Previously, we carried out ultrasonic measurements for liquid 4He filled in a nanoporous glass (Gelsil), and observed an increase in the sound velocity due to decoupling of the superfluid component. At zero pressure, the superfluid transition temperature T C is suppressed to 1.4 K from the bulk lambda point, 2.17 K. This behavior is the same as torsional oscillator measurements by Yamamoto et al. (Phys. Rev. Lett. 93:075302, 2004). However, the pressure dependence of T C and the temperature dependence of the superfluid fraction are very different from the torsional oscillator measurements. In order to clarify the origin of the difference, we have developed a new technique of simultaneous measurement of an ultrasound and a torsional oscillator, and the system successfully works for a nanoporous glass. Here, we compare decoupling of the superfluid component for 4He films between an ultrasound and a torsional oscillator.  相似文献

Aluminosilicate H/CHA and H/MTF zeolites show remarkably different catalytic activities in the methanol and ethanol transformations although they have similar pore size of 8-membered ring structures. Moreover, the produced ethylene is further converted on H/CHA, but H/MTF is not active for the ethylene transformation. The correlations between the distinct catalytic differences and their intrinsic structural properties, including topology and acidity, are discussed.  相似文献

Abstract— A full-color 5.2-inch 1/4-VGA passive-matrix organic LED display has been developed, adopting selective deposition for the different emitting materials. The display features 320 (×3) × 240 pixels with an equivalent pixel size of 0.33 × 0.33 mm, white peak luminance of over 150 cd/m2, and power consumption of 6 W.  相似文献

A decrease of output power observed after discharging plasma tubes in a fast-axial flow CO2 laser amplifier with a short dwell time of about 1 ms is discussed. For the 10P(18) line at 50 torr pressure, the small-signal gain goes from 1.308/m to 1.068/m within 135 s after discharging the plasma tubes, for a gas-flow velocity of 180 m/s and discharge current of 60 mA. The fraction of power decrease is about 15% for the plasma length of 80 cm and the input power of 5 W. Dependences of the observed fraction of power-down and the transient time to reach a stable power on input power and plasma length are theoretically analyzed by introducing the CO2 dissociation factor as a function of gas-flow velocity, discharge current and plasma length, and gain saturation, resulting in good agreement between the experimental results and computation  相似文献

Abstract  

Cr/silicalite-1 and Cr/H[B]MFI catalysts were prepared by the impregnation method, and Cr/H[B]MFI were further treated by steaming. The catalysts were employed for the oxidative dehydrogenation of propane to propylene with CO2 as the oxidant. Cr/H[B]MFI showed significantly higher catalytic activity than Cr/silicalite-1, and steamed Cr/H[B]MFI was superior in the reaction stability to Cr/H[B]MFI. The nature of the supported chromium species have been characterized by a number of physicochemical techniques, such as Raman, UV–vis and NMR. It is concluded that the steaming led to the auto-reduction of some Cr6+ to Cr3+, and resultant Cr3+ species might be located near the boron center in the borosilicate framework to counterbalance the negative charge of the framework. The transformation of Cr6+ species to Cr3+ species, facilitated by the steaming process and the presence of boron in the catalyst, is responsible for the enhanced stability of oxidative dehydrogenation of propane to propylene with carbon dioxide as the oxidant.  相似文献

135 male and 256 female undergraduates completed the Self-Rating Depression Scale, Beck Depression Inventory, Depression Adjective Check Lists, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale, S-R Inventory of Anxiousness, Marlowe-Crowne Social Desirability Scale, and Edwards Social Desirability Scale. Pearson correlation coefficients indicated strong relationships between measures of depression and between measures of anxiety. However, pairs of anxiety and depression measures correlated almost as strongly. All depression and anxiety measures were significantly associated with the Edwards Social Desirability Scale. We have studied heat capacities of 4He adsorbed in straight nanopores 1.8, 2.2, and 2.8 nm in diameter. Heat capacities of the 4He fluid film on the solid layer at 0.08–0.4 K show power laws close to T in 1.8 nm pores, close to T 2 in 2.8 nm pores, and a crossover from T to T 2 with increasing temperature in 2.2 nm pores. These heat capacities are explained by a model assuming a phonon dispersion with continuous one-dimensional (1D) states in the axial direction and discrete energy levels in the azimuthal direction. By fitting experimental data to the model, the phonon velocity along the pore axis and the energy gap for propagation in the cross section are derived. At temperatures sufficiently lower than the energy gap, where the thermal wave length of phonons is much longer than the effective pore diameter, the 4He fluid films show a T-linear heat capacity of 1D phonons propagating only along the pore axis. At higher temperatures, a 1D-2D crossover of phonons occurs.   相似文献

Gianotti-Crosti syndrome (GCS) is characterized by a distinctive self-limiting acral papular or papulovesicular eruption associated with an underlying viral illness. It has not been previously reported in patients post-bone marrow transplantation. We report a 6-year-old Japanese boy who underwent allogeneic bone marrow transplantation from an unrelated donor for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in second remission. He had clinical and histopathologic findings characteristic of GCS and evidence of subclinical infection with cytomegalovirus (CMV) detected by CMV antigenemia assay. It is likely that CMV is the causative agent for the GCS in this case.  相似文献
