Here, it is demonstrated that energy transfer in a blend of semiconducting polymers can be strongly reduced by non‐covalent encapsulation of one constituent, ensured by threading of the conjugated strands into functionalized cyclodextrins. Such macrocycles control the minimum intermolecular distance of chromophores with similar alignment, at the nanoscale, and therefore the relevant energy transfer rates, thus enabling fabrication of white‐light‐emitting diodes (CIE coordinates: x = 0.282, y = 0.336). In particular, white electroluminescence in a binary blend of a blue‐emitting, organic‐soluble rotaxane based on a polyfluorene derivative and the green‐emitting poly(9,9‐dioctylfluorene‐alt‐benzothiadiazole ( F8BT ) is achieved. Morphological and structural analyses by atomic force microscopy, fluorescence mapping, µ‐Raman, and fluorescence lifetime microscopy are used to complement optical and electroluminescence characterization, and to enable a deeper insight into the properties of the novel blend.  相似文献

Magnetic optical sensor particles with multifunctional cores and shells are synthesized via a facile nanoprecipitation method and the subsequent modification of the particle shell. The hydrophobic particle core includes optical oxygen indicators, a light harvesting system, photosensitizers, and magnetic nanoparticles. Further functionalities are introduced by modifying the shell with enzymes, antibodies, multiple layers of polyelectrolytes, stimuli‐responsive polymers, and luminescent indicator dyes. The hydrodynamic diameter is tunable by varying different precipitation parameters.  相似文献

We have realized a tandem solar cell design that combines a pin‐junction with a photovoltaic intersubband absorber. This concept allows harvesting light in the visible range and the near‐ and mid‐infrared at the same time, and theoretically, energy conversion efficiencies beyond the Shockley–Queisser‐limit could be achieved. A test structure was grown, and the operation of this concept could be confirmed, in principal with an optical two‐beam experiment. The basic characteristics of the device can be explained with an equivalent circuit design that consists of three individual cells, and we find an obvious analogy to the concept of the intermediate band solar cell with noteworthy advantages at some points. Our results show, that for a working device it is crucial to adjust the properties of the photovoltaic intersubband absorber for optimal charge separating performance at the working point of the solar cell. Future mobile networks are expected to be complex heterogeneous systems. On the one hand this will enable users to take advantage of a number of different access technologies. On the other hand it will seriously affect network management procedures since more extensive operations and decisions will have to be dealt with. To tackle these challenges a number of new dynamic mechanisms need to be designed. It is imperative that certain network management tasks have to be performed without human intervention to reduce the OPEX costs and achieve faster responses in different events. To achieve this goal, the introduction of self‐x functionalities, combined with cognitive mechanisms and the ability to reconfigure network entities and terminals, is required. Moreover, the introduction of a new pilot channel needs to be considered to assist the terminals in selecting the most suitable radio access technology according to their requirements. We present the functional architecture of an evolved network that was designed in the context of the EU‐funded IP project ‘E3: End‐to‐End Efficiency’. This architecture aims to enhance existing procedures usually performed in traditional operation and maintenance systems (e.g. spectrum management, network planning, configuration actions). We explain the rationale of our design and provide specific examples to illustrate the role of the different functional entities and their interfaces. In this paper the bit error rate performance and error vector magnitude of a tunable impedance matching network is analyzed assuming QPSK, 16-QAM and 64-QAM digital modulation schemes. The characterized tunable impedance matching network is based on barium–strontium–titanate ferroelectric thick-film varactors. Inherent dispersive behavior is subsumed into the forward transmission of the passive device. Due to this nonlinear phase response, in general to maximize the overall system performance, an agile tuning of the varactor values is demonstrated, taking into account the phase and group delay of s21 parameter. Detailed signal simulation results based on measured data of a testbed are presented. The influence of varying matched impedances on the tuning behavior with different modulation bandwidths is discussed at a center frequency of 1.9 GHz.  相似文献

Zusammenfassung Am Beispiel der Untersuchung von Futtermitteln wird ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Chlorkohlwasserstoff-Pesticidrückstäden mittels Gaschromatographie in Dünnfilm-Glascapillaren beschrieben. Mit der verwendeten Capillarsäule (VB 61) gelang eine gute Auftrennung aller geprüften 15 Chlorkohlenwasserstoff-Pesticide. Wiederfindung und Reproduzierbarkeit wurden überprüft, die Nachweisgrenzen werden angegeben.
To the determination of chlorinated hydrocarbon pesticide residues with capillary chromatography
Summary A procedure for determinting chlorinated hydrocarbon pesticide residues by gaschromatography with capillary columns in feeds is described. With the capillary column (OV 61) used a good resolution of all tested 15 pesticides was possible. Recovery and reproducibility were checked, detection limits are given.

We study optical terminals with both communication and ranging capabilities for their potential use in short range free-space applications, typically encountered within a cluster of microsatellites. For our considerations we assume satellites with a unit mass between 10 kg and 100 kg, with mutual distances on the order of a few km, and per link data rates range from a few kbits/s to some 100 Mbit/s. We discuss possible network topologies and multiple access methods, andcompare the performance characteristics of different intensity modulation formats, taking into account not only the task of communication but also that of accurate intra-cluster distance measurement. Our considerations revealbasic tradeoffs to be observed when designing such multifunctional optical terminals.  相似文献
