A system was developed measuring x-ray powder diffraction in high magnetic fields up to 5 T and at temperatures from 283 to 473 K. The stability of the temperature is within 1 K over 6 h. In order to examine the ability of the system, the high-field x-ray diffraction measurements were carried out for Si and a Ni-based ferromagnetic shape-memory alloy. The results show that the x-ray powder diffraction measurements in high magnetic fields and at high temperatures are useful for materials research. 相似文献

Displacement fields have been calculated around 1/2[111] screw dislocations with various types of core structures in bcc metals. Three types of cores are studied: two types of polarized cores with large and small extensions of the displacement fields and an isotropic core. The difference in the displacement along the [111] direction Δuz from that for the elastic solution has been evaluated for each type of dislocation. In the outside of the core region, the Δuz values are close to zero along the six
directions and the regions with Δuz>0 and Δuz<0 are alternately arranged, lying between those directions. Appreciable difference in Δuz has been detected between the polarized cores and the isotropic core up to large distance from the core region. The defocus convergent-beam electron diffraction patterns have been calculated for the dislocations with the incident beam parallel to the dislocation line. Winding and spiral features have been shown in the higher-order Laue zone (HOLZ) lines for the dislocated structures, which have been confirmed by a preliminary experiment. In addition, small shifts of the HOLZ lines have been shown by the calculation between the polarized cores and the isotropic one. 相似文献

A mist of a hydrosol consisting of silica, alumina/NaAlO2 and sodium hydroxide was produced by a supersonic atomization, and treated successively in three furnaces of different temperatures. The temperatures of the furnaces were adjusted for the evaporation of water, the dehydration and the crystallization of the mixed oxide, respectively. The spherical particles ( 0.5m) of carnegieite were found to be formed in a narrow composition range of the raw materials at temperatures of 650 to 900° C. In the partial oxidation of tar derived from the pyrolysis of cedar wood, the effect of H2S addition was investigated over non-catalyst, steam reforming Ni catalyst, and Rh/CeO2/SiO2 using a fluidized bed reactor. In the non-catalytic gasification, the product distribution was not influenced by the presence of H2S. Steam reforming Ni catalyst was effective for the tar removal without H2S addition, however, the addition of H2S deactivated drastically. In contrast, Rh/CeO2/SiO2 exhibited higher and more stable activity than the Ni catalyst even under the presence of high concentration of H2S (280 ppm). On the Ni catalyst, the adsorption of sulfur was observed by XPS and Ni species was oxidized during the partial oxidation of tar. In the case of Rh/CeO2/SiO2, the adsorption of sulfur was below the detection limit of XPS. This can be related to the self-cleaning of catalyst surface during the circulation in the fluidized bed reactor for the partial oxidation of tar derived from cedar pyrolysis. 相似文献

Not only these inter-processor connections, but also an MIMD structure of the machine were found effective in the particle transport problems, that require asynchronous operation.

Al-doped ZnO (AZO) thin film, which possess the advantages of low cost, low sheet resistance and high transmittance, are one of the most promising candidates to replace indium tin oxide films as the transparent electrode. However, oxidation causes a substantial increase in the sheet resistance of AZO film after exposing in ambient and especially, damp heat environment. In this work, we compare structural, optical, electrical properties and environmental stability between films prepared by two different methods: sol–gel and rf sputtering. Experimental results indicate that the properties of film can be affected by different deposition method. From the X-ray diffraction analysis, all films have hexagonal wurtzite crystal structure with different preferable orientation in two different methods. Optical transmittance spectra of the AZO films exhibited transparency higher than about 80 % within the visible wavelength region and the optical band gap (Eg) of these films was increased in sputtered film, probably due to the increase of carrier concentration. The better environmental stability was found in AZO film prepared by sputtering method. Improved surface morphology and enhancement of crystal orientation (110) was considered for this improvement. 相似文献

La(3+) and not Ca(2+) increases methanol dehydrogenase (MDH) activity in Methylobacterium radiotolerans NBRC15690. La(3+)- and Ca(2+)-MDH-like proteins were found to be homodimeric (α(2)) and heterotetrameric (α(2)β(2)), respectively. This paper describes the results of a joint university-industry study to control a fatty acid distillation sequence, which is plagued with severe disturbance problems. In order to solve the disturbance problem, a model predictive control algorithm is modified in terms of disturbance prediction. Assuming that the dynamics of the unmeasured disturbances is generated by an auto-regressive form, the dynamics of the disturbance can be adaptively identified by using time series data of prediction errors and inputs. Using an identified disturbance model with a process model, future outputs are predicted. Control actions are determined so that the predicted output is as close to the target value as possible. This modified model predictive control aglorithm is applied to a ratio control scheme for three distillation columns. The control system developed has been in use sucessfully for more than six years to produce commercial products. 相似文献
