The PBD-Closure of Constant-Composition Codes

We show an interesting pairwise balanced design (PBD)-closure result for the set of lengths of constant-composition codes whose distance and size meet certain conditions. A consequence of this PBD-closure result is that the size of optimal constant-composition codes can be determined for infinite families of parameter sets from just a single example of an optimal code. As an application, the sizes of several infinite families of optimal constant-composition codes are derived. In particular, the problem of determining the size of optimal constant-composition codes having distance four and weight three is solved for all lengths sufficiently large. This problem was previously unresolved for odd lengths, except for lengths seven and eleven.

船舶管系减振材料的应用研究

为适应我国舰船减振降噪的需要，试制出ＱＧＤ－１和ＱＧＤ－２两种穿孔型隔振垫，主要用于管路马脚，也可用于基座等振动部位。对两种隔振垫的阻尼性能、阻燃性能、耐油性能与国外同类产品进行了比较。经管路模型试验和水泵机组试验证明，这两种隔振垫可使管路系统振动加速度级明显下降。     

Sliding wear behavior of salt bath nitrocarburized medium carbon steel

Salt bath nitrocarburizing is a well-known thermochemical diffusion process for enhancing the tribological and corrosion properties of ferrous components. The current work describes the role of a compound layer developed during nitrocarburizing, both in the ferritic and austenitic regimes of Fe-N-C system, on the sliding wear behavior of a medium carbon steel. The wear behavior of the nitrocarburized steel discs was assessed by the pin-on-disc tests (ASTM G 99-99) under different normal loads running against a hardened SAE52100 pin. It was observed that the compound layer on the surface not only controlled the wear rate but also resisted the adhesive wear/transfer of material from pin to disc, aside from providing low-friction coefficients.     

TiO_2-聚乙烯复合膜的制备及红外光谱对其膜层结构的表征

开发了以Ｔｉ４＋为桥联剂制备无机－有机复合膜的新方法以自制的硅藻土多孔陶瓷为基膜（支撑体），使用浸涂法－热致相转化法相结合制备了ＴｉＯ２－聚乙烯复合膜，并用红外光谱表征了复合膜层与层之间的结合方式和强度，支撑体中的ＳｉＯ２通过Ｔｉ４＋与聚乙烯的分子之间形成了新的化合物型膜层     

Cardinal and scattered-cardinal interpolation by functions having non-compact support

In this paper, we introduce the notion “scattered-cardinal interpolation” and obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for the solvability of this interpolation scheme. We also generalize some results of de Boor, Höllig and Riemenschneider, Chui, Jetter and Ward, and Jetter and Riemenschneider on the correctness of l^p-cardinal interpolation on Z^d or its submoduls.     

Influence of rubber content in ABS in wide range on the mechanical properties and morphology of PC/ABS blends with different composition

A series of acrylonitrile–butadiene–styrene (ABS) with different rubber content were prepared by diluting ABS grafting copolymer containing 60% rubber with a styrene–acrylonitrile copolymer. ABS prepared were blended with bisphenol‐A‐polycarbonate (PC) at the ratio of 70/30, 50/50, and 30/70 to prepare PC/ABS blends. Influence of rubber content in ABS on the properties of ABS and PC/ABS blends were investigated. PC/ABS blends with different compositions got good toughness when the rubber in ABS increased to the level that ABS itself got good toughness. The tensile properties and processability of PC/ABS blends decreased with the increase of the total rubber content introduced into the blends. ABS with the rubber content of 30 wt% is most suitable to be used to prepare PC/ABS blends. The rubber content in ABS affected the viscosity of ABS, and subsequently the viscosity ratio of PC to ABS. As a result, the morphology of PC/ABS blends varied. The increase of rubber content in ABS results in finer structure of PC/ABS blends. POLYM. ENG.
