An array of LiNi1/3Mn1/3Co1/3O2 (NMC 111) samples with a hollow-sphere morphology enabling the use of binder-free, millimeter-thick electrodes in a battery are prepared by a combination of ball milling, hydrothermal treatment and calcination. Materials are studied by powder X-ray diffraction, nitrogen adsorption measurements, X-ray fluorescence analysis, and scanning electron microscopy. Their electrochemical performance for Li+ extraction/insertion is tested by cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic chronopotentiometry on thin-film electrodes. Optimized materials, prepared by mechanical and thermal treatment with surface areas of 7 to 10 m2 g−1, provide charge capacity values of 141 to 156 mAh g−1. The concentration of the crystalline phase in NMC 111 materials with a hollow-sphere morphology is found to be the decisive parameter for their galvanostatic cycling stability. Hollow spheres with well-developed NMC nanocrystals and a low concentration of amorphous phase in the walls, exhibiting excellent cycling stability and charge capacity in thin-film electrodes are incorporated into a NMC/graphite 3D-battery module. This 122 Ah/451 Wh 3D-battery provides 78% of theoretical capacity and 73% of theoretical energy after 10 formatting cycles. Additionally, the battery prototype exhibits stable performance over more than 200 cycles at C/10 rate. A series of analogous 3D Li accumulators, currently assembled and tested in a pilot plant, represent the first step toward large-scale production of novel 3D Li accumulator.  相似文献

Bacterial Pth1 is essential for viability. Pth1 cleaves the ester bond between the peptide and nucleotide of peptidyl-tRNA generated from aborted translation, expression of mini-genes, and short ORFs. We have determined the shape of the Pth1:peptidyl-tRNA complex using small angle neutron scattering. Binding of piperonylpiperazine, a small molecule constituent of a combinatorial synthetic library common to most compounds with inhibitory activity, was mapped to Pth1 via NMR spectroscopy. We also report computational docking results, modeling piperonylpiperazine binding based on chemical shift perturbation mapping. Overall these studies promote Pth1 as a novel antibiotic target, contribute to understanding how Pth1 interacts with its substrate, advance the current model for cleavage, and demonstrate feasibility of small molecule inhibition.  相似文献

This article focuses on the accessibility of local e-government web pages. Accessibility is herein considered in a broader perspective, taking also into account that information must be findable within the Internet through conventional fulltext search engines. Based on this assumption, an analysis of 39 local e-government websites in the Czech Republic was carried out in two testing periods (March 2006 and April 2008). The web pages were analysed both from a citizen’s point of view (with disadvantage due to disability or to technical equipment) and from the point of view of fulltext search engines. In the analysis of results, there is an overall evaluation and comparison between testing periods and recommendations for improvement of the current conditions.  相似文献

The preparation of Ba0.85Ca0.15 Zr0.1Ti0.9O3 (BCZT) powders by wet chemical methods has been investigated, and the powders used to explore relationships between the microstructure and piezoelectric properties (d33 coefficient) of sintered BCZT ceramics. Sol–gel synthesis has been shown to be a successful method for the preparation of BCZT nanopowders with a pure tetragonal perovskite phase structure, specific surface area up to 21.8 m2/g and a mean particle size of 48 nm. These powders were suitable for the fabrication of dense BCZT ceramics with fine‐grain microstructures. The ceramics with the highest density of 95% theoretical density (TD) and grain size of 1.3 μm were prepared by uniaxial pressing followed by a two‐step sintering approach which contributed to the refinement of the BCTZ microstructure. A decrease in the grain size to 0.8–0.9 μm was achieved when samples were prepared using cold isostatic pressing. Using various sintering schedules, BCZT ceramics with broad range of grain sizes (0.8–60.5 μm) were prepared. The highest d33 = 410.8 ± 13.2 pC/N was exhibited by ceramics prepared from sol–gel powder sintered at 1425°C, with the relative density of 89.6%TD and grain size of 36 μm.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to evaluate the beneficial effect of α‐linolenic acid‐rich black raspberry seed (BRS) oil on lipid metabolism in high‐fat diet (HFD)‐induced obese and db/db mice. Five‐week‐old C57BL/6 mice were fed diets consisting of 50% calories from lard, 5% from soybean, and 5% from corn oil (HFD), or 50% calories from lard and 10% from BRS oil (HFD + BRS oil diet) for 12 weeks. Six‐week‐old C57BL/KsJ‐db/db mice were fed diets consisting of 16% calories from soybean oil (standard diet), 8% from soybean, and 8% from BRS oil, or 16% from BRS oil for 10 weeks. The BRS oil diets lowered the levels of triacylglycerol, nonesterified fatty acids, and total cholesterol in serum and liver of both of the obese and db/db mice as compared with the HFD and standard diet, respectively. mRNA levels of lipogenesis markers including cluster of differentiation 36, fatty‐acid‐binding protein 1, sterol regulatory element binding protein 1c, fatty‐acid synthase, and solute carrier family 25 member 1 in the liver of the BRS oil groups were lower than those in the liver of the HFD and standard groups in the obese and db/db mice, respectively. On the other hand, fatty‐acid oxidation markers including carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1A, acyl‐CoA dehydrogenase, hydroxylacyl‐CoA dehydrogenase α, and acyl‐CoA oxidase in the liver of the BRS oil groups were higher than those in the liver of the HFD and standard groups in the obese and db/db mice, respectively. Peroxisome proliferator‐activated receptor α mRNA and protein levels increased in the liver and epididymal adipose tissue of the obese and db/db mice fed BRS oil compared with HFD and standard diet, respectively. BRS oil might improve lipid metabolism by inhibiting lipogenesis and promoting fatty‐acid oxidation in HFD‐induced obese and db/db mice.  相似文献

Sodium niobate thin films doped with manganese (NN), and NN films modified with 5 or 10 mol % calcium zirconate (CZ) on platinized silicon substrates were prepared by chemical solution deposition. The 250-nm-thick films crystallize in a perovskite phase with fine, equiaxed grains. The NN films exhibit well-shaped ferroelectric loops with a remanent polarization and coercive field of ~10 μC/cm2 and ~100 kV/cm, respectively. The modification with CZ strongly influences the ferroelectric response of the films: the remanent polarization progressively decreases to around 2.5 μC/cm2. The absence of an anti-ferroelectric response, which has previously been confirmed in bulk NN-CZ ceramics, is attributed to the nanoscale microstructure and residual thermal stresses. All the studied films exhibit a piezoelectric response with the highest piezoelectric d33 coefficient of 35 pm/V at 300 kV/cm bias field for the NN modified films with 5 mol % CZ, making them candidates for lead-free piezoelectric thin-film applications.  相似文献

This article presents a multiscale approach to derive the interlaminar properties of graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs)-based polymeric composites reinforced by short glass fibers (SGFs) and unidirectional carbon fibers (UCFs). The approach accounts for the debonding at the interface of a 2-phases GNPs/polymer matrix using a cohesive model. The resulting composite is used within a 3-phases nanocomposite consisting either of a GNPs/polyamide/SGFs or a GNPs/epoxy/UCFs nanocomposite. Experiments are performed for determining the interlaminar fracture toughness in mode I for the GNPs/epoxy/UCFs. Results show that the aspect ratio (AR) of GNPs influences the effective Young modulus which increases until a threshold. Also, the addition of the GNPs increases up to 10% the transverse Young modulus and up to 11% the shear modulus as well as up to 16% the transverse tensile strength useful in crashworthiness performance. However, the nanocomposite behavior remains fiber dominant in the longitudinal direction. This leads to a weak variation of the mechanical properties in that direction. Due to the well-known uniform dispersion issues of GNPs, the interlaminar fracture toughness GIC has decreased up to 8.5% for simulation and up to 2.4% for experiments while no significant variation of the interlaminar stress distribution is obtained compared to a nanocomposite without GNPs. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
