We examine theoretically the phonon dynamics in the electron-phonon-coupled systems. The model Hamiltonian is a one-dimensional Hubbard model where the hopping of electrons induces the electron-phonon coupling. The numerically exact diagonalization of the Hamiltonian with truncation of the total number of phonons is performed. We calculate the phonon excitation spectra and find that the softening of phonons occurs in insulating case, and a diffusive character appears in the metallic case. We also calculate the charge and spin excitation spectra and find that the dynamics of the phonon coupled with the hopping of electrons is affected by the low energy charge and spin excitations.  相似文献

An on-chip 1-Mb SRAM suitable for embedding in the application processor used in mobile cellular phones was developed. This SRAM supports three operating modes - high-speed active mode, low-leakage low-speed active mode, and standby mode - and uses a subdivisional power-line control (SPC) scheme. The combination of three operating modes and the SPC scheme realizes low-power operation under actual usage conditions. It operates at 300 MHz, with leakage of 25 /spl mu/A/Mb in standby mode, and 50 /spl mu/A/Mb at the low-leakage active mode. This SRAM also uses a self-bias write scheme that decreases of minimum operating voltage by about 100 mV.  相似文献

The fracture behaviors of gellan hydrogels under compression remarkably depend on the strain rate as well as the boundary conditions for lateral expansion. In the geometry with no constraint for lateral expansion (conventional uniaxial compression), the gels rupture at relatively small strains independently of the compression rates. In contrast, when the gels are compressed extremely slowly (at a strain rate of ca. 10−5 s−1) in the geometry prohibiting the lateral expansion at their top and bottom surfaces, they are remarkably compressible down to 2% of the initial height without macroscopic fracture and they are accompanied by a large amount of water release. In such markedly compressed gels, many microscopic cracks are formed around the central layer, where strain concentration occurs due to the nonuniform deformation arising from the constrained geometry. In the highly compressible case, the formation of macroscopic cracks is prevented by the localization of microscopic cracks as well as the enhancement in mechanical toughness by a significant increase in polymer concentration due to water release.  相似文献

A new configuration based on the polarization-mismatching scheme with time delay for efficient frequency tripling conversion is proposed in this paper. The calculated results showed that the requirement for the efficient frequency tripling conversion of a 1-ps laser pulse is not only the optimization of peak intensity of the second-harmonic pulse, but also the optimization of the pulse duration ratio and temporal difference between the o-polarization second-harmonic pulse and the e-polarization first-harmonic pulse due to group-velocity mismatch among the interacting pulses. With the proposed scheme the group velocity mismatch can be compensated. Overall energy conversion efficiency increases from 55% to 75% under the optimized conditions at the intensity of 6 GW/cm2. The temporal shape of the third-harmonic pulse with 1 ps pulse duration has no subpulses. The optimization of the efficient frequency tripling conversion for intensities of over 75 GW/cm2 is also described. The results showed that the maximum tripling energy conversion efficiency is close to 80% with the optimized doubler and tripler  相似文献

Alumina-hydrate-coated SiC particles were prepared via a homogeneous precipitation method using urea, and the conditions for uniform coating and less coalescence of the particles were investigated. Coalescence of coated particles could be said to occur by collision and agglomeration followed by deposition of alumina hydrate on the agglomerated particles. Coalescence of coated particles was suppressed by use of low reaction temperature, low concentration of aluminium sulfate, high concentration of urea, intensive stirring, and a flow reactor.  相似文献

A new mathematical model for study of an interface crack between two dissimilar elastic half planes is proposed. A process zone is formed along the interface between the physical crack and the continuous part. Both the crack opening (and sliding) displacement with a smooth shape and the finite magnitude of stress concentration appear in this zone. The analytical model is expressed by closed elastic solutions using complex variables, but with no oscillations at the crack tip.  相似文献
