Summary 3-(N-Carbazolyl)-1-propyne polymerized with MoCl5- and WCl6-based catalysts to produce a polymer in high yields. The MoCl5 and MoCl5-n-Bu4Sn catalysts were the most effective (the systems solidified immediately after initiation of polymerization with these catalysts). The product polymer was a yellow solid insoluble in any solvent. Copolymerization of the present monomer with tert-butylacetylene by MoCl5-n-Bu4Sn produced a copolymer; it had a high molecular weight (M w 350,000), completely dissolved in toluene, CHCl3 etc, and formed a free-standing film by solution casting. -N-Carbazolyl-1-hexyne and-1-octyne produced toluene-insoluble polymers with WCl6-Ph4Sn.  相似文献

Solution-processed copper(I) thiocyanate (CuSCN) typically exhibits low crystallinity with short-range order; the defects result in a high density of trap states that limit the device's performance. Despite the extensive electronic applications of CuSCN, its defect properties are not understood in detail. Through X-ray absorption spectroscopy, pristine CuSCN prepared from the standard diethyl sulfide-based recipe is found to contain under-coordinated Cu atoms, pointing to the presence of SCN vacancies. A defect passivation strategy is introduced by adding solid I2 to the processing solution. At small concentrations, the iodine is found to exist as I which can substitute for the missing SCN ligand, effectively healing the defective sites and restoring the coordination around Cu. Computational study results also verify this point. Applying I2-doped CuSCN as a p-channel in thin-film transistors shows that the hole mobility increases by more than five times at the optimal doping concentration of 0.5 mol.%. Importantly, the on/off current ratio and the subthreshold characteristics also improve as the I2 doping method leads to the defect-healing effect while avoiding the creation of detrimental impurity states. An analysis of the capacitance-voltage characteristics corroborates that the trap state density is reduced upon I2 addition.  相似文献

The properties of a quasi-one-dimensional (Q1D) electron system on liquid helium are considered and the experiments on the carrier transport are presented. It has been shown that the electron mobility changes from high values close to that for bulk helium to very small values as a function of the Q1D channel width. Such a behaviour of is connected to a gradual transition from the regime of the quasi-free movement of the carriers in a Q1D system to the conditions of strong localization of the electrons. In the last case depends on temperature exponentially with the activation energy of a few degrees. It is predicted that in Q1D channels in regime of the localization two optical plasmon branches can exist. One of them (a high frequency branch) is connected with the oscillations of electrons in potential wells and another one has lower frequency and is due to the oscillations of dimples, which are created by localized electrons on the liquid helium surface, in the potential wells. Possible new experiments on study of magnetotransport, plasma oscillations and phase diagram of ordered-disordered states in a Q1D electron system of a finite length over liquid helium are proposed and discussed.  相似文献

Thick silica films were prepared by the electrophoretic sol–gel deposition technique in the presence of poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) using monodispersed silica particles; the particles were prepared by the sol–gel method, pre-heat treated and then re-dispersed in the mixture of H2O and ethanol. The weight of deposited silica films was maximized when 0.2 mass % of PAA against the whole amount of sol was added. The particles constructing the thick silica films were packed densely when the amount of added PAA was less than 0.2 mass%. The weight of the film increased with decrease in the content of H2O in the sol when a fixed amount of PAA was added. After the heat treatment of deposited films at 800 °C, crack-free silica films of about 30 m thickness were prepared. © 1998 Chapman & Hall  相似文献

The method for measurement of ruthenium isotopic composition as RuO(3)(-) by negative thermal ionization mass spectrometry (NTI-MS) is shown to be sensitive and accurate. Precise measurement of the (18)O/(16)O ratio, which is important for oxygen correction in NTI-MS, has also been made. Both Re and Pt filaments were tested, and the latter was proved to be more efficient for negative ion production. The mechanism of ion production with the addition of HI as a reducing reagent and Ba(NO(3))(2) as an ionizing enhancer was also studied. Sensitivity was found to be about 100 times higher than that of the positive mode. Factors related to negative ion formation are discussed, and parameters are optimized. The ionization efficiency has been improved to 0.7%. Ten nanograms of Ru yielded a total ion current of 3 × 10(-12) A for 1 h. The precisions of all Ru isotope ratios with a 100 ng sample size were better than 0.009%.  相似文献

Separation and identification of proteins by two-dimensional (2-D) electrophoresis can be used for protein-based gene expression analysis. In this report single protein spots, from polyvinylidene difluoride blots of micropreparative E. coli 2-D gels, were rapidly and economically identified by matching their amino acid composition, estimated pI and molecular weight against all E. coli entries in the SWISS-PROT database. Thirty proteins from an E. coli 2-D map were analyzed and identities assigned. Three of the proteins were unknown. By protein sequencing analysis, 20 of the 27 proteins were correctly identified. Importantly, correct identifications showed unambiguous "correct" score patterns. While incorrect protein identifications also showed distinctive score patterns, indicating that protein must be identified by other means. These techniques allow large-scale screening of the protein complement of simple organisms, or tissues in normal and disease states. An implicit tenet of modern search heuristics is that there is a mutually exclusive balance between two desirable goals: search diversity (or distribution), i.e., search through a maximum number of distinct areas, and, search intensity, i.e., a maximum search exploitation within each specific area. We claim that the hypothesis that these goals are mutually exclusive is false in parallel systems. We argue that it is possible to devise methods that exhibit high search intensity and high search diversity during the whole algorithmic execution. It is considered how distance metrics, i.e., functions for measuring diversity (given by the minimum number of local search steps between two solutions) and coordination policies, i.e., mechanisms for directing and redirecting search processes based on the information acquired by the distance metrics, can be used together to integrate a framework for the development of advanced collective search methods that present such desiderata of search intensity and search diversity under simultaneous coexistence. The presented model also avoids the undesirable occurrence of a problem we refer to as the ‘ergometric bike phenomenon’. Finally, this work is one of the very few analysis accomplished on a level of meta-meta-heuristics, because all arguments are independent of specific problems handled (such as scheduling, planning, etc.), of specific solution methods (such as genetic algorithms, simulated annealing, tabu search, etc.) and of specific neighborhood or genetic operators (2-opt, crossover, etc.).  相似文献

This paper considers a multiobjective linear programming problem involving fuzzy random variable coefficients. A new fuzzy random programming model is proposed by extending the ideas of level set-based optimality and a stochastic programming model. The original problem involving fuzzy random variables is transformed into a deterministic equivalent problem through the proposed model. An interactive algorithm is provided to obtain a satisficing solution for a decision maker from among a set of newly defined Pareto optimal solutions. It is shown that an optimal solution of the problem to be solved iteratively in the interactive algorithm is analytically obtained by a combination of the bisection method and the simplex method.  相似文献

Firing rates and synchronous firing are often simultaneously relevant signals, and they independently or cooperatively represent external sensory inputs, cognitive events, and environmental situations such as body position. However, how rates and synchrony comodulate and which aspects of inputs are effectively encoded, particularly in the presence of dynamical inputs, are unanswered questions. We examine theoretically how mixed information in dynamic mean input and noise input is represented by dynamic population firing rates and synchrony. In a subthreshold regime, amplitudes of spatially uncorrelated noise are encoded up to a fairly high input frequency, but this requires both rate and synchrony output channels. In a suprathreshold regime, means and common noise amplitudes can be simultaneously and separately encoded by rates and synchrony, respectively, but the input frequency for which this is possible has a lower limit.  相似文献
