Security of the Cao-Li public key cryptosystem

The author shows that the Cao-Li cryptosystem proposed [1991] is not secure. Its private key can be reconstructed from its public key using elementary means such as LU-decomposition and the Euclidean algorithm

Fast‐scale bifurcation in power‐factor‐correction buck‐boost converters and effects of incompatible periodicities

In this paper, we derive the discrete‐time model for the power‐factor‐correction (PFC) buck‐boost converter in terms of a stroboscopic switching map. Fast‐scale instability is analysed through a fold diagram, which exposes the periodicity of the operation as well as the locations of the critical phase angles of the line voltage at which instability begins to occur along a half‐line cycle. The asymmetrical locations of the critical phase angles along a half‐line cycle is explained in terms of ‘under‐developed’ bifurcation. 教育与处罚相结合加强灌区水行政执法力度

在灌区的日常水行政执法过程中,普遍存在两种错误倾向:一种认为,水行政执法手段不硬,于是执法人员在执法过程中无所作为,只对当事人进行教育,甚至采取漠视不管的态度;另一种则认为,既然是执法就讲不得情面,执法人员遇到水事案件就不视具体的案情环境,不问清详细的情由,一罚了之。显然,这两种倾向都是错误和有害的。作为水行政执法人员,在处理水事案件中应当坚持教育与处罚相结合,依法管护水利工程。

Fluorescence in situ hybridization mapping of the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene to 7q31.3

We have used the fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) technique to refine the localization of the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene on human chromosome 7. The result shows that the gene is most likely located within band q31.3.     

四川盆地中部上三叠统香溪群岩性油气藏圈闭类型及其特征

四川盆地川中地区构造平缓,大型断裂欠发育,已发现的油气藏与背斜关系并不十分密切。研究认为,川中地区香溪群主要发育岩性圈闭,根据圈闭形成主控因素,结合香溪群沉积前的古地貌特征和裂缝发育特点,将川中香溪群岩性圈闭划分为4种类型:①与地层尖灭相关的地层—岩性圈闭;②与沉积—成岩相变密切相关的成岩—岩性圈闭;③与古地貌有关的差异压实作用形成的岩性圈闭;④与断层转化调节相关的裂缝—岩性复合圈闭。其中成岩—岩性圈闭和地层—岩性圈闭,是川中香溪群最重要的、分布最广泛的圈闭类型。

The chemical anchoring of noble metal amine precursors to silica

The effect of pretreatment on the dispersion of supported noble metal Catalyst prepared from amine precursors in basic solution have been studied. The following metal precursors were used: Pt(NH₃)₄(NO₃)₂, Pd(NH₃)₄(NO₃)₂, Ru(NH₃)₆Cl₃ and [Rh(NH₃)₅Cl]Cl₂ Pretreatment in oxygen, prior to reduction in H₂ at 400C, resulted in poor dispersions for Ru and Rh, moderate dispersions for Pd and high dispersions for Pt. Pretreatment in H₂ resulted in poor dispersions for Pd and Pt and high dispersions for Ru and Rh. Decomposition of the adsorbed Pt and Pd precursors in argon resulted in very high dispersions.
