The design of an efficient non-noble metal catalyst is of burgeoning interest for ammonia synthesis. Herein, we report a Mo2C/CeO2 catalyst that is superior in ammonia synthesis activity. In this catalyst, molybdenum carbide coexisted with the ceria overlayers which is from the ceria support as the strong metal–support interaction. There is a high proportion of low-valent Mo species, as well as high concentration of Ce3+ and surface oxygen species. The presence of Mo2C and CeO2 overlayers not only leads to enhancement of hydrogen and nitrogen adsorption, but also facilitates the desorption and exchange of adsorbed species with the gaseous reagents. Compared with the Mo/CeO2 catalyst prepared without carbonization, the Mo2C/CeO2 catalyst is more than sevenfold higher in ammonia synthesis rate. This work not only presents an explicit example of designing Mo-based catalyst that is highly efficient for ammonia synthesis by tuning the adsorption and desorption properties of the reactant gases, but opens a perspective for other elements in ammonia synthesis. 相似文献

本研究以人急性髓性白血病细胞株THP-1为研究对象,初步探讨其抗癌活性及作用机制。通过光学显微镜观察N6-2-苄胺羟基腺苷(oTR)作用后THP-1细胞形态学和数目变化;CCK-8法检测oTR对THP-1细胞的增殖抑制作用,并用核苷转运体拮抗剂和腺苷受体拮抗剂预处理细胞检测oTR进入细胞的方式;用流式细胞仪分析oTR作用对THP-1细胞凋亡和分化的影响。结果表明,oTR可显著(P<0.05)抑制THP-1细胞的增殖能力,且呈浓度依赖性;核苷转运体拮抗剂Dipyridamole预处理THP-1细胞后,可明显逆转oTR的增殖抑制作用,而4种腺苷受体拮抗剂(DPCPX、SCH58261、MRS1754和MRA1191)则无显著影响;oTR可诱导处理组细胞亚倍体峰比例显著(P<0.05)高于对照组,且细胞髓系分化标志蛋白CD11b表达明显升高。以上结果表明细胞分裂素oTR通过核苷转运体途径进入THP-1细胞,显著(P<0.05)抑制细胞的增殖,并可诱导THP-1细胞发生凋亡和髓系分化。 相似文献

Recently, ceramic matrix composites reinforced by short carbon fibers (CFs) attracted increasing attentions. To further improve mechanical properties and oxidation resistances, CFs were subjected to oxidation and acidification followed by sol-gel dip-coating to deposit ZrO2 on their surfaces. ZrO2-Cf/SiC composites were fabricated by joint hot compression molding and sintering, compared to Cf/SiC and SiC prepared by the same method. Microstructural analyses indicated that ZrO2 coatings were successfully deposited on CF surfaces, formed strong bonding and interfaces between CF and the matrix. Meanwhile, CFs were found uniformly distributed in SiC matrix with random orientations. Flexural curves of ZrO2-Cf/SiC and Cf/SiC revealed the presence of “false plasticity” regions after sharp drops, which were quite different from brittle flexural behavior of SiC ceramic. Compression strength of the three samples showed step-up growth. ZrO2-Cf/SiC exhibited the highest value, indicating the introduction of CFs and ZrO2 coatings do have great influence on mechanical performances. After heat treatment, ZrO2-Cf/SiC exhibited better oxidation resistance than Cf/SiC, with weight loss ratios estimated to ??3.76% and ??6.43%, respectively. These improved properties indicated that ZrO2-Cf/SiC would be excellent alternatives to other existence materials under ultra-high temperature environments. 相似文献

The synergistic effects of activated carbon (AC) and molybdenum oxide (MoO3) in improving the flame retardancy of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) were investigated. The effects of AC, MoO3 and their mixture with a mass ratio of 1:1 on the flame retardancy and smoke suppression properties of PVC were studied using the limiting oxygen index and cone calorimeter tests. It was found that the flame retardancy of the relatively cheaper AC was slightly weaker than that of MoO3. In addition, the incorporation of AC and MoO3 greatly reduced the total heat release and improved smoke suppressant property of PVC composites. When the total content of AC and MoO3 was 10 phr, PVC/AC/MoO3 had the lowest peak heat release rate and peak smoke production rate values of 173.80 kW m?2 and 0.1472 m2 s?1, which represented reductions of 47.3 and 59.9%, respectively, compared with those of PVC. Furthermore, thermogravimetric analysis and gel content tests were used to analyze the flame retardant mechanism of AC and MoO3, with results showing that AC could promote early crosslinking in PVC. Char residue left after heating at 500 °C was analyzed using scanning electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy, and the results showed that MoO3 produced the most compact char, with the smallest and most organized carbonaceous microstructures. © 2017 Society of Chemical Industry 相似文献

This work investigates the critical roles of two-step sintering (TSS) and laminated structure on the sintering behavior and mechanical properties of functionally graded WC-TiC-Al2O3 nanostructured composite materials doped with Cr3C2/VC. Results show that excellent mechanical properties are achieved for tailored TSS conditions with a hardness of 27.91?±?2.3?GPa and a flexural strength of 1423.3?±?23.5?MPa. The desirable mechanical properties are attributed to the suppressed grain growth without densification deterioration. TSS is more effective in facilitating the favorable dispersion of secondary phase toughening nano-particulates in a WC matrix than conventional sintering (CS). Cr3C2/VC dopant plays an important role in maximizing and shifting the temperature range of the kinetic window for WC-Al2O3 composites. Al2O3 crack deflection, transgranular Al2O3, microcracking, WC crack bridging and plate-like WC crack deflection are the major toughening mechanisms. The construction of nonlinear optical materials featuring asymmetric transmission of light is of great technological importance for various applications, including optical switching and optical power limiting. A significant challenge is the scalable fabrication of material candidates with good photochemical stability, high optical transmittance, and excellent optical limiting performance. Here, we present a nanocrystallization avenue for constructing hybrid optical limiting materials that exhibit ultrafast and robust optical limiting performance. The experimental results show that the controllable relaxation of a niobate glass may lead to the clustering of Nb-O units and contracting of the bandgap. It results in the notable improvement in nonlinear optical properties, including the enhanced saturation irradiance (380 GW/cm2), doubly increased nonlinear coefficient, and decreased limiting threshold (200 GW/cm2). Our results suggest a promising material that exhibits promising applications for protecting eyes and sensitive components from laser-induced damage. 相似文献

Directionally solidified microstructures of Al2O3-Er3Al5O12 eutectic and off-eutectic in situ composite ceramics were explored under abrupt-change pulling rate conditions. Corresponding temperature distributions and interface locations were studied. In eutectic composition, fluctuation of eutectic spacing occurred when the pulling rate increased abruptly. A gradually increase or abrupt increase in eutectic spacing was observed when the pulling rate decreased abruptly. In hypoeutectic and hypereutectic compositions, formation of the primary phases were suppressed when the pulling rate increased abruptly from 10?µm/s to 100?µm/s, while primary phases precipitated when the pulling rate decreased abruptly from 100?µm/s to 10?µm/s. The interface altitude decreased after the pulling rate increased abruptly, but increased after the pulling rate decreased abruptly. The liquid composition restriction (around the eutectic composition) at the eutectic interface plays an important role in the suppression of the primary dendrite and coupled eutectic oxides can be obtained in off-eutectic compositions even under higher solidification rate conditions. 相似文献
