This paper proposes a new advanced fabrication technology for a low-cost integrated-type a-Si solar cell. Integrated-type cells provide many advantages and have been industrialized with a laser patterning method. However, a higher throughput and more efficient patterning method was required for applying a-Si solar cells to a power generating system. Plasma CVM (Chemical Vaporization Machining) was first applied to advanced patterning because of its advantages of high speed and selectivity. In this method, a plasma generated under high pressure localizes near the wire electrode and concentrates reactive radicals. As a result, we achieved an etching rate of more than 1 μm/s and selective patterning of a 200 μm-wide a-Si layer in 1 s multiline patterning was also developed for large-area modules.  相似文献

The influence of alkylpyridines additive to an I/I3 redox electrolyte in acetonitrile on the performance of a bis(tetrabutylammonium)cis-bis(thiocyanato)bis(2,2′-bipyridine-4-carboxylic acid, 4′-carboxylate)ruthenium(II) dye-sensitized TiO2 solar cell was studied. IV measurements were performed using more than 30 different alkylpyridines. The alkylpyridine additives showed a significant influence on the performance of the cell. All the additives decreased the short-circuit photocurrent (Jsc), but most of the alkylpyridines increased the open-circuit photovoltage (Voc) and fill factor (ff) of the solar cell. The results of the molecular orbital calculations suggest that the dipole moment of the alkylpyridine molecules correlate with the Jsc of the cell. These results also suggest that both the size and ionization energy of pyridines correlate with the Voc of the cell. Under AM 1.5 (100 mW/cm2), the highest solar energy conversion efficiency (η) of 7.6% was achieved by using 2-propylpyridine as an additive, which was more effective than the previously reported additive, 4-t-butylpyridine.  相似文献

Ghosts and flares are well-known problems that are caused by reflections from lens surfaces when we take photographs. It is more difficult to prevent such stray light in a digital camera than in a film camera because of high reflectance from the low-pass filter and diffraction from the image sensor. To prevent such stray light, we introduce an ultralow refractive index layer into the antireflective (AR) coatings. We used the solgel method to form porous fluoride layers with ultralow refractive indices, and we succeeded in developing a unique process to form AR coatings with superior performance.  相似文献

Artemisia princeps is commonly used as a food ingredient and in traditional Asian medicine. In this study, we examined the effects of long-term administration of an ethanol extract of A. princeps (APE) on body weight, white adipose tissue, blood glucose, insulin, plasma and hepatic lipids, and adipocytokines in C57BL/6 mice fed a high-fat diet. Daily feeding of a 1% APE diet for 14 weeks normalized elevated body weight, white adipose tissue, and plasma glucose and insulin levels, and delayed impaired glucose tolerance in mice a fed high-fat diet. These events were not observed in mice fed a control diet containing 1% APE. Liver triglyceride and cholesterol levels were similar in mice fed a 1% APE-diet and those fed a control diet. In the high-fat diet groups, APE inhibited hepatic fatty acid synthase (FAS) and suppressed the elevation of plasma leptin, but had no effect on adiponectin levels. These findings suggest that the regulation of leptin secretion by APE may inhibit FAS activity with subsequent suppression of triglyceride accumulation in the liver and adipose tissues. Inhibition of lipid accumulation can, in turn, lead to improvements in impaired glucose tolerance.  相似文献

SF6 gas has excellent dielectric strength and interruption performance. For these reasons, it has been widely used for gas‐insulated switchgear (GIS). However, use of SF6 gas has become regulated under agreements set at the 1997 COP3. Thus, investigation and development for GIS with a lower amount of SF6 gas are being carried out worldwide. Presently, SF6‐free GIS has been commercialized for the 24‐kV class. Air or N2 gas is used as the insulation gas for this GIS. On the other hand, SF6‐free GIS has not been commercialized for the 72‐kV‐class GIS. The dielectric strengths of air and N2 gas are approximately one‐third that of SF6 gas. To enhance the insulation performance of air and N2 we have investigated a hybrid gas insulation system which has the combined features of providing an insulation coating and suitable insulation gas. We have developed the world's first 72‐kV SF6‐free GIS. This paper deals with key technologies for SF6‐free GIS, such as the hybrid insulation structure, a bellows for the high‐pressure vacuum circuit breaker, a newly designed disconnector and spacer, and prevention of particle levitation. Test results of the 72‐kV high‐pressure air‐insulated GIS with the vacuum circuit breaker are described. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We calculate the thermal conductivity of solid 3 He in U2D2 phase. In this system, magnons are the dominant heat carriers. The experiment by Feng et al. shows that scattering magnon by some kind of magnetic defects becomes important at low temperature. We suppose the defects are the magnetic plane defects (MPD) which are originated by lattice dislocation and calculate the thermal conductivity with Kapitza Resistance Model (KRM).  相似文献

Data mining using experimental data and information generated from theoretical calculations is proposed to study dye-sensitized solar cells, which are complex systems. This method led to new knowledge about the influence of imidazole derivatives as additives in an electrolytic solution on the cell performance. It was found that the solar energy conversion efficiency is strongly correlated to the Mulliken charge of the carbon atom at position 4 in the imidazole group. This result indicates that data mining assisted by theoretical calculations should facilitate the rate that cell performance is improved.  相似文献

Crystallographic quality and the lattice constant of ZnSe crystals grown from Te/ Se solutions by the temperature gradient solution growth method were evaluated by using a high resolution x-ray diffractometer. The full width at half maximum of the x-ray rocking curve was 5.7 sec, a value almost equivalent to that of GaAs. The distribution of crystallographic properties along the growth direction was nearly the same excepting just on the heat-sink. The accurate lattice constant of the ZnSe crystal measured by this system was 5.6700 ± 0.000025 A.  相似文献
