The rate controlling step and the energy barrier involved in the hydrogen adsorption over Pt/MoO3 were studied. Rates of hydrogen adsorption on Pt/MoO3 were measured at the adsorption temperature range of 323–573 K and at the initial hydrogen pressure of 6.7 kPa. The rate of hydrogen uptake was very high for the initial few minutes for adsorption at and above 473 K, and reached equilibrium within 2 h. At and below 423 K, the hydrogen uptake still continued and did not reach equilibrium after 10 h. The hydrogen uptake exceeded the H/Pt ratio of unity for adsorption at and above 423 K, indicating that hydrogen adsorption involves hydrogen atom spillover and surface diffusion of the spiltover hydrogen atom over the bulk surface of MoO3 followed by formation of HxMoO3. The hydrogen uptake was scarcely appreciable for Pt-free MoO3. The rate controlling step of the hydrogen adsorption on Pt/MoO3 was the surface diffusion of the spiltover hydrogen with the activation energy of 83.1 kJ/mol. The isosteric heats of hydrogen adsorption on Pt/MoO3 were 18.1–16.9 kJ/mol for the hydrogen uptake range 2.4–2.8 × 1019 H-atom/g-cat. Similarities and differences in hydrogen adsorption on Pt/SO42?–ZrO2, Pt/WO3–ZrO2 and Pt/MoO3 catalysts are discussed.  相似文献

A skin-like photodiode (PD) that is stretchable and skin-conformable is crucial to opening the next-generation wearable electronics for optical biometric monitoring, biomedical imaging, and others. To achieve reliable PD characteristics under large deformation, stretchable PDs with high detectivity and high mechanical stretchability must be developed. Herein, intrinsically stretchable polymer-based PDs (is-PPDs) comprising all-polymeric constituent layers are demonstrated. In particular, elastomeric photoactive layers consisting of an elastomer with p-/n-type semiconducting polymers and conducting polymer-based stretchable transparent electrodes with modulated work functions improve both the mechanical stability and the detectivity (D*) of is-PPDs. Accordingly, is-PPDs show excellent D* over 1013 Jones with a suppressed dark current density of 0.1 nA cm−2 before and after 100% stretching. The proposed is-PPDs record high-quality and stable photoplethysmography signals at the wrist with outward extension.  相似文献

Experimental investigations were carried out on the characteristics of the thermal field of a wall plume ascending from a horizontal line heat source embedded on the low part of a vertical wall surface. For the stability analysis of the present wall plume field, a vibrating copper wire was set horizontally near the line heat source in the field and the wall plume field was disturbed by the vibrating wire. Some two-dimensional sinusoidal thermal disturbances were introduced into the wall plume field and the growth or diminution of the amplitude of temperature fluctuations by the artificial disturbance were measured in the wall plume field with a thermal probe. The response characteristics of the wall plume field to the disturbance frequency were also examined. Two Melittini species, Macroscelesia japona and M. longipes (Lepidoptera: Sesiidae), are native to Japan, but occupy different localities as their host plants seldom grow together. The contents of the sex pheromone gland of adult females of both species, obtained after rearing larvae collected from the field, were investigated by gas chromatograph-electroantennogram detection (GC-EAD) and gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analyses. Two GC-EAD-active components were found in a crude extract of M. japona female pheromone gland, and identified as (2E,13Z)-2,13-octadecadien-1-ol (E2,Z13-18:OH) and (2E,13Z)-2,13-octadecadienal (E2,Z13-18:Ald). The average ratio of these two components was about 1:10. In the field, M. japona males were attracted to traps baited with E2,Z13-18:Ald alone, but the strongest attraction was observed with a 1:100 mixture of E2,Z13-18:OH and E2,Z13-18:Ald. The same two components were found in extracts of M. longipes females, but in a markedly different ratio. Male M. longipes were attracted most strongly to lures containing a 20:1 mixture of E2,Z13-18:OH and E2,Z13-18:Ald, although some males were also attracted to lures with E2,Z13-18:OH alone. Although the two species do not generally occur in sympatry, our data indicate that, in the event of overlap, cross attraction of the two species is unlikely.  相似文献

A Chemical research on the flame retardancy effect of halogenated phosphates on poly(ethylene terephathalate) fabric was carried out by thermogravimetry, infrared spectral analysis, and mass spectrometry. The following conclusions were drawn: (1) The flame retardancy effect of halogenated phosphates such as tris(2,3-dibromopropyl) phosphate is due to altering the pyrolysis reaction of polyester by aldol condensation. (2) The probability that liberated halogen compounds from the phosphates act as radical acceptors in a flame zone may be low. (3) Incorporation of halogen elements into phosphates appear to depress evaporation of phosphates, which act as acidic catalysts in aldol condensation from the condensed phase.  相似文献

In this paper the thermal convection field and its resonance phenomena in a rectangular cavity with heat‐flux vibration are numerically examined and the results are compared with those of a square cavity. As in the case of α=1, the critical angular velocity at which the relative amplitude of the midplane Nusselt number αm has a local maximum agrees very well with the resonance angular velocity of the internal gravity wave ωr, estimated by the theoretical equation proposed by Thorpe, even when the aspect ratio is α=5 and the Prandtl number is Pr=0.71 for a range of the Rayleigh number Ra. However, αm has two local maxima for a larger Ra, which is peculiar to the case of larger α. The time variation of sub‐components of the fluctuating component of the midplane Nusselt number shows that the phase at the maximum value of αm agrees well with that of the sub‐component of velocity for the first resonance angular velocity ωr. For the other angular velocity ωr2, the phase of αm agrees with that of the sub‐component of temperature. Moreover, we found that the boundary angular velocity ω0 between the first two of the five ω regions, which classify the thermal convection fields against ω, can be expressed by a function of α, Ra, and Pr and that αm is independent of α and Ra for a relatively wide range of ω/ω0. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Bacillus cereus isolated from a soil sample, inductively produced alpha-L-fucosidase in culture medium containing porcine gastric mucin (PGM). The production of the enzyme was also weakly induced by L-fucose and D-arabinose, but not by other sugars including glucose. The enzyme was purified 61-fold with an overall recovery of 1.8% from the culture fluid supplemented with PGM by ammonium sulfate precipitation, acetone fractionation, and subsequent column chromatography. The purified enzyme was found homogeneous by SDS-PAGE and its molecular mass was estimated to be approximately 196,000 kDa. Its optimum pH was 7.0 and it was stable in the pH range of 5.0 to 9.0. The enzyme hydrolyzed the alpha-(1-->2)-L-fucosidic linkage in oligosaccharides such as Fucalpha1-2Galbeta1-4Glc (2'-fucosyllactose), Fucalpha1-2Galbeta1-3GlcNAcbeta1-3Galbeta1-4Glc (lacto-N-fucopentaose I), and the glycoprotein PGM. The enzyme was inactive on p-nitrophenyl alpha-L-fucoside, the alpha-(1-->3)-L-fucosidic linkages in Galbeta1-4(Fucalpha1-3)GlcNAcbeta1-3Galbeta1-4Glc (lacto-N-fucopentaose III) and orosomucoid, the alpha-(1-->4)-L-fucosidic linkage in Galbeta1-3(Fucalpha1-4)GlcNAcbeta1-3Galbeta1-4Glc (lacto-N-fucopentaose II), and the alpha-(1-->6)-L-fucosidic linkage in thyroglobulin.  相似文献

The removal of blue-green algae by dispersed gas flotation was conducted. Methylated ovalbumin (MeOA) was used as frother and flocculant, which is a biodegradable substance. The continuous flotation experiments were conducted at different feed mass flow rate of the blue-green algae cells and MeOA. The operating variables were the mass flow rate of blue-green algae cell and MeOA, the initial concentration of the cells and MeOA, and superficial gas velocity. The results showed that the mass flow rate of MeOA was the most dominant variable affected by the removal efficiency and that the removal efficiency achieved ca. 0.85 when a ratio of the mass flow rate of MeOA and that of the cells was over 0.3. A proposed flotation model considering the adsorptions of MeOA to the cells, MeOA to bubble surface and the cells bearing with MeOA to bubble surface was applied to explain the experimental removal efficiency. The experimental and the calculated removal efficiency were within error 19%, indicating that the proposed model was valid fundamentally.  相似文献

The silent-discharge excitation is advantageous for a high-quality beam pattern and for pulsed operation and sealed-off operation.
