The influence of morphology of the epoxy/poly(?‐caprolactone) (PCL) system and corresponding nanocomposites with organophilized layered silicate on PCL crystallization was studied by differential scanning calorimetry, scanning, and transmission electron microscopy. The results obtained indicate a significant affecting of nonisothermal PCL crystallization by phase morphology brought about by the reaction‐induced phase separation (RIPS) influenced either by various nanoclay contents or the epoxy/PCL ratio. Dispersed morphology of PCL matrix with epoxy globules induces crystallization at higher temperatures. The inverse dispersed morphology of epoxy matrix with PCL inclusions causes crystallization at lower temperature. The co‐continuous morphology induces crystallization in both steps. Rate of the second crystallization step is substantially higher than that in the first step. No nucleation effect has been found in the nanocomposites with the added nanofiller. Multicomponent samples show retarded crystallization, i.e., lower crystallinities and lower overall crystallization rate compared with neat PCL. The results obtained suggest that it is primarily morphological/interfacial effects that play a decisive role in the crystallization behavior of PCL in the epoxy/PCL/clay system. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper presents an analysis of the axial thrust of axial flow high-speed impellers under a turbulent regime of flow of an agitated liquid. The axial thrust is calculated from the measured total axial force affecting the cylindrical fully baffled mixing vessel and from the radial profile of the axial component of the ensemble-averaged mean velocity in the impeller discharge stream. The results of experimentally determined values of the dimensionless criteria (thrust number and momentum number) are successfully compared with the axial thrust of the pitched blade impellers calculated from the theoretically predicted simplified radial profiles of the axial component of the mean velocity in the impeller discharge stream.  相似文献

Abstract

Beech wood has a high frequency of defects such as red heartwood, reaction wood (tension wood). For the experimental measurements four logs without visible defects like red heartwood, which can noticeably affects the measurements' results were qualified. The drying medium temperature in the first phase of the process before the moisture content of the specimens fell below the FSP was maintained at 45?°C. Then, the temperature was gradually increased to the maximum value 65?°C. The results showed that different initial wood moisture content does not affect to final value of tension and normal wood. The colorimetric parameter L* was much higher for tension wood. After steaming, there were greater differences in the colorimetric parameters, respectively, a* and b*. After drying the difference of all colorimetric parameters between tension and normal wood was significantly less. The color changes were only noticed in the surface layers of specimens. Differences were small, and thus, the impact of the tension wood on the color changes was not confirmed. However, since the lightness of tension wood plays a key role for its visual detection, it may be adequate to only measure the lightness parameter (L*).  相似文献

Extraction of ground spruce sapwood with pressurized hot water in an accelerated solvent extractor (ASE) at 170°C during 20, 60, and 100 min resulted in isolation of galactoglucomannans and aromatic substances, including lignin. The isolated lignin preparations were characterized by spectrometric (UV, FT-IR, 1H NMR, liquid and solid-state 13C NMR), chromatographic (RP-HPLC, HP-SEC, GC-FID, and GC-MS), conventional pyrolysis, thermally assisted hydrolysis, and methylation techniques in tandem with GC-MS, and classical wet chemistry (methoxyl groups, total and phenolic hydroxyl groups, derivatization followed by reductive cleavage—DFRC). The content of β-O-4 bonds in isolated lignins was similar to that in MWL and their proportion decreased with extraction time. The oxidation of isolated lignins and content of total hydroxyl groups were significantly increased with extraction time. The lignin structure underwent condensation and demethylation reactions during hot-water extraction. The induction of new phenylcoumaran substructures was proposed in isolated lignins.  相似文献

Abstract

Recently three methods for calculating the π-electron content of rings of benzenoid hydrocarbons were put forward: one based on the consideration of Kekuléstructural formulas, and the other two based on an analogous treatment of the Clar aromatic sextet formulas. These three methods are applied to the homologous series consisting of two condensed acene chains (whose first members are pyrene, anthanthrene, peri-naphthacenonaphthacene, …), leading to basically identical results. In contrast to acenes (in which the partition of π-electrons into rings is uniform), in the double-hexagonal-chain species the partition of π-electrons is highly non-uniform. The electron content monotonically decreases, in opposite directions, along the two acene chains, being maximal in the least annelated rings. Some other generally valid regularities in the π-electron properties of the double–hexagonal–chain benzenoids are also pointed out.  相似文献

Cyclic conjugation in corannulene and its benzo-derivatives is studied by means of the π-electron contents and the energy effects of individual rings, with particular attention to the structural effects influencing the magnitude of cyclic conjugation in the 5-membered ring. Two main general regularities were observed: (a) the PCP effect (6-membered rings connected by a single bond to the 5-membered ring increase in it the intensity of cyclic conjugation), and (b), the linear effect (6-membered rings separated from the 5-membered ring by another 6-membered ring, but not in PCP constellation, decrease the magnitude of cyclic conjugation in the 5-membered ring).  相似文献

Preparation of Ba0.85Ca0.15Zr0.1Ti0.9O3 (BCZT) lead‐free piezoelectric ceramics with different amounts of LiF (BCZT‐xLiF) was done, and the effects of the LiF doping on the phase transition behavior and the electrical properties of the resulting ceramic were investigated. The experimental results showed that the polymorphic rhombohedral‐tetragonal phase transition temperature was found shifted toward room temperature with the Li doping. The study showed that BCZT lead‐free piezoelectric ceramic with improved performance properties at room temperature can be achieved by shifting the polymorphic phase transition point nearer room temperature through the addition of LiF.  相似文献

Nanosized powders of La0.80Sr0.20Fe0.95Cu0.05O3?w were investigated in terms of structural, morphological, chemical and surface properties by using several characterization techniques. The XPS and IR measurements showed the presence of surface hydroxide and carbonates species. After calcination of the powders at 900 °C the amount of carbonates decreased but was still significant. The sensing activity of thick film based on La0.80Sr0.20Fe0.95Cu0.05O3?w was tested as a function of relative humidity and the results indicate that (i) after one year of ambient storage the sensing material lost quite completely its sensitivity to humidity, (ii) the sensing activity of the film was mostly re-activated after a thermal treatment at 900 °C for 2 h, and (iii) the huge shift of the detection limit to low RH caused by the presence of 5 mol% Cu is also restored.  相似文献

Abstract

A fully-naphthalenoid hydrocarbon (FUN) is a benzenoid hydrocarbon whose all π-electrons can be (formally) grouped into disjoint naphthalene-units. The cyclic conjugation in FUNs is studied by means of the energy-effects of their various cycles. It is found that the dominant conjugation modes in FUNs are those involving the 6- and 10-membered cycles of the “full” naphthalene fragments. The cycles belonging to the “empty” domains of a FUN have significantly smaller energy-effects.  相似文献

Abstract

Cyclic conjugation is studied in Hückel and Möbius cyclacenes as well as in a few other related open-chain and cyclic belt-shaped hydrocarbons (e.g., zig-zag cyclarenes). the main conclusions are that (a) the energy effect of the conjugation along the perimeter of cyclacenes is relatively large, (b) conjugation along the 6 -, 10 - and 14-membered cycles has a much greater effect, in spite of the fact that these cycles embrace bonds that formally are not involved in cyclic conjugation. Möbius cyclacenes are non-alternant hydrocarbons and their odd-cycles have a significant contribution to conjugation. the contribution of conjugation in individual cycles to the total resonance energy is briefly discussed.  相似文献
