In this paper, an automatic diagnosis system for diabetes on Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) and Morlet Wavelet Support Vector Machine Classifier: LDA–MWSVM is introduced. The structure of this automatic system based on LDA-MWSVM for the diagnosis of diabetes is composed of three stages: The feature extraction and feature reduction stage by using the Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) method and the classification stage by using Morlet Wavelet Support Vector Machine (MWSVM) classifier stage. The Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) is used to separate features variables between healthy and patient (diabetes) data in the first stage. The healthy and patient (diabetes) features obtained in the first stage are given to inputs of the MWSVM classifier in the second stage. Finally, in the third stage, the correct diagnosis performance of this automatic system based on LDA–MWSVM for the diagnosis of diabetes is calculated by using sensitivity and specificity analysis, classification accuracy, and confusion matrix, respectively. The classification accuracy of this system was obtained at about 89.74%.  相似文献

Abstract: The aim of this research was to compare classifier algorithms including the C4.5 decision tree classifier, the least squares support vector machine (LS-SVM) and the artificial immune recognition system (AIRS) for diagnosing macular and optic nerve diseases from pattern electroretinography signals. The pattern electroretinography signals were obtained by electrophysiological testing devices from 106 subjects who were optic nerve and macular disease subjects. In order to show the test performance of the classifier algorithms, the classification accuracy, receiver operating characteristic curves, sensitivity and specificity values, confusion matrix and 10-fold cross-validation have been used. The classification results obtained are 85.9%, 100% and 81.82% for the C4.5 decision tree classifier, the LS-SVM classifier and the AIRS classifier respectively using 10-fold cross-validation. It is shown that the LS-SVM classifier is a robust and effective classifier system for the determination of macular and optic nerve diseases.  相似文献

In this paper, we have proposed a new feature selection method called kernel F-score feature selection (KFFS) used as pre-processing step in the classification of medical datasets. KFFS consists of two phases. In the first phase, input spaces (features) of medical datasets have been transformed to kernel space by means of Linear (Lin) or Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel functions. By this way, the dimensions of medical datasets have increased to high dimension feature space. In the second phase, the F-score values of medical datasets with high dimensional feature space have been calculated using F-score formula. And then the mean value of calculated F-scores has been computed. If the F-score value of any feature in medical datasets is bigger than this mean value, that feature will be selected. Otherwise, that feature is removed from feature space. Thanks to KFFS method, the irrelevant or redundant features are removed from high dimensional input feature space. The cause of using kernel functions transforms from non-linearly separable medical dataset to a linearly separable feature space. In this study, we have used the heart disease dataset, SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography) images dataset, and Escherichia coli Promoter Gene Sequence dataset taken from UCI (University California, Irvine) machine learning database to test the performance of KFFS method. As classification algorithms, Least Square Support Vector Machine (LS-SVM) and Levenberg–Marquardt Artificial Neural Network have been used. As shown in the obtained results, the proposed feature selection method called KFFS is produced very promising results compared to F-score feature selection.  相似文献

In this paper, we have made medical application of a new artificial immune system named the information gain based artificial immune recognition system (IG-AIRS) which minimizes the negative effects of taking into account all attributes in calculating Euclidean distance in shape–space representation which is used in many artificial immune systems. For medical data, thyroid disease data set was applied in the performance analysis of our proposed system. Our proposed system reached 95.90% classification accuracy with 10-fold CV method. This result ensured that IG-AIRS would be helpful in diagnosing thyroid function based on laboratory tests, and would open the way to various ill diagnoses support by using the recent clinical examination data, and we are actually in progress.  相似文献

This paper introduces a software tool based on illustrative applications for the development, analysis and application of multiobjective evolutionary algorithms. The multiobjective evolutionary algorithms tool (MOEAT) written in C# using a variety of multiobjective evolutionary algorithms (MOEAs) offers a powerful environment for various kinds of optimization tasks. It has many useful features such as visualizing of the progress and the results of optimization in a dynamic or static mode, and decision variable settings. The performance measurements of well-known multiobjective evolutionary algorithms in MOEAT are done using benchmark problems. In this study, a hybrid intelligent solution system including neural networks, genetic algorithms and simulated annealing has been proposed for the inverse kinematics solution of robotic manipulators. The main purpose of the proposed system is to decrease the end effector error of a neural network based inverse kinematics solution. In the designed hybrid intelligent system, simulated annealing algorithm has been used as a genetic operator to decrease the process time of the genetic algorithm to find the optimum solution. Obtained best solution from the neural network has been included in the initial solution of genetic algorithm with randomly produced solutions. The end effector error has been reduced micrometer levels after the implementation of the hybrid intelligent solution system.  相似文献

Absorptive capability appears to be an appealing concept in the technology and innovation management literature. Though absorptive capability attracts researchers from a variety of disciplines, team‐level empirical research on it is scant. In this study, we operationalized team absorptive capability as a multidimensional construct involving knowledge acquisition, assimilation and exploitation. This study also explores the moderating effect of project complexity between team absorptive capability and new product success. In studying the data from 239 new product development projects using partial least squares structural equation modelling, we found that team functional diversity is a significant determinant of team absorptive capability. Moreover, regarding the relationships between team absorptive capability and new product success, we uncovered that (i) new product success is dependent on the ability to understand the acquired knowledge, and (ii) the teams appear to be more cautious in putting the assimilated knowledge into practice to the extent that project complexity increases.  相似文献

High user interaction capability of mobile devices can help improve the accuracy of mobile visual search systems. At query time, it is possible to capture multiple views of an object from different viewing angles and at different scales with the mobile device camera to obtain richer information about the object compared to a single view and hence return more accurate results. Motivated by this, we propose a new multi-view visual query model on multi-view object image databases for mobile visual search. Multi-view images of objects acquired by the mobile clients are processed and local features are sent to a server, which combines the query image representations with early/late fusion methods and returns the query results. We performed a comprehensive analysis of early and late fusion approaches using various similarity functions, on an existing single view and a new multi-view object image database. The experimental results show that multi-view search provides significantly better retrieval accuracy compared to traditional single view search.  相似文献

In this technical note, we revisit the risk-sensitive optimal control problem for Markov jump linear systems (MJLSs). We first demonstrate the inherent difficulty in solving the risk-sensitive optimal control problem even if the system is linear and the cost function is quadratic. This is due to the nonlinear nature of the coupled set of Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equations, stemming from the presence of the jump process. It thus follows that the standard quadratic form of the value function with a set of coupled Riccati differential equations cannot be a candidate solution to the coupled HJB equations. We subsequently show that there is no equivalence relationship between the problems of risk-sensitive control and H control of MJLSs, which are shown to be equivalent in the absence of any jumps. Finally, we show that there does not exist a large deviation limit as well as a risk-neutral limit of the risk-sensitive optimal control problem due to the presence of a nonlinear coupling term in the HJB equations.
