Contrast enhancement is an important task in image processing that is commonly used as a preprocessing step to improve the images for other tasks such as segmentation. However, some methods for contrast improvement that work well in low-contrast regions affect good contrast regions as well. This occurs due to the fact that some elements may vanish. A method focused on images with different luminance conditions is introduced in the present work. The proposed method is based on morphological transformations by reconstruction and rational operations, which, altogether, allow a more accurate contrast enhancement resulting in regions that are in harmony with their environment. Furthermore, due to the properties of these morphological transformations, the creation of new elements on the image is avoided. The processing is carried out on luminance values in the u'v'Y color space, which avoids the creation of new colors. As a result of the previous considerations, the proposed method keeps the natural color appearance of the image.  相似文献

A novel technique for growing graphene on relatively inert metals, consisting in the thermal decomposition of low energy ethylene ions irradiated on hot metal surfaces in ultrahigh vacuum, is reported. By this route, we have grown graphene monolayers on Cu(111) and, for the first time, on Au(111) surfaces. For both noble metal substrates, but particularly for Au(111), our scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy measurements provide sound evidence of a very weak graphene-metal interaction.  相似文献

The use of non-toxic and low-cost vitamins like α-tocopherol (α-TCP, vitamin E) to improve the photophysical properties and stability of perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs), through post-synthetic ligand surface passivation, is demonstrated for the first time. Especially interesting is its effect on CsPbI3 the most unstable inorganic PNC. Adding α-TCP produces that the photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY) of freshly prepared and aged PNCs achieves values of ≈98% and 100%, respectively. After storing 2 months under ambient air and 60% relative humidity, PLQY is maintained at 85% and 67%, respectively. α-TCP restores the PL features of aged CsPbI3 PNCs, and mediates the radiative recombination channels by reducing surface defects. In addition, the combination of α-TCP and PNCs facilitates the chemical formulation to prepare PNCs-acrylic polymer composites processable by additive manufacturing. This enables the development of complex shaped parts with improved luminescent features and long-term stability for 4 months, which is not possible for non-modified PNCs. A PLQY ≈92% is reached in the 3D printed polymer/PNC composite, the highest value obtained for a red-emitting composite solid until now as far as it is known. The passivation shell provided by α-TCP makes that PNCs inks do not suffer any degradation process avoiding the contact with the environment and preserve their properties after reacting with polar monomers during composite polymerization.  相似文献

In the last seven decades, the method of moments (MoM) has become an invaluable tool in the field of polymerization reaction engineering, due to the simplicity of translating a complex set of population balance equations (PBE) into a system with a limited number of equations. In this work, we offer an overview of the MoM, describing the derivation of the moment equations in a basic kinetic mechanism. Some tools and strategies for the derivation of the moment equations are reviewed and explained in detail, such as the binomial theorem, the method of series expansion and pattern identification (SEPI), extensively used by the community, and a graphical approach of summation inversion. The treatment for multivariate distributions is also exposed, taking advantage of the complete and partial moment techniques. The derivation of the MoM contribution by kinetic mechanisms beyond the basic ones or involving special difficulties, such as depropagation, long chain branching (LCB), random chain scission, LCB and β-scission, short chain branching (SCB) and scission, internal double bond (IDB) (polymerization), termination by combination, reversible deactivation radical polymerization (RDRP), and intermolecular transesterification reactions (ITRs), are explained in a tutorial way. Additionally, the fundamentals of the MoM in copolymerization and the application of the pseudo-homopolymerization approach are briefly described. An introduction of the MoM to emulsion polymerization is also presented. Finally, some advanced applications of MoM in recent works are exposed: MoM models with chain-length dependent or diffusion-controlled termination, and the extension of the MoM for the prediction of the molecular weight distribution (MWD ) .  相似文献

Future components to enhance the basic, native security of 5G networks are either complex mechanisms whose impact in the requiring 5G communications are not considered, or lightweight solutions adapted to ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC) but whose security properties remain under discussion. Although different 5G network slices may have different requirements, in general, both visions seem to fall short at provisioning secure URLLC in the future. In this work we address this challenge, by introducing cost-security functions as a method to evaluate the performance and adequacy of most developed and employed non-native enhanced security mechanisms in 5G networks. We categorize those new security components into different groups according to their purpose and deployment scope. We propose to analyze them in the context of existing 5G architectures using two different approaches. First, using model checking techniques, we will evaluate the probability of an attacker to be successful against each security solution. Second, using analytical models, we will analyze the impact of these security mechanisms in terms of delay, throughput consumption, and reliability. Finally, we will combine both approaches using stochastic cost-security functions and the PRISM model checker to create a global picture. Our results are first evidence of how a 5G network that covers and strengthened all security areas through enhanced, dedicated non-native mechanisms could only guarantee secure URLLC with a probability of ∼55%.  相似文献

Furan-based amines are highly valuable compounds which can be directly obtained via reductive amination from easily accessible furfural, 5-(hydroxymethyl)furfural (HMF) and 2,5-diformylfuran (DFF). Herein the biocatalytic amination of these carbonyl derivatives is disclosed using amine transaminases (ATAs) and isopropylamine (IPA) as amine donors. Among the different biocatalysts tested, the ones from Chromobacterium violaceum (Cv-TA), Arthrobacter citreus (ArS-TA), and variants from Arthrobacter sp. (ArRmut11-TA) and Vibrio fluvialis (Vf-mut-TA), afforded high levels of product formation (>80 %) at 100–200 mM aldehyde concentration. The transformations were studied in terms of enzyme and IPA loading. The pH influence was found as a key factor and attributed to the imine/aldehyde equilibrium that can arise from the high reactivity of the carbonyl substrates with a nucleophilic amine such as IPA.  相似文献
