Selectivity patterns for the sorption of organic vapors from the gas phase into cavitand monolayers on acoustic wave sensors are very similar to those seen for sorption of the same vapors by amorphous polymers, demonstrating that the vapor/cavitand selectivity patterns are determined primarily by solubility interactions. The amorphous polymers serve as controls demonstrating that the three-dimensional structure of a cavitand layer is not primarily responsible for the selectivity observed. Binding and selectivity in the examples cited are governed primarily by general dispersion interactions and not by specific oriented interactions that could lead to molecular recognition. 相似文献

An output feedback trajectory tracking controller for a kind of 3 degrees of freedom (DOF) ship motion nonlinear model is designed. The closed‐loop control system is proven to be uniformly semi‐globally exponential stable with a separate stability result for the observer by applying nonlinear cascaded system theory. Ordered mesoporous SnO2 and mesoporous Pd/SnO2 have been successfully synthesized via nanocasting method using the hexagonal mesoporous SBA-15 as template. Two different procedures, impregnation technique and direct synthesis, were utilized for the doping of Pd in the mesoporous SnO2. The results of small angle X-ray diffraction (SAXD), nitrogen adsorption–desorption and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) demonstrate that the SnO2 and Pd/SnO2 display ordered mesoporous structures and high surface areas. Wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) reveal tetragonal structure of SnO2 and the existence of Pd element. The sensing properties of mesoporous SnO2 and mesoporous Pd/SnO2 for H2 were detected. The sensor utilizing mesoporous Pd/SnO2 via direct synthesis method exhibits excellent response and recovery behavior and much higher sensitivity to H2, compared to those using mesoporous SnO2 and mesoporous Pd/SnO2 via impregnation technique. It is believed that its high gas sensing performance is derived from the large surface area, high activity and well dispersion of Pd additive, as well as high porosity, which lead to highly effective surface interaction between the target gas molecules and the surface active sites. 相似文献

The successful launch of the Landsat 8 satellite continues the Earth observation of the Landsat series, which has been taking place for nearly 40 years. With the increase in the band number and the improved spectral range compared with the previous Landsat imagery, it will be possible to expand the application of the new Landsat 8 imagery. The purpose of this study is to explore water extraction based on the new Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager (OLI) imagery. According to the specific inland water conditions (clear water, turbid water, and eutrophic water), a number of highly adaptable water indices are assessed for water extraction using Landsat OLI imagery. The results show that clear water is the easiest to extract among the different types of waterbodies, with the highest average accuracy of 97%. The highest-accuracy methods are the automated water extraction index for shadow pixels (AWEIsh), the normalized difference water index using bands 4 and 7 (NDWI47), and the normalized difference water index using bands 3 and 7 (NDWI37), with accuracies of 98.55%, 95.50%, and 96.61%, corresponding to clear water, turbid water, and eutrophic water, respectively. Through the analysis of the different methods for optimal band selection, the seventh band OLI7 (shortwave infrared 2, SWIR-2) of Landsat OLI shows the best performance in water identification. When applying the water indices to water extraction, Otsu’s algorithm has been used to automatically select the water threshold. Using extensive experiments with Otsu’s algorithm and a manual method, it was found that Otsu’s algorithm can replace manual selection and has the ability to select an accurate threshold for water extraction. 相似文献

We present a refined entanglement concentration protocol (ECP) for an arbitrary unknown less-entangled four-electron-spin cluster state by exploring the optical selection rules derived from the quantum-dot spins in one-sided optical microcavities. In our ECP, the parties obtain not only the four-electron-spin systems in the partial entanglement with two unknown parameters, but also the less-entangled two-electron-spin systems in the first step. Utilizing the above preserved systems as the resource for the second step of our ECP, the parties can obtain a standard cluster state by keeping the robust odd-parity instances with two parity-check gates. Meanwhile, the systems in the rest three instances can be used as the resource in the next round of our ECP. The success probability of our ECP is largely increased by iteration of the ECP process. Moreover, all the coefficients of our ECP are unknown for the parties without assistance of extra single electron-spin, so our ECP maybe has good applications in quantum communication network in the future. 相似文献

A topology optimization methodology is proposed for the flexible multibody system undergoing both large overall motion and large deformation. The system of concern is modeled via the absolute nodal coordinate formulation. The equivalent static load method is employed to transform the topology optimization of the nonlinear dynamic response of the system into a static one, and evaluated to adapt to the absolute nodal coordinate formulation by splitting the elastic deformations of the flexible components from the overall motions of those components. During the static topology optimization, the material interface is implicitly described as the zero level set of a higher-dimensional scalar function. Then, the semi-implicit level set method with the additive operator splitting algorithm is employed to solve the corresponding Hamilton-Jacobi partial differential equation. In addition, the expert evaluation method of weights based on the grey theory is utilized to define the objective function, and a modified augmented Lagrange multiplier method is proposed to treat the inequality volume constraint so as to avoid the oscillation and drift of the volume.
