A direct printing method for fabricating devices by using metal oxide transfer layers instead of conventional transfer media such as polydimethylsiloxane is presented. Metal oxides are not damaged by organic solvents; therefore, electrodes with gaps less than 2 μm can be defined on a metal oxide transfer layer through photolithography. In order to determine a suitable metal oxide for use as transfer layer, the surface energies of various metal oxides are measured, and Au layers deposited on these oxides are transferred onto polyvinylphenol (PVP). To verify the feasibility of our approach, Au source–drain electrodes on transfer layers and Si nanowires (NWs) addressed by the dielectrophoretic (DEP) alignment process are transferred onto rigid and flexible PVP‐coated substrates. Based on transfer test and DEP process, Al2O3 is determined to be the best transfer layer. Finally, Si NWs field effect transistors (FETs) are fabricated on a rigid Si substrate and a flexible polyimide film. As the channel length decreases from 3.442 to 1.767 μm, the mobility of FET on the Si substrate increases from 127.61 ± 37.64 to 181.60 ± 23.73 cm2 V?1 s?1. Furthermore, the flexible Si NWs FETs fabricated through this process show enhanced electrical properties with an increasing number of bending cycles.  相似文献

Experimental and numerical studies have been done to examine the effects of excess air ratio and tertiary air swirl number on the formation characteristics of NO in a pilot scale combustor adopting a multi-air staged burner. In numerical calculation the mathematical models for turbulence, radiation and nitric oxide chemistry were taken into account. The radiative transfer equation was solved using the discrete ordinates method with the weighted sum of gray gases model. In the NO chemistry model, the chemical reaction rates for thermal and prompt NO were statistically averaged using a probability density function. The results were validated by comparison with measurements. For the experiment, a 0.2 MW pilot multi-staged air burner has been designed and fabricated. Using the numerical simulation developed here, a variation of thermal and prompt NO formation was predicted by changing the excess air ratio and tertiary air swirl number. As the excess air ratio increased up to 1.9, the formation of the total as well as thermal NO at exit increased while the prompt NO decreased. The formation of thermal NO was more affected by concentration of O2 and N2 than gas temperature. When the tertiary air swirl number increased, the formation of the total as well as the prompt NO slightly decreased because of enhanced mixing of fuel and oxygen in the upstream reaction zone and reduced gas temperature at exit.  相似文献

Autohydrolysis is a simple, green method of recovering sugars from biomass, using only hot water. One potential drawback is that byproducts are formed during the autohydrolysis process that could interfere with subsequent hydrolysis and fermentation to ethanol. In the present work, autohydrolysis prehydrolyzate from mixed hardwood chips was detoxified with activated carbon and the removal efficiency of byproducts as well as the loss of sugars determined. The resulting detoxified prehydrolyzate was evaluated for the fermentation to ethanol with a thermophilic anaerobic bacterium. Activated carbon at a 2.5 wt % level on the prehydrolyzate was able to remove 42% of formic acid, 14% of acetic acid, 96% of hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) and 93% of the furfural. However, 8.9% of sugars were also removed. The removal of HMF and furfural follow expected adsorption isotherms but formic acid, acetic acid, and sugars did not. Autohydrolysis prehydrolyzates from mixed hardwood detoxified with activated carbon can be fermented with Thermoanaerobacterium saccharolyticum strain MO1442 with an essentially 100% yield. T. saccharolyticum strain MO1442 is able to metabolize the glucose, xylose, and arabinose in the hydrolyzate. The results showed the detoxification process with activated carbon improved the ethanol yields by the removal of toxic compounds, mainly HMF and furfural, with moderate loss of fermentable sugars.  相似文献

This study presents an emulation method to evaluate the control performance of a hydronic radiant heating system. Since heat output in the system is dependent on the pressure loss and flow rate in the hydronic network, the interaction between thermal and hydronic models needs to be considered in the evaluation of the control performance. For this reason, many studies apply an integrated simulation to the evaluation; however, the analysis of the hydronic network sometimes leads to unreliable results due to the improper initial values for algebraic loops or the lack of modeling information on the hydronic components. In order to deal with this problem, this study suggests an emulation method, where the hydronic network is replaced by real hardware and the building physics is analyzed by a simulation. In the emulation, the pressure loss and flow rate in the hydronic network were represented by replacing the real pipe with equivalent hydraulic resistance. In addition, by using real control systems that connect the hydronic network and building simulation, the interaction between building physics and hydronic network could be considered in the evaluation. Based on the proposed emulation method, the performance of several control strategies was evaluated in terms of the accuracy and the rise time. The result shows that the individual control needs to be combined with hydronic balancing for more accurate control. Hydronic control devices such as a flow limit valve and a pressure differential control valve also proved to be helpful to the improvement of the control performance.  相似文献

Although tissue-type plasminogen activator was approved by the FDA for early reperfusion of occluded vessels, there is a need for an effective neuroprotective drug for stroke patients. In this study, we established tumor susceptibility gene (TSG)101-overexpressing human neural stem cells (F3.TSG) and investigated whether they showed enhanced secretion of exosomes and whether treatment with exosomes during reperfusion alleviated ischemia-reperfusion-mediated brain damage. F3.TSG cells secreted higher amounts of exosomes than the parental F3 cells. In N2A cells subjected to oxygen–glucose deprivation (OGD), treatment with exosomes or coculture with F3.TSG cells significantly attenuated lactate dehydrogenase release, the mRNA expression of proinflammatory factors, and the protein expression of DNA-damage-related proteins. In a middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) rat model, treatment with exosomes, F3 cells, or F3.TSG cells after 2 h of occlusion followed by reperfusion reduced the infarction volume and suppressed inflammatory cytokines, DNA-damage-related proteins, and glial fibrillary acidic protein, and upregulated several neurotrophic factors. Thus, TSG101-overexpressing neural stem cells showed enhanced exosome secretion; exosome treatment protected against MCAO-induced brain damage via anti-inflammatory activities, DNA damage pathway inhibition, and growth/trophic factor induction. Therefore, exosomes and F3.TSG cells can affect neuroprotection and functional recovery in acute stroke patients.  相似文献

By measuring the absorbed hydrogen quantity as a function of number of cycles, cycling characteristics of the Mg–15 wt%Ni–5 wt%Fe2O3 alloy was investigated. The sample was hydriding–dehydriding cycled 150 times. The absorbed hydrogen quantity decreased as the number of cycles increased from the second to the 150th cycle. The Ha value varied almost linearly with the number of cycles. The degradation rate from n = 1 to n = 100 is 0.01201 wt%/cycle for the hydriding reaction time of 10 min, and 0.00860 wt%/cycle for the hydriding reaction time of 60 min. After the 150th hydriding–dehydriding cycle, Mg, Mg2Ni, Mg(OH)2, MgO, and Fe were observed. The phases were analyzed by Rietveld analysis from the XRD patterns of the Mg–15Ni–5Fe2O3 alloy after 150th hydriding–dehydriding cycles. The crystallite size and strain of Mg were then estimated by Williamson–Hall technique.  相似文献

Simulated LOCA (loss of coolant accident) tests and subsequent mechanical tests on Zircaloy-4 cladding were carried out to evaluate the failure behavior of the cladding. Zircaloy-4 claddings were oxidized in a steam environment from 900 to 1250 °C for a given time period followed by a flooding of cool water to simulate LOCA tests. After the simulated LOCA test, the ductility of the oxidized cladding was evaluated by mechanical tests such as ring compression test and 3-point bend test. Evaluation of the absorbed contents such as hydrogen and oxygen were also carried out. The results showed that Zircaloy-4 cladding failed during thermal shock when the ECR (equivalent cladding reacted) value exceeded 20%. Lower boundary of brittle failure at thermal shock corresponds to 20% of ECR line calculated by the Baker-Just equation regardless of test temperature. On the other hand, boundary of ductile failure by the mechanical test did not followed after the ECR line. It rapidly decreased above 1000 °C to show that all Zircaloy-4 claddings behaved brittle fracture above 1150 °C when it oxidized at 300 s. Microstructural analysis revealed that boundary of ductile failure by the mechanical test fitted well when the absorbed oxygen content inside the prior-β layer was below 0.5 wt%.  相似文献

This paper defined design constraints for the compound CVTs (continuously variable transmissions) by combining power-circulation-mode CVTs and power-split-mode CVTs, which were proposed for connecting 2K-H I-type differential gear to V-belt-type CVU (Continuously Variable Unit). The design constraints are the necessary and sufficient conditions to avoid geometrical interferences among elements in the compound CVTs, and to guarantee smooth assembly between the power-circulation-mode CVT and power-split-mode CVT. Two compound CVTs were designed and manufactured in accordance with the design constraints. With these compound CVTs, theoretical analysis and performance experiments were conducted. The results showed that the design constraints were valid and effective design method, and that the designed compound CVTs had the improved performance.  相似文献

The Qualcomm code excited linear prediction (QCELP) speech coder was adopted to increase the capacity of the CDMA Mobile System (CMS). In this paper, we implemented the QCELP speech coding algorithm by using TMS320C50 fixed point DSP chip. Also the fixed point simulation was done with C language. The computation complexity of QCELP on TMS320C50 was about 33 MIPS and program size was 10k words and data memory was 4k words. In the normal call test on the CMS, where mobile to mobile call test was done in the bypass mode without double vocoding, mean opinion score for the speech quality was 3.11.  相似文献
