Beta-ray skin dose due to the fission fallout from the Hiroshima atomic bomb is potentially related to the epilation in the black rain area. The absorbed dose to the skin from beta-rays emitted by fission fallout has been estimated for an initial 13?Cs deposition of 1 kBq m?2 on the ground at 0.5 h after the explosion. The estimated skin dose takes into account both external exposure from fission fallout radionuclides uniformly distributed in 1 mm of soil on the surface of the ground and from a 26 μm thickness of contaminated soil on the skin, using the Monte Carlo radiation transport code MCNP-4C. The cumulative skin dose for 1 month after the explosion is taken as the representative value. The estimated skin dose for an initial 13?Cs deposition of 1 kBq m?2 was determined to be about 500 mSv. 相似文献

Purpose: To design a high drug loading formulation of self-microemulsifying/micelle system. Methods: A poorly-soluble model drug (CH5137291), 8 hydrophilic surfactants (HS), 10 lipophilic surfactants (LS), 5 oils, and PEG400 were used. A high loading formulation was designed by a following stepwise approach using a high-throughput formulation screening (HTFS) system: (1) an oil/solvent was selected by solubility of the drug; (2) a suitable HS for highly loading was selected by the screenings of emulsion/micelle size and phase stability in binary systems (HS, oil/solvent) with increasing loading levels; (3) a LS that formed a broad SMEDDS/micelle area on a phase diagram containing the HS and oil/solvent was selected by the same screenings; (4) an optimized formulation was selected by evaluating the loading capacity of the crystalline drug. Aqueous solubility behavior and oral absorption (Beagle dog) of the optimized formulation were compared with conventional formulations (jet-milled, PEG400). Results: As an optimized formulation, d-α-tocopheryl polyoxyethylene 1000 succinic ester: PEG400?=?8:2 was selected, and achieved the target loading level (200?mg/mL). The formulation formed fine emulsion/micelle (49.1?nm), and generated and maintained a supersaturated state at a higher level compared with the conventional formulations. In the oral absorption test, the area under the plasma concentration-time curve of the optimized formulation was 16.5-fold higher than that of the jet-milled formulation. Conclusions: The high loading formulation designed by the stepwise approach using the HTFS system improved the oral absorption of the poorly-soluble model drug. 相似文献

Eu2+ 0.05%, 0.1%, and 0.2% activated LiF-SrF2 eutectic scintillators were prepared by the Bridgman method using 6Li enriched (95%) raw material. The α-ray-induced radio luminescence spectra showed intense emission peak at 430 nm due to an emission from Eu2+ 5d-4f transition in the Eu:SrF2 layers. We present a bidirectional growth mode of InP nanowires grown by selective-area metalorganic vapor-phase epitaxy (SA-MOVPE). We studied the effect of the supply ratio of DEZn ([DEZn]) on InP grown structure morphology and crystal structures during the SA-MOVPE. Two growth regimes were observed in the investigated range of the [DEZn] on an InP(111)B substrate. At low [DEZn], grown structures formed tripod structures featuring three nanowires branched toward the [111]A directions. At high [DEZn], we obtained hexagonal pillar-type structures vertically grown on the (111)B substrate. These results show that the growth direction changes from [111]A to [111]B as [DEZn] is increased. We propose a growth mechanism based on the correlation between the incident facet of rotational twins and the shapes of the grown structures. Our results bring us one step closer to controlling the direction of nanowires on a Si substrate that has a nonpolar nature. They can also be applied to the development of InP nanowire devices. 相似文献

Connection of Vortices Between Spatially Different Phases in Two-Component Bose-Einstein Condensates

We study interfacial topological defects called boojums, a vortex ending or a connecting point of two kinds of vortex cores, in rotating two-component Bose-Einstein condensates. First, we show that the boojum exists at a vortex ending that connects to the interface of the strongly phase-separated condensates. Next, we study various boojums appearing between two phases characterized by different vortex structures, where the intercomponent s-wave scattering lengths are spatially varied. Using three-dimensional simulations of the Gross-Pitaevskii equations, we reveal the detailed structure of the boojums by visualizing its density distribution and effective superflow vorticity. 相似文献

The difference in the hydrogen charging methods, immersion in a NH4SCN aqueous solution, and cathodic electrolysis in a NaOH aqueous solution, did not affect the hydrogen state present in the steel, but it did affect the surface state of the specimens through corrosion, causing fracture strength to fluctuate in tensile testes. As for stress application method, the fracture strength at lower crosshead speeds in tensile tests was consistent with that found for hydrogen precharging prior to stress application in CLTs as long as hydrogen charging was conducted by cathodic electrolysis. However, the fracture strength obtained with concurrent hydrogen charging without precharging prior to stress application in CLTs was higher than that with hydrogen precharging prior to stress application in CLTs regardless of the same hydrogen content. In other words, delayed fracture susceptibility was affected by the order of hydrogen charging and stress application for quasi-cleavage fracture associated with local plastic deformation, i.e., dislocation motion. Therefore, by taking into account the cathodic electrolysis in the NaOH solution, the low crosshead speed and the order of hydrogen charging and stress application, the fracture strength in CLTs, and tensile tests coincided with respect to quasi-cleavage fracture even though the stress application methods were different. 相似文献

The swim-type remotely operated vehicle (ROV) for inspection of narrow spaces in nuclear power plants has been developed. Many structures are crowded in a confined space at regular intervals in the bottom area of a reactor. So, the thickness of the ROV shape is an important design point to ensure that the ROV can move in the space. The developed ROV has a three-dimensional swimming mechanism using six thrusters, three cameras for observing the position while moving and for making inspections easily, and a localization system. The localization system combines two elements: a gyroscope to detect the progression direction; and a slit laser that detects the progression distance using the optical cutting method. The localization method is called the modified inertial navigation (MIN) method and it was evaluated in a mock-up examination. The ROV was able to move smoothly using the MIN method and its position could be detected without making a mistake in the route followed. 相似文献

Downward migration of 137Cs in soils was studied in three mixed deciduous forests c.a. 40 km northwest of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear power plant (FDNPP), Japan. We selected three different types of forest regarding to environmental condition such as slope inclinations and snow coverage conditions at the time of deposition. We examined temporal changes in the vertical distribution of 137Cs from litter layers to 10 cm soil depth for two years (2.3 to 4.3 years after the FDNPP accident in 2011). At all three study sites, the 137Cs in the litter layer had largely migrated to surface soil by 2013. After 2014, about 80% of the 137Cs in forest soils (litter layer to 10 cm soil depth) remained within 0–5 cm soil layer. The vertical distribution had not changed substantially since 2014, suggesting that changes to the downward migration rates of 137Cs in soils drastically decreased with time. In addition, small amounts of migrating 137Cs could not be detected by the present method because there was a large spatial variation in the distribution of soil 137Cs. The results showed similar patterns of soil 137Cs distribution among the three study sites although there were differences in the environmental conditions. 相似文献

The authors invented the transXend detector, which measures X-rays as electric currents, and then gives the energy distribution of the X-rays after an unfolding process. In a previous paper, it was shown that the material thickness distributions can be estimated with the transXend detector by using reference points plotted from the electric current ratios, such as the I 2/I 1 ? I 3/I 1 graph, where Ii denotes the electric current measured by the i-th segment of the transXend detector. In this paper, the tomographic images of iodine, aluminum, and the acrylic those surround the other two materials are reconstructed from their material thickness distributions, which are estimated from two X-ray incidence directions.
