A two dimensional model of a geosynthetic tube sitting on a rigid horizontal foundation and filled with several separated liquids with different densities is proposed. The material from which the tube is made is a special synthetic fabric which is inextensible, perfectly flexible, and leakproof. Such a model is useful for modeling a consolidations process in the tube filled with a slurry. The equilibrium equations of the model are formulated. Unknown values like the pressure on the top and bottom of the tube, the tension in the geosynthetic fabric, the length of the contact zone between the tube and the rigid foundation are searched with respect to the given perimeter, the volumes and densities of liquids. Such a problem is solved by the Newton’s method. The initial approximation is obtained by solving a simplified problem with one liquid with the average density. The problem is implemented in a MATLAB code for geosynthetic tubes filled with two, three, and four liquids with different densities. The tubes filled with two different liquids are studied in more detail. The graphs of the relations are compared with the graphs for the tube filled with the single liquid whose density is the average of the densities of the liquids. The comparison enables to discuss the influence of the consolidation process on the height, the contact zone, the pressures and the tension of the tube. The results of the proposed model for a tube filled with a single liquid are compared with another model.  相似文献

Simultaneous Hall and conductivity measurements have been performed on sputtered polycrystalline thin films and on bulk ceramic specimens of nearly stoichiometric CeO2 in the temperature range between 900° and 1040°C. The measurements have been performed in air using low-frequency alternating current. In the case of the bulk ceramic specimens, an upper limit for the carrier mobility of ≤0.2 cm2/(V·s) has been obtained, which is in accordance with data from the literature for bulk samples. The conductivity of the thin films (l/1Ω·m) at 1000°C) is in accordance with data from the literature for bulk ceramics. The carrier density derived from the Hall measurements (3 × 1016/cm3 at 1000°C) increases with increasing temperature, whereas the Hall mobility (4 cm2(V·s) at 1000°C) decreases with increasing temperature. These values differ from literature data for bulk ceramic specimens. The difference may be duelo the small grain diameters (∼200 nm) in the 1-μm-thick thin films.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Frühere Untersuchungen über das Fleischeiweiß verschiedener Tiere wurden unter Verwendung colorimetrischer Verfahren nachgeprüft. Am Beispiel des Pferdefleisches konnte die von Beck und Mitarbeitern erhobene Feststellung bestätigt werden, daß die Hydrolysenprodukte der Fleischfaser sowie die durch Harnstoffextraktion aus Fleisch dargestellten Grundtypen: Extrakt- und Fasereiweiß weitgehend chemisch gleiche Zusammensetzung aufweisen.Neu aufgenommene Untersuchungen dienten dem Zweck, die aus dem Muskelfleisch dargestellten Proteine nach weiteren Gesichtspunkten zu prüfen und Grundlagen für die Differenzierung der fraglichen Eiweißstoffe auf biologischem Wege zu schaffen.Colorimetrische Bestimmung von Arginin, Tyrosin und Tryptophan, Ermittlung des Stickstoffgehaltes und Adsorption von Jod ergab für beide Proteinarten weitgehend übereinstimmende Werte. Es gelang, die Fleischeiweißstoffe frei von wesentlichen Mengen an Mineralstoffen darzustellen und die gegenteiligen Befunde der Literatur zu klären.Es wird ein Verfahren beschrieben, welches gestattet, die Einzelfraktionen der denaturierten Fleischproteine frei von Fremdstoffen in Lösung zu bringen. Die Eigenschaften der dabei erhaltenen, beständigen Lösungen werden untersucht in Hinblick auf ihre Verwendung zu immunbiologischen, demnächst veröffentlichten Untersuchungen.  相似文献

The EBC method 7.7, currently used for determination of bitter acids in hop products, is a time‐consuming and laborious extraction technique. In this paper, our aim was to propose a new extraction method based on Pressurized Solvent Extraction (PSE) sometimes also called Pressurized Fluid Extraction (PFE) or Accelerated Solvent Extraction (ASE). Compared to conventional extractions, PSE offers a number of important benefits. PSE on OnePSE® automated extractor was used for extraction of α‐ and β‐acids from hops and hop products and the parameters influencing extraction efficiency and the influence of the sample preparation method were studied. The quantitative determination of α‐ and β‐acids in the extracts was accomplished by using an HPLC apparatus equipped with diode array detector. The experimental results were compared with those obtained by the standard EBC 7.7 method and the two methods were found to be fully compatible  相似文献

A theory describing the behavior of chemically non-reacting binary mixtures can be based on a detailed formulation of the governing equations for the individual components of the mixture or on treating the mixture as a single homogenized continuous medium. We argue that if we accept that both approaches can be used to describe the behavior of the given mixture, then the requirement on the equivalence of these approaches places restrictions on the possible structure of the internal energy, entropy, Helmholtz potential, and also of the diffusive, energy, and entropy fluxes. (The equivalence of the approaches is understood in the sense that the quantities used in one approach can be interpreted in terms of the quantities used in the other approach and vice versa. Further, both approaches must lead to the same predictions concerning the evolution of the physical system under consideration). In the case of a general chemically non-reacting binary mixture of components at the same temperature, we show that these restrictions can indeed be obtained by purely algebraic manipulations. An important outcome of this analysis is, for example, a general form of the evolution equation for the diffusive flux. The restrictions can be further exploited in the specification of thermodynamically consistent constitutive relations for quantities such as the interaction (drag) force or the Cauchy stress tensor. As an example of the application of the current framework, we derive, among others, a generalization of Fick’s law and we recover several non-trivial results obtained by other techniques. The qualitative features of the derived generalization of Fick’s law are demonstrated by a numerical experiment.  相似文献

A series of short RNA duplexes containing one or two 1‐ethynylpyrene‐modified adenine bases was synthesised. The melting behaviour of these duplexes was examined by monitoring temperature‐dependent pyrene fluorescence. In the singly modified RNA duplexes, the bases flanking the ethynylpyrene‐rA were varied to examine the sequence specificity of the fluorescence change of pyrene upon RNA hybridisation. Because an increase in pyrene fluorescence upon melting of the duplex can be correlated with intercalation of pyrene, and a decrease is usually associated with the position of pyrene outside the strand, a relationship between the flanking bases and the tendency of the dye to intercalate has been established. It was found that pyrene intercalation is less likely to take place if the modified base is flanked only by A–U base pairs. Flanking G–C base pairs, even only in the 5′‐direction of the modified base, will favour intercalation. In addition, we examined a doubly modified compound that had a pyrene located on each strand. The spectra indicated that the two pyrenes were close enough for interaction. Upon melting of the strand, a fluorescence blue shift corresponding to the dissociation of the pyrene–pyrene complex could be observed in addition to the intensity effect already known from the singly modified compounds. Two melting curves based on the different properties of the fluorophore could be extracted, leading to different melting points corresponding to the global duplex melting and to the change of local pyrene environment, respectively.  相似文献

This article deals with experiences acquired during the process of developing the Timbre Brownfield Prioritization Tool (TBPT). Developing a decision support tool that takes into account the expectations and experiences of its potential users is similar to creating applicable knowledge by the joint action of scientists and heterogeneous actors. Actor network theory is used to explore the construction of this form of applicable knowledge as a process of actor network creation. Following the French sociologist Callon, networks are seen to be initiated and carried out by a group of scientists (tool developers) via four moments of translation, called problematization, interessement, enrolment and mobilization. Each step in the construction of the TBPT—from the initial research question to the final model—can be linked in retrospect to changing configurations of actor networks. Based on the experiences of the tool developers in the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany and Romania, we illustrate how these configurations varied across space and time. This contribution emphasizes the ability to correlate gains in knowledge with the more visible changes in the scope of actor networks in order to highlight achievements but also limitations in acquiring applicable knowledge.  相似文献

The irreversible capacity of negative electrode in a lithium-ion cell is a widely described the phenomenon. Irreversible capacity losses are connected with formation of a solid electrolyte interface layer. This layer is growing on the electrode-electrolyte interface during first several charging cycles. The layer is indispensable for proper functioning of a lithium-ion cell. However, during this layer formation, the atoms of lithium are consumed in a range from 18 to 45% of the total amount of lithium atoms presented in cell. Demonstration of possibilities to suppress this phenomenon that occurs on a negative electrode interface is the main aim of this paper.  相似文献

Using a computer-based scientific discovery learning environment on buoyancy in fluids we investigated the effects of goal specificity (nonspecific goals vs. specific goals) for two goal types (problem solving goals vs. learning goals) on strategy use and instructional efficiency. Our empirical findings close an important research gap, because in earlier studies the goal specificity effect either was restricted to one goal type or goal type was confounded with goal specificity. In addition, there is hardly a study with empirical evidence for the goal specificity effect on strategy use, which counts even more for a cognitive cost-benefit ratio as a dependent variable. Instead, in earlier studies the goal specificity effect has been attributed to differences in strategy use and cognitive cost-benefit ratio in a rather theoretical way. In the present study for strategy use an interaction was found between goal specificity and goal type, indicating that the goal specificity effect occurs only in case of problem solving goals, but not in case of learning goals. Compared to students provided with specific problem solving goals, students who worked on nonspecific problem solving goals, used a control of variables-strategy more frequently. Additionally, we found a main effect of goal specificity on instructional efficiency for both of the goal types, pointing at a more favorable relationship between performance gain and cognitive load caused by nonspecific goals.  相似文献
