Reactions of polymer formation and crosslinking become diffusion controlled when, during the reaction, the increasing glass transition temperature Tg comes close to the reaction temperature, the reaction still goes on below Tg but the reaction rate decreases steeply. A theory is presented relating the apparent rate constant to the difference between the reaction temperature and Tg based on the free volume or the Adam-Gibbs theory of glass transition. The theory is correlated with experiments on curing of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A with 1,3-propanediamine. The implications for formation of protective films chemically crosslinked are discussed. The presence of a solvent and its evaporation affects the reaction rate through a change in concentrations of reactants as well as in Tg.  相似文献

A rapid, simple and reliable method is described for the preparation of concentrates of methyl or ethyl esters of n−3 polyunsaturated fatty acids by solid phase extraction using aminopropyl bonded silica columns. After applying mixtures of fatty acid esters in hexane, saturated and monounsaturated fatty acid esters are preferentially eluted with hexane whereas polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) can subsequently be eluted with dichloromethane. Concentrates containing 80–90% n−3 PUFA can thus be obtained using fish oil fatty acids esters as a starting material.  相似文献

The standardised structure of cost items for decommissioning was issues jointly by OECD/NEA, IAEA and European Commission in 1999 for promoting of harmonisation in decommissioning costing. The computer code OMEGA, developed recently by the company DECOM, a.s. in Slovakia, implements this standardised structure of cost items as the base of an universal cost calculation structure for evaluation and optimisation of cost, exposure and other parameters for decommissioning options. The paper focuses on selected modules of the code which were developed for modelling of dismantling of systems, decontamination of building surfaces and demolition of structures. Evaluation of these activities is one of the most important tasks to be done prior to performance of decommissioning activities. Selection of proper techniques for these activities depends on category of the item to be dismantled, decontaminated or demolished (material composition, construction, type of building surface, etc.), local radiological conditions (dose rate, contamination), local working conditions (constraints), and other factors. Local radiological conditions and pre-defined limits of dose rate determine the selection of manual or remote techniques. Dismantling, decontamination of building surfaces and demolition activities include also set of preparatory and finishing activities. Extent of these auxiliary activities varies when performed within or outside of the controlled area and/or when performed manually or remote. Paper presents the approach for selection of the techniques for decommissioning activities and extent of auxiliary activities which was implemented in the OMEGA code, using the standardised cost structure as the cost calculation structure.  相似文献

This two-part paper is concerned with the analysis and achievement of human-like behavior by robot arms (manipulators). The analysis involves three issues: (i) the resolution of the inverse kinematics problem of redundant robots, (ii) the separation of the end-effector's motion into two components, i.e. the smooth (low accelerated) component and the fast (accelerated) component, and (iii) the fatigue of the motors (actuators) of the robot joints. In the absence of the fatigue, the human-like performance is achieved by using the partitioning of the robot joints into “smooth” and “accelerated” ones (called distributed positioning—DP). The actuator fatigue is represented by the so-called “virtual fatigue” (VF) concept. When fatigue starts, the human-like performance is achieved by engaging more the joints (motors) that are less fatigued, as does the human arm. Part I of the paper provides the theoretical issues of the above approach, while Part II applies it to the handwriting task and provides extensive simulation results that support the theoretical expectations.  相似文献

New algorithms for identification of a balanced state space representation are proposed. They are based on a procedure for the estimation of impulse response and sequential zero input responses directly from data. The proposed algorithms are more efficient than the existing alternatives that compute the whole Hankel matrix of Markov parameters. It is shown that the computations can be performed on Hankel matrices of the input-output data of various dimensions. By choosing wider matrices, we need persistency of excitation of smaller order. Moreover, this leads to computational savings and improved statistical accuracy when the data is noisy. Using a finite amount of input-output data, the existing algorithms compute finite time balanced representation and the identified models have a lower bound on the distance to an exact balanced representation. The proposed algorithm can approximate arbitrarily closely an exact balanced representation. Moreover, the finite time balancing parameter can be selected automatically by monitoring the decay of the impulse response. We show what is the optimal in terms of minimal identifiability condition partition of the data into “past” and “future”.  相似文献

Integration of the two best-known quality management models for software production and maintenance, the Capability Maturity Model and the ISO 9001 Model (including ISO 9000-3) is of great interest for both the European and the American software market. The definition of a quality management model which would conform to the requirements of both models and use the advantages of each was a key goal of our research work within the project PROCESSUS.1 Research work was conducted in two steps: first, the detailed comparison of both models was made in order to define their common issues and specifics of each model, and secondly, the integrated model based on the results of the comparison was defined. In this paper the comparison method and results are described. Further, a method for the integration and a framework of the integrated model are presented. The core of our work is actually the content of the integrated model. Due to extensive content of the integrated model examples of some parts only are given in the appendix. The integrated model presented in this paper has already been successfully used in organizations which are cooperating in the project PROCESSUS o these organizations achieved the needed maturity for certification to the ISO 9001 standard and a maturity level near level 3 of CMM.  相似文献

Lysozyme is used in cheese manufacture in order to prevent blowing in cheeses caused by Clostridium tyrobutyricum. Being an egg derivative, the presence of lysozyme must be included on the label for residual allergenic risk (2003/89/CE). The aim of this study was to evaluate the presence of lysozyme on proteic profiles of typical Italian cheeses such as Grana Padano through surface-enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry. The proteolytic activity of ripening (from 0 to 24 months), confirmed by a decrease in casein, did not influence the intensity of lysozyme peaks. Furthermore, ripened Grana Padano cheese could be differentiated on mass profiling from immature Grana Padano by the presence of particular signals that are probably related to casein proteolysis.  相似文献

We hypothesized that substituting a corn hybrid with high cell-wall content and high neutral detergent fiber (NDF) digestibility (HCW) for a hybrid with lower cell-wall content and lower NDF digestibility (LCW) would improve feed intake and milk production in lactating Holstein cows. There was a 3.6 percentage unit difference in NDF content and a 4.1 percentage unit difference in 30-h in vitro NDF digestion between the 2 corn hybrids. In trial 1, 40 cows (12 primiparous) ranging in milk production from 24.1 to 44.0 kg/d, following a 2-wk preliminary period, were used in a crossover design with 2-wk periods. Diets consisted of 45% corn silage (HCW or LCW), 10% alfalfa hay, and 45% concentrates. The DMI (25.4 vs. 24.2 kg/d) and 4% FCM yield (34.3 vs. 31.7 kg/d) were higher for cows fed the HCW diet compared with the LCW diet. When HCW was substituted for LCW on a DM basis, there was no relationship between pretrial milk yield (preliminary period) and subsequent response to HCW silage. In trial 2, 40 cows (8 primiparous) ranging in milk production from 20.6 to 49.0 kg/d, following a 2-wk preliminary period, were used in a crossover design with 2-wk periods. Diets consisted of the same LCW diet as trial 1 and a diet containing HCW at a concentration (40% of DM) that resulted in equal NDF content (30.8%) between the 2 diets (HCWN). The DMI (26.8 kg/d) was unaffected by diet, although there was a trend for greater DMI (% of BW) for cows fed the HCWN diet compared with LCW silage (4.24 vs. 4.12). Milk fat (3.91 vs. 3.79%) and 4% FCM yield (34.9 vs. 33.4 kg/d) were greater for cows fed HCWN vs. LCW diet. When HCW was substituted for LCW silage on an NDF basis, cows with greater milk production during the preliminary period had a greater milk response to HCW than lower-producing cows. Results of these trials supported our hypothesis that HCW corn silage results in greater DMI and milk yield than LCW silage, whether substitution occurs on a DM or NDF basis.  相似文献

Thirty-eight midlactating Holstein cows averaging 597 kg of body weight (SD = 59) were used to determine the effects of dietary flaxseed on protein requirement and N excretion in urine and feces. Milk yield and composition, intake, and digestibility were also determined. Cows were allotted from wk 20 to 30 of lactation to 1 of 4 TMR containing 1) no flaxseed (control) and 16% protein (MPC), 2) whole flaxseed and 16% protein (MPF), 3) no flaxseed (control) and 18% protein (HPC), and 4) whole flaxseed and 18% protein (HPF). Cows fed high protein diets had greater feed intake than those fed medium protein diets (20.2 vs. 18.4 kg/d), and cows fed no flaxseed had greater dry matter intake than those fed flaxseed (20.1 vs. 18.5 kg/d). Milk yield was lower for cows fed MPF (20.3 kg/d) than for those fed HPC (24.4 kg/d), HPF (24.9 kg/d), or MPC (24.0 kg/d). Milk protein and lactose concentrations were similar for cows fed MPC and HPC, but flaxseed decreased milk protein concentration in cows fed MPF or HPF compared with cows fed the control diets. Milk fat concentration was similar in cows fed diets with or without flaxseed, but it was decreased by higher protein concentration. Digestibility was generally reduced when diets contained flaxseed and lower protein concentration. Dietary protein had no effect while dietary flaxseed increased fecal N excretion. Retention of N was lower in cows fed flaxseed compared with cows fed the control diets. Feeding flaxseed decreased milk concentrations of short- and medium-chain fatty acids and increased those of long-chain fatty acids. Flaxseed had no effect on the dietary requirement of N by midlactating dairy cows.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to determine the content of free amino acids (FAA) and their ratio in ewe's milk cheese from the island Krk during its ripening. FAA content was determined by reversed phase HPLC (RP‐HPLC) of cheese aqueous/ethanol extracts after FAA were transformed into their 6‐aminoquinolyl‐N‐hydroxysuccinimidyl carbamate derivatives. Their concentration increased during ripening, reaching the value of 5% in cheese dry matter. The dominant FAA were glutamic acid>leucine>valine>aspartic acid>phenylalanine>serine>proline, and higher content of nonessential vs essential FAA was revealed. Krk cheese has, in relation to other cheeses, higher values for glutamic acid/leucine, glutamic acid/phenylalanine, glutamic acid/proline and smaller values for leucine/aspartic acid, valine/aspartic acid, phenylalanine/aspartic acid ratios, while other ratios are comparable to those of other hard ovine cheeses.  相似文献
