Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and experimental analyses of some of the basic characteristics of air sparging in a tall stirred vessel equipped with a three-stage impeller are presented. The impeller was assembled from a radial ABT impeller as the lower, a turbine 6PBT45 as the middle and an axial Scaba-type 3SHP1 impeller as the upper. All the impellers were of the same diameter, i.e., 225 mm, while the vessel diameter was 450 mm. The impeller's rotational speed was 178 r·min-1. The aeration regime was established with an air volumetric flow rate of 28.3 m3·h-1. To the best of our knowledge, this study is the first to consider the very high gassing rate by means of CFD in a tank stirred by three-stage axial/radial impellers. The numerical simulation was performed using the ANSYS Fluent (R17.2, 2016) code for solving the governing equations of fluid dynamics in single- and multi-phase systems. While discussing the bubble size distribution, a discrete population balance model (PBM) was used. Adopting CFD, the stirring power and the total void fraction (the total gas holdup) were calculated. Donor-doped BaTiO3 ceramics (0–0.6 mol% Nb) were investigated during the sintering process at an oxygen partial pressure of 2.4 Pa and at a maximum temperature of 1430C. The occurring oxygen exchange with the ambient atmosphere was monitored quantitatively by oxygen coulometry. The coincidence between the grain growth behavior and the occurrence of distinct oxygen release peaks during the anomalous grain growth reveals that significant amounts of the donor are incorporated and charge-compensated by electrons only under the conditions of the anomalous grain growth. Quantitative analysis of the coulometric data shows that at a doping level of 0.2 mol% nearly all donors are charge-compensated by electrons. With increasing Nb concentration also Ti vacancies gradually begin to serve for compensation. At 0.5 mol% Nb their influence reaches 70 % of the electronic compensation. 相似文献

The orientational relationship between intergrown lamellae of tetragonal (t) BaTiO3 and monoclinic (m) Ba6 Ti17 O40 was found to be ( 1 1 1 )t ||(001)m , (001)t ||( 1 0 1 )m , and [110]t ||[0 1 0]m . Nano-crystalline strontium hexaferrite (SrFe12O19) powder was synthesized using the classical co-precipitation and microemulsion methods. The precursors were obtained by precipitating Sr2+ and Fe2+ ions using tetramethylammonium hydroxide and calcinating at different temperatures ranging from 400 °C to 1000 °C in air. The influence of the Sr2+/Fe3+ mol ratio and the calcination temperature on the product formation and magnetic properties were studied. The formation of nanosized particles of SrFe12O19 with a relatively high saturation magnetization Ms = 64 Am2/kg, remanent magnetization of Mr = 39 Am2/kg and a coercitivity of Hc = 5.5 kOe was achieved at a Sr2+/Fe3+ mol ratio of 1:8 calcined at 900 °C.
