This paper proposes a wind turbine emulator (WTE) based on the blade momentum theory, and tests the variable‐speed wind power generation system using a pulse‐width modulation (PWM) converter to verify the accuracy of the emulator. The behavior of the wind turbine for natural wind is reproduced by the WTE based on the proposed theory. The variable‐speed wind power generation system employs a vector control system to control the torque and speed of the permanent magnet synchronous generator in the converter side. The windmill rotational speed is controlled to maximize the efficiency of the wind turbine against wind velocity. And the active power and reactive power are controlled in the inverter side, and the generated power is sent to the grid while controlling the DC link voltage to be constant at the same time. The behaviors of the WTE are compared with the simulation results and experimental results using a real wind turbine. These experimental and simulation results show that the test bench with the proposed WTE has sufficient performance and accuracy to verify variable‐speed wind generator systems. © 2015 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. We propose a controller tuning method that considers closed‐loop stability after controller tuning without a mathematical plant model. We propose fictitious correlation‐based tuning that yields reasonable controller parameters using a small amount of input and output data. However, closed‐loop stability after controller tuning is not guaranteed in this approach. In this investigation, we impose a stability constraint on the parameter update in order to maintain closed‐loop stability at each parameter update. Further, by introducing particle swarm optimization instead of the Gauss–Newton method to solve the constrained nonlinear optimization problem, the initial value dependence is considerably reduced. The effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed by a numerical example and experimental results. 相似文献

In mammals, oocyte growth and follicular development are known to be regulated by KIT, a tyrosine kinase receptor. Fas is a member of the death receptor family inducing apoptosis. Here, we investigated germ cell survival, oocyte growth and follicular development in KIT-deficient (Wv/Wv:Fas+/+), Fas-deficient (+/+:Fas-/-), and both KIT- and Fas-deficient (Wv/Wv:Fas-/-) mice during fetal and postnatal periods. Further, the ovaries of these mice were transplanted in immunodeficient mice to compare oocyte growth and follicular development under a condition isolated from the extraovarian effects of KIT- and Fas-deficiency. Higher numbers of germ cells were found in the fetal and postnatal ovaries of Fas-deficient mice than in the same-aged wild-type mice. In KIT-deficient mice, ovaries at 13 days postcoitum (dpc) contained 1106+/-72 (n=3) germ cells, but the ovaries contained no oocytes after birth. Twenty-one days after transplantation of the ovaries at 13 dpc, no oocytes/germ cells were found. A higher number of germ cells (3843+/-108; n=3) were observed in the Wv/Wv:Fas-/- genotypes than in Wv/Wv:Fas+/+ mice at 13 dpc. Furthermore, Wv/Wv:Fas-/- mice contained 528+/-91 (n=3) oocytes at 2 days, and follicles developed to the antral stage at 14 days of age. After transplantation of fetal and neonatal ovaries from Wv/Wv:Fas-/- mice, increased numbers of growing oocytes and developing follicles were obtained compared with those in 14-day old ovaries in vivo. These results show that oocytes grow and follicles develop without KIT signaling, although KIT might be essential for the survival of germ cells/oocytes in mice. 相似文献

With growing interest in recovering materials and subassemblies within consumer products at the end of their useful life, there has been an increasing interest in developing decision-making methodologies that determine how to maximize the environmental benefits of end-of-life (EOL) processing while minimizing costs under variable EOL situations. This paper describes a methodology to analyze how product designs and situational variables impact the Pareto set of optimal EOL strategies with the greatest environmental benefit for a given economic cost or profit. Since the determination of this Pareto set via enumeration of all disassembly sequences and EOL fates is prohibitively time-consuming even for relatively simple products, multi-objective genetic algorithms (GA) are utilized to rapidly approximate the Pareto set of optimal EOL trade-offs between cost and environmentally conscious actions. Such rapid calculations of the Pareto set are critical to better understand the influence of situational variables on how disassembly and recycling decisions change under different EOL scenarios (e.g., undervariable regulatory, infrastructure, or market situations). To illustrate the methodology, a case study involving the EOL treatment of a coffee maker is described. Impacts of situational variables on trade-offs between recovered energy and cost in Aachen, Germany, and in Ann Arbor, MI, are elucidated, and a means of presenting the results in the form of a multi-situational EOL strategy graph is described. The impact of the European Union Directive regarding Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) on EOL trade-offs between energy recovery and cost was also considered for both locations. 相似文献

We synthesized the intermetallic compound GdNi3, which has a PuNi3-type structure (space group R-3m), and investigated its P–C isotherm. The refined lattice parameters were a = 0.4993(1) nm and c = 2.4536(4) nm. In the first absorption process, two plateaus were observed, and the maximum hydrogen capacity reached 1.07 H/M. In the first desorption process, a narrow and sloping plateau was observed at approximately 0.02 MPa. After the first full desorption, 0.6 H/M of hydrogen remained in the sample. This sample showed severe peak broadening in the XRD pattern, indicating that the metal sublattice deformed from the original alloy. No plateau region was observed in the second absorption–desorption cycle. 相似文献

Bacterial communities in crude-oil samples from Japanese oil stockpiles were investigated by 16S rRNA gene cloning, followed by denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) analysis. 16S rRNA genes were successfully amplified by PCR after isooctane treatment from three kinds of crude-oil sample collected at four oil stockpiles in Japan. DGGE profiles showed that bacteria related to Ochrobactrum anthropi, Burkholderia cepacia, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Propionibacterium acnes, and Brevundimonas diminuta were frequently detected in most crude-oil samples. The bacterial communities differed in the sampling time and layer. Among the predominant bacteria detected in the crude oil, only three species were found for bacteria isolated on agar plates and were related to Burkholderia, Stenotrophomonas, and Propionibacterium, while Ochrobactrum sp. could not be isolated although this species seemed to be the most abundant bacterium in crude oil from the DGGE profiles. Using an archaea-specific primer set, methanogens were found in crude-oil sludge but not in crude-oil samples, indicating that methanogens might be involved in sludge formation in oil stockpiles. 相似文献

An LC-MS/MS method for analysis of cereulide, an emetic toxin produced by Bacillus cereus, was developed. Cereulide was extracted from samples, fried rice, pan-fried noodles, red bean paste and baby formula, with methanol and purified using Oasis HLB cartridges. LC separation was performed on a C18 column with a mixture of formic acid solution and methanol containing ammonium formate as a mobile phase, and the mass spectrometer was operated in the positive electrospray ionization mode. Performance evaluation showed that trueness was higher than 70% and repeatability and reproducibility were within 10%. The limits of quantification were lower than 1 μg/kg. 相似文献

The activation mechanism of estrogen receptor (ER) signaling by association with the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) was elucidated recently (Ohtake, et al., Nature 2003, 423, 545). In the present study, we established a reporter yeast strain to evaluate this ER signaling by association with the activated AhR. This yeast strain expresses human ER and AhR, and has a reporter plasmid with estrogen response elements. With this yeast strain we assayed ER activation by various AhR ligands, i.e., 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin, benzo[a]pyrene, 3-methylcholanthrene, beta-naphthoflavone, and indirubin. All these ligands induced ER activation dose-dependently and their EC50 values were 60, 180, 130, 26, and 0.5 nM, respectively. Then, we measured the activity in water collected at 5 localities in the Ishizu River system in Japan. The activities of water samples ranged from 4.8 pmol/L (1.3 ng/L) to 52 pmol/L (14 ng/ L) (17beta-estradiol (E2) equivalent). These values were higher than those measured with the yeast for ER activation through direct ligand binding to ER. The direct ER ligand binding activities of the water samples ranged from 2.5 to 5.3 pmol/L (E2 equivalent). We also measured AhR activation of the water samples using a reporter yeast for AhR ligand activity. The activities ranged from 102 to 472 pmol/L (beta-naphthoflavone equivalent). These results indicate that the water samples contain substances that bind to AhR, and these substances contribute to ER signaling through AhR activation in the yeast reporter strain. This yeast reporter strain should be a useful tool to evaluate direct and indirect ER activation by environmental samples. 相似文献

Several of the drugs currently available for the treatment of premature ejaculation (PE) (e.g., local anesthetics or antidepressants) are associated with numerous safety concerns and exhibit weak efficacy. To date, no therapeutics for PE have been approved in the United States, highlighting the need to develop novel agents with sufficient efficacy and fewer side effects. In this study, we focused on the histamine H3 receptor (H3R) as a potential target for the treatment of PE and evaluated the effects of imetit (an H3R/H4R agonist), ciproxifan (an H3R antagonist), and JNJ-7777120 (an H4R antagonist) in vivo. Our in vivo electrophysiological experiments revealed that imetit reduced mechanical stimuli-evoked neuronal firing in anesthetized rats. This effect was inhibited by ciproxifan but not by JNJ-7777120. Subsequently, we evaluated the effect of imetit using a copulatory behavior test to assess ejaculation latency (EL) in rats. Imetit prolonged EL, although this effect was inhibited by ciproxifan. These findings indicate that H3R stimulation suppresses mechanical stimuli-evoked neuronal firing in the spinal–penile neurotransmission system, thereby resulting in prolonged EL. To our knowledge, this is the first report to describe the relationship between H3R and PE. Thus, H3R agonists may represent a novel treatment option for PE. 相似文献
