Variations in liquid petroleum compositions in the Danish Central Graben and Siri Fairway, North Sea, demonstrate the presence of several active source rock facies. To address this issue in detail, a total of 213 samples of liquid petroleum from the Danish Central Graben and the Siri Fairway were typed to eight main oil families and three sub‐families based on characteristic geochemical properties and principal component analysis (PCA). Comparison with source rock extract data made it possible to suggest correlative source rocks for each oil family together with the source rock depositional environments. The main oil families are: 1(B), 2(B), 3a(B), 3b(B), 4(B‐D/E), 5(D/E‐B), 6(D/E‐F) and 7(A), where the capital letters in brackets refer to the organofacies types of Pepper and Corvi (1995), thus directly linking the oil family type to the source rock facies. Oil families 1(B), 2(B), 3a(B) and 3b(B) were charged from marine shales (principally the Upper Jurassic Farsund Formation); oil families 4(B‐D/E) and 5(D/E‐B) are mixed petroleums with both terrigenous and marine components; oil family 6(D/E‐F) was charged from Middle Jurassic coaly units; whereas oil family 7(A) was charged from a carbonate source (Zechstein dolomites). Family 7(A) has only been documented in the form of oil stains. The most widespread oil family is 3a(B), sourced from Upper Jurassic marine shales. Charging from different organofacies is indicated by oil family 3b(B), which was derived from parts of the same shale succession which were more terrigenous‐influenced and possibly slightly more oxic; and families 2(B) and 1(B), which were sourced from more organic‐rich, anoxic parts of the shales. Mildly biodegraded oils (Level 1 to 2) appear mainly to occur in the central to southern parts of the Danish Central Graben.  相似文献

Readers' eye movements were monitored as they read sentences describing events in which an individual performed an action with an implement. The noun phrase arguments of the verbs in the sentences were such that when thematic assignment occurred at the critical target word, the sentence was plausible (likely theme), implausible (unlikely theme), or anomalous (an inappropriate theme). Whereas the target word in the anomalous condition provided evidence of immediate disruption, the effect of the target word in the implausible condition was considerably delayed. The results thus indicate that when a word is anomalous, it has an immediate effect on eye movements, but that the effect of implausibility is not as immediate. Transient receptor potential melastatin-4 (TRPM4) is activated by an increase in intracellular Ca2+ concentration and is expressed on smooth muscle cells (SMCs). It is implicated in the myogenic constriction of cerebral arteries. We hypothesized that TRPM4 has a general role in intracellular Ca2+ signal amplification in a wide range of blood vessels. TRPM4 function was tested with the TRPM4 antagonist 9-phenanthrol and the TRPM4 activator A23187 on the cardiovascular responses of the rat, in vivo and in isolated basilar, mesenteric, and skeletal muscle arteries. TRPM4 inhibition by 9-phenanthrol resulted in hypotension and a decreased heart rate in the rat. TRPM4 inhibition completely antagonized myogenic tone development and norepinephrine-evoked vasoconstriction, and depolarization (high extracellular KCl concentration) evoked vasoconstriction in a wide range of peripheral arteries. Vasorelaxation caused by TRPM4 inhibition was accompanied by a significant decrease in intracellular Ca2+ concentration, suggesting an inhibition of Ca2+ signal amplification. Immunohistochemistry confirmed TRPM4 expression in the smooth muscle cells of the peripheral arteries. Finally, TRPM4 activation by the Ca2+ ionophore A23187 was competitively inhibited by 9-phenanthrol. In summary, TRPM4 was identified as an essential Ca2+-amplifying channel in peripheral arteries, contributing to both myogenic tone and agonist responses. These results suggest an important role for TRPM4 in the circulation. The modulation of TRPM4 activity may be a therapeutic target for hypertension. Furthermore, the Ca2+ ionophore A23187 was identified as the first high-affinity (nanomolar) direct activator of TRPM4, acting on the 9-phenanthrol binding site.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a new method for handling fuzzy risk analysis problems based on the proposed new similarity measure between interval-valued fuzzy numbers. First, we present a new similarity measure between interval-valued fuzzy numbers. It considers the degrees of closeness between interval-valued fuzzy numbers on the X-axis and the degrees of differences between the shapes of the interval-valued fuzzy numbers on the X-axis and the Y-axis, respectively. We also prove three properties of the proposed similarity measure. Then, we make an experiment to compare the experimental results of the proposed method with the existing similarity measures between interval-valued fuzzy numbers. The proposed method can overcome the drawbacks of the existing methods. Finally, based on the proposed similarity measure between interval-valued fuzzy numbers, we present a new fuzzy risk analysis algorithm for dealing with fuzzy risk analysis problems. Because the proposed method allows the evaluating values of sub-components to be represented by interval-valued fuzzy numbers, it is more flexible than Chen and Chen’s method (2003).  相似文献

Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) kill bacteria by targeting their membranes through various mechanisms involving peptide assembly, often coupled with disorder-to-order structural transition. However, for several AMPs, similar conformational changes in cases in which small organic compounds of both endogenous and exogenous origin have induced folded peptide conformations have recently been reported. Thus, the function of AMPs and of natural host defence peptides can be significantly affected by the local complex molecular environment in vivo; nonetheless, this area is hardly explored. To address the relevance of such interactions with regard to structure and function, we have tested the effects of the therapeutic drug suramin on the membrane activity and antibacterial efficiency of CM15, a potent hybrid AMP. The results provided insight into a dynamic system in which peptide interaction with lipid bilayers is interfered with by the competitive binding of CM15 to suramin, resulting in an equilibrium dependent on peptide-to-drug ratio and vesicle surface charge. In vitro bacterial tests showed that when CM15 ⋅ suramin complex formation dominates over membrane binding, antimicrobial activity is abolished. On the basis of this case study, it is proposed that small-molecule secondary structure regulators can modify AMP function and that this should be considered and could potentially be exploited in future development of AMP-based antimicrobial agents.  相似文献

In the present paper, the augmented heat characteristics of a hybrid nanofluid which is a blend of Al2O3 (alumina) and Ag (silver) in the host hybrid fluid (C2H6O2-H2O) (50%–50%) impinging obliquely on an elastic surface with magnetic lines of force are investigated. The properties of the nanofluid are assessed through the computational solutions established with the aid of the popular Runge–Kutta–Fehlberg fifth-order (RKF 5) numerical technique. Outputs of the analysis reveal that the rate of thermal energy transport in the hybrid (mono) nanofluid is enhanced by 11.5% (5.8%) by using blade-shaped nanoparticles in comparison to that of the spherical particles. Stream contours of both nanofluids are inclined to the left (right) of the stagnation-point for positive (negative) values of the stagnation flow parameter.  相似文献
