The study investigates the performance of two-bed, silica gel-water adsorption refrigeration cycle with mass recovery process. The cycle with mass recovery can be driven by the relatively low temperature heat source. In an adsorption refrigeration cycle, the pressures in adsorber and desorber are different. The chiller with mass recovery process utilizes the pressure difference to enhance the refrigerant mass circulation. Cooling capacity and coefficient of performance (COP) were calculated by cycle simulation computer program to analyze the influences of operating conditions. The mass recovery cycle was compared with conventional cycle such as the single stage adsorption cycle in terms of cooling capacity and COP. The results show that the cooling capacity of mass recovery cycle is superior to that of conventional cycle and the mass recovery process is more effective for low regenerating temperature.  相似文献

The incidence and levels of Vibrio parahaemolyticus and thermostable direct hemolysin gene (tdh)-positive organisms in retail seafood were determined. The most probable number-polymerase chain reaction (MPN-PCR) method using a PCR procedure targeting the species-specific thermolabile hemolysin gene (tlh) and tdh was used to determine the levels of V. parahaemolyticus and tdh-positive organisms, respectively. In seafood for raw consumption, V. parahaemolyticus was found in four (13.3%) of 30 fish samples, 11 (55.0%) of 20 crustacean samples, and 29 (96.7%) of 30 mollusc samples. Levels of V. parahaemolyticus were below 10(4) MPN/100 g in all fish and crustacean samples tested. However, they were above 10(4) MPN/100 g in 11 (36.7%) of the 30 mollusc samples. In all seafood for raw consumption, the level of tdh-positive organisms was below the limit of detection (< 30 MPN/100 g). In seafood for cooking, V. parahaemolyticus was found in 15 (75.0%) of 20 fish samples, nine (45.0%) of 20 crustacean sample, and 20 (100%) of 20 mollusc samples. Levels of V. parahaemolyticus were above 10(4) MPN/100 g in only three (15.0%) and one (5.0%) of the 20 fish and 20 crustacean samples, respectively. However, they were above 10(4) MPN/100 g in 18 (90.0%) of the 20 mollusc samples. In seven (35.0%) of the 20 mollusc samples, tdh-positive organisms were found and their levels ranged from 3.6x10 to 1.1 x 103 MPN/100 g. From four of seven tdhpositive samples, tdh-positive V. parahaemolyticus was isolated.  相似文献

We have synthesized the single phase samples of Cu x C 0.1 Ba 2 Ca 3 Cu 4 O z (x=0.20.9). Transport and magnetic measurements and iodometric titration analysis were carried out for these materials. From these results we discuss the correlation between T c , the Hall number, copper valence and oxygen content. The effect of the substituted M ions on T c in (CuC, M)-l234 (M=Ni,Zn,Al,TI,Mg) is also discussed. We propose a unique selective carrier-doping mechanism in (Cu,C)- and (CuC,Mg)-1234 systems.  相似文献

Spermidine acetyltransferase (SAT) from Escherichia coli was purified about 40,000-fold. The molecular mass of native SAT was 95 kDa, and it consisted of four identical subunits. The products formed from the reaction of acetyl-CoA with spermidine by SAT were N1- and N8-acetylspermidine. The Km values for acetyl-CoA, spermidine, and spermine were 2 microM, 1.29 mM, and 220 microM, respectively. The enzymatic activity increased by 2.5-3.5-fold under the condition of poor nutrition but not in response to cold shock or high pH. By using synthetic oliogonucleotides deduced from amino acid sequences of the peptides in SAT, a polymerase chain reaction product with a length of 250 nucleotides was obtained. Using this polymerase chain reaction product, the gene encoding SAT (speG) was cloned and mapped at 35.6 min in the E. coli chromosome. E. coli cells transformed with the cloned speG gene increased SAT activity by 8-40-fold. The gene encoded a 186-amino acid protein, but SAT consisted of 185 amino acids because the initiator methionine was liberated from the protein. Thus, the predicted molecular mass was 21,756 Da. Significant similarity to aminoglycoside acetyltransferase and peptide N-acetyltransferase was observed in the amino acid sequence 87-141, and some similarity with spermidine-preferential binding protein (potD protein) in the spermidine-preferential uptake system was observed in the amino acid sequence 122-141. The results suggest that the active center of SAT may be located in the COOH-terminal portion.  相似文献

This paper attempts to set a unified scene for various linear time-invariant (LTI) control system design schemes, by transforming the existing concept of "computer-aided control system design" (CACSD) to novel "computer-automated control system design" (CAutoCSD). The first step towards this goal is to accommodate, under practical constraints, various design objectives that are desirable in both time and frequency domains. Such performance-prioritised unification is aimed at relieving practising engineers from having to select a particular control scheme and from sacrificing certain performance goals resulting from pre-commitment to such schemes. With recent progress in evolutionary computing based extra-numeric, multi-criterion search and optimisation techniques, such unification of LTI control schemes becomes feasible, analytical and practical, and the resultant designs can be creative. The techniques developed are applied to, and illustrated by, three design problems. The unified approach automatically provides an integrator for zero-steady state error in velocity control of a DC motor, and meets multiple objectives in the design of an LTI controller for a non-minimum phase plant and offers a high-performance LTI controller network for a non-linear chemical process.  相似文献

A large number of parameters influence polymer-nanocomposite performance and developing a detailed understanding of these materials involves investigation of a large volume of the associated multi-dimensional property space. This multi-dimensional parameter space for polymer-nanocomposites consists of the obvious list of different material types under consideration, such as polymer and nano-additive, but also includes interphase surface chemistry, and processing conditions. This article presents combinatorial library design and high-throughput screening methods for polymer nanocomposites intended as flame-resistant materials. Here, we present the results of using a twin-screwn extruder to create composition-gradient library strips of polymer nanocomposites that are screened with a solid-state NMR method to rapidly evaluate the optimal processing conditions for achieving nanocomposite dispersion. In addition, we present a comparison of a new rapid Cone calorimetry method to conventional Cone calorimetry and to the gradient heat-flux flame spread method.  相似文献

Can a single floating body be expressed as the sum of two bodies? Geometrically, the answer is always ‘yes’. However, the subject of the present paper is if this is also the case from the viewpoint of hydrodynamics, that is, (1) if it is justified to treat hydrodynamic-interaction theory as if there exists some water between the two opposing surfaces of the two bodies, although actually no water exists between them? and (2) can the wave field around one of the two bodies due to the waves scattered by the other body be expressed in terms of a local coordinate system fixed to the corresponding body and vice versa? Theoretical and numerical investigations are carried out and it is concluded that the answer to the first question is ‘yes’, whereas the answer to the second question is, in principle, ‘no’, but, in practice, such integrated quantities as hydrodynamic forces, especially horizontal forces, could still be calculated quite correctly if the body is divided into rectangular sub-bodies with aspect ratio close to unity.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: The genetic alterations in patients with familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) and duodenal adenomas are poorly characterized when compared with data relating to colorectal tumorigenesis in the same patients. METHODS: Point mutation of the K-ras oncogene and point mutation and overexpression of the TP53 tumour suppressor gene were investigated in 32 duodenal polyps (seven without mucosal pathology, 23 with mildly dysplastic adenomas and two with moderately dysplastic adenomas) from 21 patients with FAP. RESULTS: K-ras mutation, TP53 mutation or positive p53 staining were not found in duodenal polyps without histological abnormality. Of 25 duodenal adenomas, K-ras mutation was found in three (two mildly dysplastic, one moderately dysplastic), 20 showed positive p53 immunostaining, and mutation of the TP53 gene was found in one moderately dysplastic adenoma. p53 protein overexpression in duodenal adenomas was significantly more frequent than mutation of either K-ras or TP53 (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: p53 dysfunction is a hallmark of duodenal adenomas in patients with FAP. Overexpression may indicate DNA damage and thus an early step in tumorigenesis.  相似文献

A low-temperature bonding process to form joints with high strength and ionic migration resistance using mixed Cu–Ag nanoparticles was studied. Although it was difficult to obtain strong joints using Cu nanoparticles, with the addition of Ag nanoparticles to the Cu nanoparticles the bonding strength of the Cu-to-Cu joints increased. The joints formed by the mixed Cu–Ag nanoparticles at 350°C exhibited a high bonding strength of ~50 MPa. Counterelectrodes made of the mixed Cu–Ag nanoparticles had four times higher ionic migration resistance compared with counterelectrodes made only of Ag nanoparticles.  相似文献

Cellular uptake and gene expression of plasmid DNA and its cationic liposome complexes were studied using primary cultures of bovine brain microvessel endothelial cells (BMEC) developed as an in vitro model of the blood-brain barrier. An avid association of naked plasmid DNA with the BMEC monolayer was observed at 37 degreesC, which is comparable to that of the DNA/liposome complex. The cellular association significantly decreased at low temperature (4 degreesC). The binding at 4 degreesC was saturable and significantly inhibited by polyanions involving polyinosinic acid and dextran sulfate, typical ligands for the macrophage scavenger receptors, but not by polycytidylic acid or in the presence of EDTA. Unexpectedly, a significant gene expression in the BMEC was obtained by transfection with naked plasmid DNA although the expression level was lower than that obtained by plasmid DNA/cationic liposome complex. Taken together, cultured capillary endothelial cells derived from the brain are able to take up naked plasmid DNA via a scavenger receptor like-mediated mechanism for polyanions and gene expression in the cells takes place.  相似文献
