Intelligential industrial management

In this paper, we propose the intelligential industrial management which is the new concept in the industrial management. In the intelligential industrial management, the know-how and experience in the production process are divided into the fact, relation, and action in whit many criteria are used. The rule is constructed from the relation and action. And the inference process shows the sequence of the action and rule by using the inference symbol proposed.     

Intentional side etching to achieve low-noise GaAs f.e.t.

A very-low-noise 0.5 ?m-gate GaAs f.e.t. is realised by using intentional side etching of an Au/Ti double layer as the Schottky-gate metal. At 12 GHz, the minimum noise figure is 2.1 dB, with 7.6 dB associated gain at a bias of VD = 4 V, ID= 10 mA. Maximum stable gain is 14 dB at VD = 4 V, ID = 30 mA.     

130 kHz 7.5 kW current source inverters using static inductiontransistors for induction heating applications

A control scheme of a high-frequency high-power current source inverters using static induction transistors is described which aims at the suppression of the surge voltage and reduction of the switching loss during the commutation of current. The inverter is operated at a leading power factor, which requires the phase angle of the output current to be adjusted to each specific load point by the controller. The stable operation is verified by the experiments under the commutation inductance 1.8 μH, i.e., 18% reactance (130 kHz, 250 V, 30 A, base). As a result, the inverter efficiency is estimated to be 97%, excluding the loss of the drive circuit and the control circuit     

Generating material strength standards of aluminum alloys for research reactors I. Yield strength values Sy and tensile strength values Su

Aluminum alloys are frequently used as structural materials for research reactors. The material strength standards, however, such as the yield strength values (S_y), the tensile strength values (S_u) and the design fatigue curve—which are needed to use aluminum alloys as structural materials in “design by analysis”—for those materials have not been determined yet. Hence, a series of material tests was performed and the results were statistically analyzed with the aim of generating these material strength standards. This paper, the first in a series on material strength standards of aluminum alloys, describes the aspects of the tensile properties of the standards. The draft standards were compared with MITI no. 501 as well as with the ASME codes, and the trend of the available data also was examined. It was revealed that the draft proposal could be adopted as the material strength standards, and that the values of the draft standards at and above 150°C for A6061-T6 and A6063-T6 could be applied only to the reactor operating conditions III and IV. Also the draft standards have already been adopted in the Science and Technology Agency regulatory guide (standards for structural design of nuclear research plants).     

Detection of Helicobacter pylori associated antigen and heat shock protein 60 on follicular dendritic cells in the germinal centres of low grade B cell lymphoma of gastric mucosa associated lymphoid tissue (MALT)

AIMS: To investigate the localisation of Helicobacter pylori antigens and the expression of human heat shock proteins (HSP) in stomachs affected by MALT lymphoma. METHODS: Surgically resected stomachs from 24 patients with MALT lymphoma were immunostained with anti-H pylori rabbit antibodies (ORP-1 and ORP-2) and anti-human HSP60 mouse monoclonal antibodies (mAb) (LK-1 and LK-2). RESULTS: Follicular dendritic cells of germinal centres in the stomachs affected by MALT lymphoma were immunostained with anti-H pylori polyclonal antibodies and with anti-human HSP60 mAb, as were the epithelial cells. None of the lymph node samples reacted. CONCLUSIONS: Human HSP60, which cross reacts with anti-H pylori polyclonal antibodies, is often expressed on follicular dendritic cells in gastric MALT lymphoma tissues and may be aetiologically relevant to lymphomagenesis of MALT lymphoma.     

A preparation and polymorphic relations of sodium iron oxide (NaFeO2)

The formation of α-NaFeO₂ and β-NaFeO₂ below 700°C was found to depend strongly on the structure of starting iron oxide; α-Fe₂O₃ with hcp of oxygen yielded β-NaFeO₂ with hcp and γ-Fe₂O₃ with ccp of oxygen yielded α-NaFeO₂ with ccp by a reaction either with Na₂CO₃ or Na₂O₂. The doping of Na-ions into the γ-Fe₂O₃ structure and its rapid change to α-NaFeO₂ were observed. The transformation from the metastable β-NaFeO₂ to the stable α-form was very much sluggish in the solid state, but it was accelerated by the presence of the liquid Na₂O₂.
