The detection of the islanding condition of a distributed generation (DG) system is crucial for safety reasons, as discussed in the IEEE standards and specifically required by some national codes. Several anti-islanding methods that are resident in the inverter have been investigated and classified as passive (measurement of the natural effects of islanding) or active (based on the measurement of the effects due to transients or harmonics deliberately introduced in the system). In case the power drained by the load matches the power generated by the DG inverter, the effect of islanding is small, and the passive methods fail. However, the active methods, which have been developed to overcome these limits, create disturbances that can interact with those generated by other DG systems. In this paper, a new anti-islanding method is proposed. It exploits the natural sensitivity of a grid-voltage sensorless control to disturbances to highlight the islanding condition. The adopted grid-voltage sensorless control is adapted to a single-phase system with the use of resonant controllers based on the internal model control law: resonant-controller-based observer results. Then, a Kalman-filter-based algorithm is used to detect the islanding condition based on the energy mismatch between the estimated third and fifth harmonics and the real ones. Electrolytic hydrogen saturation of polycrystalline aluminum leads to a significant (up to about 30%) decrease in the shear moduli G of samples. This change in G is accompanied neither by the loss of plasticity (no hydrogen-induced brittleness) nor by a change in the electric resistance (in contrast to that observed during the hydrogenation of typical hydride-forming metals and alloys, including those in the amorphous state).  相似文献

A detailed study of fiber-coil-based polarization controllers (PCs) is performed. First, a method to deterministically calculate the PC configuration in order to transform between any two states of polarization is presented. In a second stage, the case in which the configuration angles are randomly changed is studied. The cases of a single PC and of the system obtained with the concatenation of several PCs are analyzed. For both cases, a general expression for the variance of the Stokes parameters is obtained. Using this expression, it is demonstrated that it is possible to achieve uniform polarization scattering using a concatenation of fiber-coil-based PCs. Finally, it is shown that fiber-coil-based PCs can be used to emulate both first- and second-order polarization-mode dispersions  相似文献

Laser annealing of amorphous silicon (a-Si) at different initial temperatures (77 and 300 K) has been studied. It is established that the laser-stimulated crystallization of silicon is possible at relatively low temperatures. A theoretical model is proposed, which explains this phenomenon by melting via the electron mechanism followed by recrystallization.  相似文献

The process of interface formation between two organic films composed of donor (copper phthalocyanine, CuPc) and acceptor (perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylic dianhydride, PTCDA) molecules has been studied in situ using the total current spectroscopy technique. It is established that the donor-acceptor interaction between CuPc and PTCDA molecules do not distort the energy structure of the density of electron states. The main π*, σ*1, and σ*2 bands of antibonding (unoccupied) electron states are identified, which are determined both by C-C bonds in the aromatic rings and by additional C-N and C-O bonds. The width of the interface potential barrier is evaluated and its relation to the limiting polarizability of molecules is demonstrated. The interface potential barrier is formed in the course of negative charge transfer between donor (CuPc) and acceptor (PTCDA) molecules.  相似文献

Ochratoxin A (OTA) is a secondary metabolite produced by several species of Aspergillus and Penicillium; among them Aspergillus ochraceus and Penicillium verrucosum are two ochratoxigenic species capable of growing in different climates and thus contamination of food crops with OTA can occur worldwide. OTA can be found in a wide range of foods such as cereals, coffee, cocoa, spices, beer, wine, dried vine fruit, grapes and meat products. OTA is toxic to animals, it presents neurotoxic, immunotoxic and nephrotoxic effects. It has been implicated in a human kidney disorder known as Balkan Endemic Nephropathy. This review focuses on the ecophysiology of ochratoxin-producing Aspergillus ochraceus and Penicillium verrucosum, the effect of environmental factors on their germination, mycelial growth, and OTA production. Knowledge of environmental conditions required for sucessive stages of fungal development represent the first step towards preventing mycotoxin formation. Predictive models for different stages of fungal development are presented, which allow prediction of the time before spoilage as a function of the abiotic factors. Finally, the implications of these studies in management of barley, coffee and grapes are described. This can help to identify the critical control points in their production, storage and distribution processes.  相似文献

We present the results of investigation of the magnetic, transport, structural, and mechanical properties of composites obtained by introducing finely dispersed zirconium nitride into a matrix of a Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 + δ (Bi2223) high-temperature superconductor. It is established that the introduction of ZrN particles in the range of very small concentrations (0.1–0.3 wt %) leads to a significant (more than threefold) increase in the critical current density of Bi2223 and increases the density of the composite, while the microhardness of the superconducting phase remains unchanged.  相似文献
