For the given observations set of the ARMA (autoregressive moving average) process, the likelihood function depends, not only on model parameters, but on the starting values of the input and output. Therefore, it is called theconditional likelihood function. Theunconditional likelihood function can be obtained in two ways. The first is to set the starting values to zero, as is often done, and the second is to set them to the properly estimated values. The difference between these two types of likelihood functions is significant when the given data sequence is short, and any of the zeros of the moving average part is close to the boundary of the unit circle.In this paper the direct method of starting value estimation and its application to two off-line ARMA estimation algorithms, the maximum likelihood (ML) algorithm and the iterative inverse filtering (ITIF) algorithm, is proposed. Experimental results prove both increased efficiency and stability of these algorithms.The importance of setting the starting values properly is also significant when the recursive algorithm, with previously estimated parameters, has to be restarted. The advantage of the proposed reinitialization method is shown on the recursive lattice algorithm working in the block mode.  相似文献

The effect of reaction temperature, mixing speed and oxidant to catalyst volume ratio, including their interactions on the oxidative desulfurization of dibenzothiophene by using response surface methodology was studied. Hydrogen peroxide was used as oxidant and acetic acid as catalyst. The obtained model accurately predicts conversion of dibenzothiophene and the best conversion of 98.7% was observed at temperature 70°C, mixing speed of 1250 rpm and oxidant to catalyst volume ratio of 1:1. At high temperatures, a major limitation of the desulfurization process is the mass transfer and the high mixing speed is needed to achieve an efficient process.  相似文献

Recently the FCC opened three 10 MHz bands for unlicensed use. In order to operate in UPCS bands, devices must comply with rules known as the UPCS etiquette (United States Code of Federal Regulations, Title 47, Part 15(d)). In this paper we study channel sharing between two or more collocated systems under the asynchronous UPCS etiquette. In particular we show that under heavy load individual systems have a tendency to hold the channel for hundreds of milliseconds, thus blocking all traffic in other, competing systems. We have calculated the distribution of the blocking time for two versions (or interpretations) of the UPCS etiquette. The impact of the average blocking time on delay sensitive traffic is discussed and possible improvements achieved through a tradeoff between system capacity and average blocking time are investigated. Supramolecular gels consisting of trivalent polyisobutylene and bivalent poly(ethylene oxide) are generated. Strong hydrogen bonding interactions, affixed to the end‐group moieties of the respective polymers (binding constant Kassn = 105 M –1), serve as molecular glue, leading to the formation of weak gels. Two different gels were prepared: one, with a short telechelic poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) segment (gel A), and one with a longer PEG segment (number‐average molecular weight Mn = 2000 g mol–1) (gel B). Both gels show a significant increase in viscosity upon mixing of the two polymeric components, with a lag time of several minutes, indicative of nucleation mechanisms as the formation principle. However, only gel A displays classical gel‐like behavior, with a loss modulus G′ larger than the storage modulus G″ after formation. Both gels display microphase‐separated behavior with a spacing between 4–5 nm as probed via small‐angle X‐ray scattering (SAXS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) measurements. The incorporation of magnetic nanoparticles (Fe2O3; radius r = 3.5 nm) is successfully achieved, generating new magnetic gels with strongly thermoresponsive properties, displaying a strong temperature‐dependent release profile of included dye molecules. Magnetic measurements indicate a superparamagnetic behavior of the incorporated nanoparticles, prospecting the application as magneto‐sensitive delivery gels for pharmaceutical purposes.  相似文献

We introduce a high resolution molecular jet (MoJet) printing technique for vacuum deposition of evaporated thin films and apply it to fabrication of 30 μm pixelated (800 ppi) molecular organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) based on aluminum tris(8‐hydroxyquinoline) (Alq3) and fabrication of narrow channel (15 μm) organic field effect transistors (OFETs) with pentacene channel and silver contacts. Patterned printing of both organic and metal films is demonstrated, with the operating properties of MoJet‐printed OLEDs and OFETs shown to be comparable to the performance of devices fabricated by conventional evaporative deposition through a metal stencil. We show that the MoJet printing technique is reconfigurable for digital fabrication of arbitrary patterns with multiple material sets and high print accuracy (of better than 5 μm), and scalable to fabrication on large area substrates. Analogous to the concept of “drop‐on‐demand” in Inkjet printing technology, MoJet printing is a “flux‐on‐demand” process and we show it capable of fabricating multi‐layer stacked film structures, as needed for engineered organic devices.  相似文献

Parasitic analog-digital noise coupling has been identified as a key issue facing designers of mixed-signal integrated circuits. In particular, signal crosstalk through the common chip substrate has become increasingly problematic. This paper demonstrates a methodology for developing simulation, synthesis, and verification models to analyze the global electrical behavior of the non-ideal semiconductor substrate. First, a triangular discretization method is employed to generate RC equivalent-circuit substrate models which are far less complex than those formulated by conventional techniques. The networks are then accurately approximated for subsequent analysis by an efficient reduction algorithm which uses a well-conditioned Lanczos moment-matching process. Through congruence transformations, the network admittance matrices are transformed to reduced equivalents which are easily post-processed to derive passive, SPICE-compatible netlist representations of the reduced models. The pure-RC properties of the extracted substrate networks are fully exploited to formulate an efficient overall algorithm. For validation, the strategy has been successfully applied to several mixed-signal circuit examples.  相似文献

Understanding energy transport in metal halide perovskites is essential to effectively guide further optimization of materials and device designs. However, difficulties to disentangle charge carrier diffusion, photon recycling, and photon transport have led to contradicting reports and uncertainty regarding which mechanism dominates. In this study, monocrystalline CsPbBr3 nanowires serve as 1D model systems to help unravel the respective contribution of energy transport processes in metal-halide perovskites. Spatially, temporally, and spectrally resolved photoluminescence (PL) microscopy reveals characteristic signatures of each transport mechanism from which a robust model describing the PL signal accounting for carrier diffusion, photon propagation, and photon recycling is developed. For the investigated CsPbBr3 nanowires, an ambipolar carrier mobility of μ = 35 cm2 V−1 s−1 is determined, and is found that charge carrier diffusion dominates the energy transport process over photon recycling. Moreover, the general applicability of the developed model is demonstrated on different perovskite compounds by applying it to data provided in previous related reports, from which clarity is gained as to why conflicting reports exist. These findings, therefore, serve as a useful tool to assist future studies aimed at characterizing energy transport mechanisms in semiconductor nanowires using PL.  相似文献

Contents A high accuracy instrument for reactive power and reactive energy measurements in a single phase power network is described in the paper. The measurement principle is in accordance with IEC recommendation. Test results show that in the range of 1 to 100% of the input current the accuracy of the meter is better than 100 ppm for frequency variations of ±5% around the nominal frequency. The instrument could be used as a single-phase reactive power and reactive energy standard. A three phase version of the instrument could be used as a standard or as a revenue meter because of its high accuracy, simple design and anticipated low cost.
Ein Meßgerät höher Präzision zur Blindleistungs- und Blindverbrauchsmessung
Übersicht In diesem Artikel wird ein Meßgerätu zur Blindleistungs- und Blindenergiemessung in Einphasen-Wechselstromnetzen beschrieben. Das Meßprinzip stimmt mit der Vorschrift der IEC überein. Die Meßergebnisse zeigen, daß im Bereich von 1 bis 100% des Eingangsstroms bei Frequenzvariationen von ±5% von der Nennfrequenz die Meßfehler des Gerätes kleiner als 0.01% sind. Das Meßgerät könnte als ein Normal für Blindleistungs- und Blindenergievergleichsmessungen in Einphasensystemen verwendet werden. Eine Dreiphasenversion dieses Meßgerätes könnte wegen seiner hohen Genauigkeit und des einfachen und preiswerten Aufbaus als ein Normal oder als Verbrauchsmeßgerät für die Kostenberechnung benutzt werden.

Electrolytically grown hydrous oxide films on iridium wire electrodes have been thermally treated from 473 to 773 K. Anhydrous oxide films formed by this treatment have been subjected to cathodic polarization at the potential of the hydrogen evolution reaction, square-wave pulsing of potential from –0.25 to +1.25 V with respoect to SCE and to anodic galvanostatic polarization in 0.5 mol dm–3 H2SO4. Cathodic pretreatment caused an increase of the voltammetric charge in the oxide formation region while the square-wave pulsing formed a hydrous oxide film whose voltammetric charge was superimposed on the charge of the anhydrous oxide film. Both procedures restored the hydrophilic nature of the electrode/solution interface. Potential-time curves during anodic galvanostatic polarization served as a diagnostic criterion for the stability and the state of the oxide film.  相似文献
