Argania spinosa press cake, kernels and hulls extracts are excellent corrosion inhibitors for steel. In this work electrochemical methods are used to study the inhibition of corrosion on steel in 1 M HCl. It has shown that Argan press cake, kernels and hulls extracts suppress both the anodic and cathodic process and they behave as mixed-type inhibitors. The inhibition efficiency was found to increase with inhibitors content. Data obtained from EIS measurements, were analyzed to model the corrosion inhibition process through appropriate equivalent circuit model; a constant phase element has been used. The values of the inhibition efficiency calculated from these techniques are in reasonably good agreement. The adsorption isotherm of natural compounds on the steel surface was found to obey Langmuir’s adsorption isotherm.  相似文献

Usability evaluation for interactive systems is one of the greatest interests for the Human–Computer Interaction community. To support this evaluation, several subjective and objective methods have been proposed and applied in academy and industry. In this context, usability evaluators usually work with a lot of and different kinds of data (e.g., ordinal values from questionnaires and performance rates) generated from different methods and tools and related to different usability criteria. In this article, we propose to integrate these data in a single way to better support the quality evaluators’ decision-making for traffic supervision systems domain. We apply the measurement information model defined by IEC/IEC 15939 with the use of indicators in an interactive system evaluation environment. Four indicators are presented from their specifications to their application in the evaluation of a system from a company. These indicators integrate evaluation results from usability questionnaires, an automated ergonomic guidelines inspector, and an electronic informer.  相似文献

In this article, evaluation-based widgets are proposed as a contribution to assist evaluators for early evaluation of user interfaces. This contribution imbricates the ergonomic quality evaluation process into widgets used for user-interface graphical composition. In other words, these widgets evaluate themselves according to a defined set of ergonomic guidelines. The proposed widgets indicate the possible interface design ergonomic inconsistencies as a notification to the designer. The guidelines set can be modified through an interface dedicated to guidelines definition into XML files. The proposed widgets are intended for the evaluation of different kind of user interfaces: WIMP, web, and mobile. An experimental evaluation, involving these evaluation-based widgets, is proposed to illustrate and to validate the approach.  相似文献

Simplified designs of milk yield recording based on the yield of a single monthly milking, adjusted or not for interval between milkings and for production level, were simulated and evaluated for 3173 ewe-test-day records belonging to 155 lactations of Churra dairy ewes. Losses of precision associated with simplified methods were evaluated by comparing estimated lactation yields with those observed both in a reference plan, where the two daily milkings were recorded at weekly intervals, and in the official A4 milk recording (monthly records of the two daily milkings). Estimates of lactation yields were less precise when the usual monthly designs were compared with a weekly sampling of both a.m. and p.m. milkings. The losses of precision were high at 9.4-36.2% including the A4 plan. The yield from only the milking period was more predictable than milk yield from the whole lactation (suckling and milking periods) and should consequently be adopted in dairy ewes. All options with one daily milking every month were more accurate when the corresponding plan was based on, or began with, the a.m. milking (loss of precision 14.9-15.8%). There was no evidence of improvement in sampling accuracy by adjusting for the preceding interval between milkings or production level. For practical and economic reasons, the design alternating a.m. and p.m. milkings every month, without adjustment, is suggested for ovine milk recording.  相似文献

Alternative process of sugar beet transformation is investigated by tuning experimental conditions. A three-step process has been set-up: (1) sugar beet cossettes pretreatment by pulsed electric field (PEF) and (or) short preheating to different temperatures; (2) extraction of juice from pre-treated cossettes by pressing; and (3) purification of the expressed juice by ultrafiltration. The PEF treatment was applied to cold (10 °C) and preheated (to 20, 50, 60, 70, and 80 °C) sugar beet cossettes with intensity of E?=?600 V cm?1 using rectangular monopolar pulses of 100 μs during t PEF?=?5–20 ms. Experiments were performed with cossettes of three sizes. Control experiments were done without PEF treatment using cold (10 °C) and preheated (to 20–80 °C) cossettes. PEF-treated and (or) preheated cossettes were pressed at 5 bars during 15 min. Afterward, expressed juices obtained from the PEF-treated cossettes at 20 °C and from the untreated ones at 80 °C were purified by dead-end ultrafiltration with stirring (500 rpm) at the temperature of 20 °C by using polyethersulfone membrane with MWCO of 30 kDa. Application of PEF (E?=?600 V cm?1, t PEF?=?10 ms, T?=?20 °C) with following pressing of cossettes at 5 bars during 15 min permits to obtain the juice yield Y?=?66,5 %, which is equivalent to that obtained from cossettes preheated to 80 °C and untreated electrically (Y?=?64 %). The energy consumption of cold PEF treatment (≈2–3 Wh/kg) is very attractive as compared to preheating at high temperatures (≈138–194 Wh/kg). Combination of thermal and electrical pretreatments leads to additional softening of sugar beet tissue and to a slightly higher (on 5–10 %) juice yield, but the electroporation of preheated cossettes is more energetically costly. The raw juice expressed from PEF-treated cossettes at 20 °C has higher purity (93.5 %) than juices expressed at 50 °C (92.9 %) and at 80 °C (92.3 %). The temperature increasing from 20 to 80 °C results in a higher juice coloration (5680 IU at 20 °C and 7820 IU at 80 °C) and leads to a higher (on about 35 %) colloids concentration in the expressed juice. The filtrate obtained from the juice expressed at 20 °C with PEF treatment has a higher purity (96 %) than the filtrate obtained from the juice expressed at 80 °C (95.3 %) and its coloration is considerably lower (330 IU versus 1930 IU). In addition, the quantity of proteins and colloids in the filtrate of juice expressed at 20 °C is lower than that in the filtrate of juice expressed at 80 °C  相似文献

It is known that the hydrogen has a very high mass energy density, in fact, that it is a lightest gas; therefore, its storage is a great problem. The aim of the hydrogen storage technologies is thus to reduce the volume that hydrogen occupies in its thermodynamically stable state under conditions close to ambient salt. Recent work on hydrogen storage is mainly based on the use of metal hydrides. These metal hydrides have a high capacity for the hydrogen storage in the operating conditions. The effecting parameters on the performance of such a metal-hydrogen reactor are its design and configuration. In this case, there are a number of problems that need to be considered in designing a reactor. Among these parameters are the reactor configuration, the thermal and the mechanical strength, the kinetics of hydrogen storage and the security. Our study is concentrated on the problem of the thermal and the mechanical strength while focusing on the nature of the metal makes the reactor. In this work, the experimental studies of the hydrogen absorption phenomenon in different reactors, based on metal hydrides, were evaluated. The characteristics of the reaction kinetics in three different reactors using the same measurement conditions were compared. A numerical model describing the reaction kinetic of the H2 absorption by LaNi5 alloy validates the results were obtained. Of these results, it is found that the rate constant varies from one reactor to another. Moreover, the activation energy of the absorption kinetics were identified.  相似文献

2D van der Waals magnetic semiconductors have emerged along with the possibilities of achieving an efficient gate tunability and a proximity effect with a high magnetic anisotropy compared with 3D counterparts. Little explored are multiple magnetic phases with a single crystallographic phase. Herein, the multiple magnetic phases in a Mn-doped SnS2 single crystal with different doping concentrations using a one-step self-flux method are reported. Two ferromagnetic phases with a canted spin direction exist regardless of the Mn-doping concentration at up to 5 at%. Antiferromagnetism coexists with the ferromagnetic order and strengthens at high Mn-doping concentrations. A magnetoresistance measurement conducted on a 2 at% Mn-SnS2 flake exhibits a positive-to-negative crossover with a value of as high as 50% and clear anisotropy, confirming the presence of ferromagnetic order in the material. By revealing multiple magnetic phases in Mn-doped SnS2, the study broadens the scope of state-of-the-art research on layered magnetic semiconductors.  相似文献
