This paper proposes a new advanced fabrication technology for a low-cost integrated-type a-Si solar cell. Integrated-type cells provide many advantages and have been industrialized with a laser patterning method. However, a higher throughput and more efficient patterning method was required for applying a-Si solar cells to a power generating system. Plasma CVM (Chemical Vaporization Machining) was first applied to advanced patterning because of its advantages of high speed and selectivity. In this method, a plasma generated under high pressure localizes near the wire electrode and concentrates reactive radicals. As a result, we achieved an etching rate of more than 1 μm/s and selective patterning of a 200 μm-wide a-Si layer in 1 s multiline patterning was also developed for large-area modules.  相似文献

A feasibility study is carried out on a 1.6 μm continuous-wave modulation laser absorption spectrometer system for measurement of global CO(2)concentration from a satellite. The studies are performed for wavelength selection and both systematic and random error analyses. The systematic error in the differential absorption optical depth (DAOD) is mainly caused by the temperature estimation error, surface pressure estimation error, altitude estimation error, and ON wavelength instability. The systematic errors caused by unwanted backscattering from background aerosols and dust aerosols can be reduced to less than 0.26% by using a modulation frequency of around 200 kHz, when backscatter coefficients of these unwanted backscattering have a simple profile on altitude. The influence of backscattering from cirrus clouds is much larger than that of dust aerosols. The transmission power required to reduce the random error in the DAOD to 0.26% is determined by the signal-to-noise ratio and the carrier-to-noise ratio calculations. For a satellite altitude of 400 km and receiving aperture diameter of 1 m, the required transmission power is approximately 18 W and 70 W when albedo is 0.31 and 0.08, respectively; the total measurement time in this case is 4 s, which corresponds to a horizontal resolution of 28 km.  相似文献

Amorphous polymer/crystalline polymer blends can be prepared via the simultaneous polymerization of polymethacrylate/polyurethane combinations. The relationship between higher order structures and fracture mechanisms in these blends must be uncovered to elucidate the source of the increased fracture toughness of such materials. The present work involves the production of blended polymethacrylate/polyurethane and assess the internal structures of these specimens using optical and electron microscopy. These observations reveal the presence of both spherulites and elastomeric phases. The spherulites consisting of the polyurethane and are several micrometers in diameter whereas the phase-separated polyurethane elastomeric domains are approximately 100 nm in size. Multiple cracks, crack bridging and plastic deformation around the precrack tips of loaded specimens are evidently responsible for the increased toughness of these blends. The former two phenomena are attributed to the presence of spherulites while the plastic deformation of the methacrylate matrix is ascribed to cavitation of the polyurethane elastomeric phases in response to loading.  相似文献

A reactive solid-phase epitaxy (R-SPE) method combines deposition of a thick amorphous or polycrystalline layer with a desired chemical composition and post-deposition solid-phase epitaxial growth. The solid-phase epitaxial growth is invoked by thermal annealing with an assistance of a sacrificial layer working as an epitaxial template. Thereby it enables us to grow high-quality epitaxial films of complex oxides whose epitaxial films are not grown by conventional high-temperature growth techniques. It was reported that 2-nm-thick ZnO layers worked as template for growing InGaO3(ZnO)m (m = integer) epitaxial films. The present study extended the R-SPE technique to growth of various complex oxides with chemical compositions of RAO3(MO)m and to use of various epitaxial template layers. We found that mono oxide epitaxial layers such as In2O3 and Ga2O3 work as template layers as well. Alternatively, a ZnO epitaxial layer is also applicable to ZnO-free compounds. The films obtained were grown heteroepitaxially on YSZ(111) and single-crystalline when the fabrication conditions are optimized.  相似文献

Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and Fas ligand (FasL) have been implicated in the pathogenesis of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), which is a major complication after allogeneic bone marrow transplantation. We examined here the ameliorating effect of a metalloproteinase inhibitor (KB-R7785) that inhibits TNF-alpha and FasL release in a lethal acute GVHD model in mice. Administration of KB-R7785 into (BALB/c x C57BL/6) F1 that received C57BL/6 spleen cells markedly reduced the mortality and weight loss in association with minimal signs of GVHD pathology in the liver, intestine, and hematopoietic tissues. The ameliorating effect of KB-R7785 was superior to that of anti-TNF-alpha antibody. Our results suggest that KB-R7785 could be a potent therapeutic agent for GVHD.  相似文献

The highly nonlinear fiber (HNLF)-based lumped fiber Raman amplifiers (LRAs) for four- and eight-channel coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) transmission systems have been investigated. By using the developed LRA, the four-channel CWDM transmission over conventional single-mode fiber (SMF) with the length of 150 km has been successfully achieved.  相似文献

Field-ion microscopy connected with the successive field-evaporation technique and the atom-probe analysis has been applied to studying precipitation processes, especially the early stage of precipitation, in age-hardenable aluminium alloys, such as Al-Cu, Al-Ag and Al-Sc alloys. In Al-Cu alloys, coexistence of the single-layer G.P.(1) zones and the multilayer G.P.(1) zones has been confirmed and the difference between G.P.(1) zones and G.P.(2) zones has been clearly recognized. In Al-Ag alloys, the octahedral shape of η-G.P. zones has been confirmed. In Al-Sc alloys, it has been found that the equilibrium Al3Sc phase particles precipitate homogeneously from the beginning without any preprecipitation stage and coherency between the precipitate and the matrix is maintained even in an alloy aged at relatively higher temperature for prolonged periods of time.  相似文献
