An ordered dynamic channel assignment with reassignment (ODCAR) scheme is proposed, and its performance is studied in a highway microcellular radio environment. Channels are assigned in an ordered basis in conjunction with a minimax algorithm under cochannel interference constraints, to provide high capacity and to alleviate worst case channel congestion in each microcell. Simulation results show significant performance improvements in terms of channel utilization and probability of call failure, at the expense of an increase in complexity and call switching requirements  相似文献

It has been found that the subthreshold currents of fully depleted silicon-on-insulator (SOI) MOSFETs show a transient behavior under certain front-gate and back-gate voltage conditions. Growth of ultrathin (<100 Å) oxynitride on strained-Si using microwave N2O and NH3 plasma is reported. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) results indicate a nitrogen-rich layer at the strained-Si/SiO2 interface. The electrical properties of oxynitrides have been characterized using a metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) structure. A moderately low value of insulator charge density (6.1×1010 cm-2) has been obtained for NH3 plasma treated N2O oxide sample. Nitrided oxide shows a larger breakdown voltage and an improved charge trapping properties under Fowler-Nordheim (F-N) constant current stress  相似文献

A mixed-signal RAM decision-feedback equalizer (DFE) that operates at 90 Mb/s is described. In the analog domain, the DFE subtracts intersymbol interference caused by the past four outputs. The equalized signal is fed into a nonuniform flash analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to produce the decision output and error signal used to adapt the RAM contents in the digital domain. With a 5 V supply voltage, the power dissipation is 260 mW during steady-state operation. The active area is 4.5 mm2 in a 1 μm CMOS process  相似文献

The influence of the gaseous phase composition (SiH4 or SiCI4 diluted with argon or hydrogen), used for chemical vapor deposition of silicon onto two different substrates (pure iron or low chromium mild steel) is investigated. Depending on the chosen process, two types of coatings are developed: either a very adherent, non-porous solid solution containing up to 6 to 7 wt. % Si, or a Fe3Si iron silicide (14.35 wt. %). This solid solution coating considerably improves the oxidation resistance properties of steels at temperatures up to 800° C. This beneficial effect was not observed on the corrosion behavior of treated samples in sulfuric acid solutions. In contrast, the Fe3Si iron silicide has the same outstanding corrosion resistance that the silicon-rich cast alloys have in very severe environments such as boiling concentrated sulfuric acid. But this remarkable behavior is certainly limited in other mediums by the open porosity of the coating, inherent to the chemical vapor process.  相似文献

Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis separates several hundred protein molecules in one single experiment and is efficiently used to study the products expressed by different genomes. Low-copy-number gene products are invisible on a stained two-dimensional map and must be enriched such that sufficient amounts are present for visualization and identification. We investigated the enrichment of proteins of the bacterium Haemophilus influenzae by chromatography on immobilized heparin which has affinity for growth and protein biosynthesis factors. Total soluble proteins of the microorganism were fractionated on Heparin-Actigel which resulted in enrichment of approximately 160 proteins. The eluates, representing about 40% of the applied proteins, were analyzed by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and the protein spots were characterized by amino acid composition analysis and matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry. The proteins enriched by chromatography on the heparin gel were not exclusively low-copy-number gene products and they did not exclusively belong to one single class of proteins. The proteins that bound to the heparin gel are indicated in a two-dimensional protein map which includes more than 110 newly identified proteins.  相似文献

Different designs have demonstrated micrometer-level alignment accuracies, and the aligned structures are becoming more and more complex.
