A wind turbine generator (WTG) system's output is not constant and fluctuates depending on wind conditions. Fluctuating power causes frequency deviations and adverse effects to an isolated power system when large output power from WTG systems is penetrated in the power system. This paper presents an output power control methodology of a WTG for frequency control using a load power estimator. The load power is estimated by a disturbance observer, and the output power command of the WTG is determined according to the estimated load. Besides, the WTG can also be controlled during wind turbulence since the output power command is determined by considering wind conditions. The reduction of the power system frequency deviation by using the WTG can be achieved by the proposed method. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated by numerical simulations. Nowadays, a wind turbine generator (WTG) is required to provide control capabilities as the output power of WTG fluctuates. Under this scenario, this paper proposes an output power control method of a wind farm (WF) connected to a small power system using pitch angle control. In this control approach, the WF output power control is achieved by two control levels: central and local. In the central control, the WF output power command is determined by considering the frequency deviations and wind speeds using a fuzzy function. Then, the local output power commands for each of the WTGs are based on the proposed dispatch control. In the proposed dispatch control, the output commands of each WTG are determined by considering wind conditions for each of the WTGs. Investigations were conducted on the VFT (Very Fast Transient) surges that propagate into a 500‐kV transformer. The disconnector restriking surge and ground fault surged were discussed. It was regarded that a large part of the surge voltage was applied just at the entrance of the transformer winding for the VFT surges. Thus, an equivalent circuit that models the windings was used for the analysis. The overvoltages that appear between the first winding sections at the entrance of the transformer were computed. The following was established. (1) The overvoltage between the first winding sections becomes greater when the magnitude of the voltage change at the transformer terminal is larger. The overvoltage between the first winding sections is not affected by the magnitude of the transformer terminal voltage. (2) For the disconnectors that are not connected directly to the transformer, the voltage change at the transformer terminal is not so large. (3) In the case of a ground fault at the GIS near the transformer, the voltage change at the transformer terminal is the same as that for a disconnector directly connected to the transformer. (4) In actual GIS, the disconnector that is connected directly to the transformer is not usually used. This paper describes the development of three‐dimensional (3D) human recognition system of flying drone system for emergency rescue and investigation. In this system, deep neural network and its application for 3D object recognition are key techniques for human detection from a free viewpoint. Some appearance based characteristics are captured as movie frames, and the system uses deep neural networks to automatically classify concerned object. The proposed system performs well that many kinds of views of personnel can be recognized from bird's eye view. All‐solid‐state batteries attract significant attention owing to their potential to realize an energy storage system with high safety and energy density. In this paper, a mechanochemical synthesis of novel amorphous positive electrode materials of the Ni‐rich LiNi1−x−yMnxCoyO2 (NMC)–Li2SO4 system suitable for oxide‐type all‐solid‐state batteries is reported. Through the mechanochemical treatment with Li2SO4, excellent formabilities of the electrode materials as those of ductile solid electrolytes are obtained. Owing to the deformability of the active material, a good electrode/electrolyte interface is provided simply by pressing at room temperature. In all‐oxide solid‐state cells using 80NMCs·20Li2SO4 (mol%) positive electrode materials, the cell capacity increases with the Ni content in the NMC. The all‐solid‐state cell using the 80NMC811·20Li2SO4 positive electrode active material exhibits a high capacity larger than 250 mAh g−1 in a voltage range of 1.6–4.8 V versus Li at 100 °C. Furthermore, bulk‐type all‐oxide solid‐state batteries (Li4Ti5O12/80NMC532·20Li2SO4 (mol%)) successfully function as secondary batteries with excellent cycle performances. 相似文献
