Thermally stimulated depolarization currents of styrene-acrylonitrile and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymers have been investigated in the high-temperature range. A peak associated with the glass transition temperature was observed which has the characteristic of a dipolar relaxation process. Parameters such as activation energy and relaxation time associated with the dipolar relaxation process have been calculated. The compensation effect is observed to be valid and the value of the compensation temperature differs slightly from one compound to other. The linear relationship between the activation energy and the logarithm of the preexponential factor of the relaxation time is discussed in terms of the compensation temperature and the chain environment.  相似文献

The purpose of knowledge management is innovation. However, this study proposes that the existence of knowledge management in the knowledge‐worker's work environment can nurture the overall satisfaction of knowledge worker. As the ultimate purpose of knowledge management is innovation performance, therefore, the satisfaction of knowledge worker as an outcome of knowledge management should be greater innovation performance. Consequently, the purpose of this study is to test the mediating role of satisfaction of knowledge worker between knowledge management and innovation. The study collected the data from 306 knowledge workers (engineers and managers) of software houses from Pakistan. The SmartPLS 3 Version 2.7 software that uses the PLS‐SEM (Partial Least Square‐Structural Equation Modelling) technique was used. The results indicate that satisfaction of knowledge worker mediates between two knowledge management processes (knowledge creation and knowledge sharing) and innovation significantly. However, it does not mediate between knowledge utilization and innovation significantly.  相似文献

This article presents fabrication, characterization, and performance evaluation of polyetherimide (PEI)/polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) blend membranes. Polymer blend membranes with various blend ratios of PEI/PVAc were prepared by solution casting and evaporation technique. Morphology and miscibility of polymer blend membranes were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), respectively. The interaction between blend polymers was analyzed by FTIR analysis. Gas separation performance was evaluated in terms of permeability and selectivity. FESEM results revealed that pure polymer and blend membranes were homogeneous and dense in structure. A single glass transition temperature of polymer blend membranes was found in DSC analysis which indicated the miscibility of PEI/PVAc blend. FTIR analysis confirmed the presence of molecular interaction between blend polymers. The permeation results showed that the presence of PVAc (3 wt%) in blend membranes has improved CO2 permeability up to 95% compared to pure PEI membrane. In addition, CO2/CH4 selectivity was found to be 40% higher than pure PEI membrane. This study shows that blending a small fraction of PVAc can improve the gas separation performance of PEI/PVAc blend membranes. POLYM. ENG. The synthesis of polyoxymethylene dimethyl ethers as an ideal diesel fuel additive is the current hot topic of modern petrochemical industry for their expedient properties in mitigating air pollutants emission during combustion. In this work, a series of spherical sulfated zirconia catalysts were prepared by a one-pot hydrothermal method assisted with surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). The prepared sulfated zirconia catalysts were used to catalyze PODEn synthesis from methanol and formaldehyde solution. Various characterization (XRD, BET, SEM, TGA, NH3-TPD, FTIR, and Py-IR) were employed to elaborate the structure–activity relationship of the studied catalytic system. The results demonstrated that S/Zr molar ratio in precursor solution played an effective role on catalyst morphology and acidic properties, where the weak Brønsted acid sites and strong Lewis acid sites were favorable to the conversion of methanol and formation of long-chain PODEn, respectively. The reaction parameters such as catalyst amount, molar ratio of FA/MeOH, reaction time, temperature and pressure were optimized. The speculated reaction pathway for PODEn synthesis was proposed based on the synergy of Brønsted and Lewis acid sites, which suggested that Brønsted and Lewis acid sites might be advantageous to the activation of polyoxymethylene hemiformals [CH3(OCH2)nOH] and methylene glycol (HOCH2OH), respectively.  相似文献

Recent progress in wind-power generation has led to the use of grid-connected and self-excited induction generators (SEIGs). Aluminum has been the common conductor material for squirrel-cage induction machines for a long time, largely because of low cost and ease of manufacturing. Recent developments in materials engineering have brought forth copper-rotor induction machines with promising results. In these machines, skin effect as well as temperature effect on the machine equivalent-circuit parameters during operation are expected to play an important role in the evaluation of induction-machine performance. In this paper, a qualitative performance analysis of aluminum- and copper-rotor SEIGs considering the skin and thermal effects has been presented theoretically and experimentally.  相似文献
