This investigation was designed to diagnose right ventricular infarction, which is difficult to diagnose by the standard twelve-lead ECG, through the use of body surface isopotential maps which have significant diagnostic information. Right ventricular infarction was experimentally caused by ligation of the canine right coronary artery. Each dog had a series of maps recorded before and a week after experimentally-induced myocardial infarction. The common features of maps in right ventricular infarction are: 1. In the early stage of the ventricular depolarization the negative area occupies a comparatively large part of the right anterior chest surface, and in the middle stage, the larger part of the right anterior surface is also occupied by the negative area. 2. A minimum appears on the right anterior chest surface in the early stage. The delayed excitation resulting from intraventricular conduction disturbance caused by infarction, as verified by the epicardial isochronic map, is also well represented by the body surface isopotential map. In conclusion, through the use of body surface isopotential maps, it is much easier to diagnose right ventricular infarction and intraventricular conduction disturbance caused by infarction even in cases in which the standard twelve-lead ECG does not show the abnormalities clearly. 相似文献

A new technique for labelling natural scenes is proposed. This technique labels disjoint regions on an image of a natural
scene on the basis of knowledge about the relationship among objects. The proposed technique consists of three stages: (1)
segmentation, (2) initial labelling, and (3) label improvement. One of the most promising previous techniques uses simulated
annealing to find the solution, while our technique uses local hill-climbing with enhanced knowledge for speeding up the processing.
Local hill-climbing is known to be easy to be captured by a local minimum. We solved this problem by enhancing the knowledge
being used as constraints for the search. Our knowledge represents 1-to-n relationships among regions, pair-wise relationships of regions, and relative locations of the regions to the image. In addition,
we introduced two region features: an entropy in intensity; and a linearity of contours of each region. The linearity evaluation
aims to distinguish artificial objects from natural objects. The validity of the technique is supported by some experiments.
These experiments showed that the proposed technique is much faster with the almost same accurate. 相似文献

A simple yet practical method of designing an aperiodic array consisting of subarrays is shown. By properly controlling the excitation phase of each subarray, the designed aperiodic array has the capability to track a geostationary satellite within some limited angles. Starting with an initial position of the subarrays, their optimum positions in terms of the side lobe performance can be obtained by a newly developed algorithm which uses the steepest descent method together with an appropriately defined cost function. An example of an aperiodic array consisting of 16 subarrays in the 14 GHz band is shown. It can track a geostationary satellite at the maximum of 2/spl deg/ off its mechanical boresight (the direction perpendicular to the surface of the array). Although it is nearly square with the maximum dimension of only 47/spl lambda/ (wavelength), its calculated side lobe patterns satisfy most of the requirements specified in the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) recommendations, which must be met by all earth stations with antennas of larger than 50/spl lambda/ in diameter. 相似文献

In the original Grover algorithm, an exact or almost exact search such that the success probability is unity or infinitesimally close to unity is possible only for certain values of the fraction λ = M/N where M is the number of marked items that are stored in an unsorted database of N items. There are various modified algorithms with an adjustable phase or phases such that an exact search can be done for any value of λ by means of a finite number of Grover-type operations. Among them, the algorithm proposed by Long is the simplest in the sense that it has only one adjustable phase and that the phase can be obtained in a closed form. Temporal segmentation of successive actions in a long-term video sequence has been a long-standing problem in computer vision. In this paper, we exploit a novel learning-based framework. Given a video sequence, only a few characteristic frames are selected by the proposed selection algorithm, and then the likelihood to trained models is calculated in a pair-wise way, and finally segmentation is obtained as the optimal model sequence to realize the maximum likelihood. The average accuracy on IXMAS dataset reached to 80.5% at frame level, using only 16.5% of all frames in computation time of 1.57 s per video which has 1160 frames on the average. 相似文献

The lifetime prediction of ceramics is discussed on the basis of the relationship between stress intensity factorK1 and crack velocity ν. The effects of water environment, the cyclic loading and microstructure of material on K1-ν characteristics are studied by carrying out the crack growth tests by the double torsion (DT) method under the static andcyclic loading in both environments of air and water for alumina and zirconia. K1-ν characteristics determined by the double torsion method are used to predict time-to-failure under the cyclic loading of alumina and zirconia ceramics. Cubic design of a stator in a rotary-linear piezoelectric actuator is sophisticated and interesting, but the vibration theory of the cubic stator remains unclear when using the finite element method (FEM). In this paper, we analyze the vibration behavior of the cubic stator by applying the energy method, which distinguishes the component of mechanical energy. By changing the design of the stator (especially the length in the direction of the through-hole axis), we clarify how the vibration modes are in accordance at one equal frequency in cubic shape.
