A low-temperature cofired ferroelectric ceramic composition for electrically tunable radio frequency devices is introduced. A sintering temperature of 950°C for BaSrTiO3 –MgO was obtained following the combined addition of B2 O3 and Li2 CO3 . The effects of these sintering aids on densification, microstructure, and ferroelectric properties were investigated. The permittivity and dissipation factor values were 234 and 0.0010, respectively, measured at 286.3 K, 1 kHz. The electrically tunable ferroelectric structure for microwave measurement was fabricated throughout the tape-casting process. Abstract— Results for a ferroelectric‐liquid‐crystal (FLC) display cell, aligned on inorganic SiO2 thin‐film surfaces by using oblique ion‐beam sputtering deposition on the substrates, is presented. A large deposition angle from 60° to 80° can be employed for the thin alignment layer, with thicknesses varying from 5 to 40 nm. Two types of uniform alignment, chevron (before electrical treatment) and quazi‐bookshelf (after electrical treatment), were studied. High‐quality alignment on large‐sized substrates was also easily be achieved because of the linear design of the ion‐beam sputtering source, which was previously a significant challenge for FLC on SiOx layers. 相似文献

The University of Tartu provides a quality control service to the majority of diagnostic X-ray departments in Estonia. Its methodology has been adopted from the IEC and other relevant standards. Recently the Testing Centre of the University of Tartu was accredited on this methodology by ISO/IEC 17025. Besides the implementation of the quality management system, participation in interlaboratory comparison (ILC) was one of the prerequisites for the accreditation. Tests for estimating reproducibility of tube voltage and dose rate, accuracy of the voltage and accuracy of exposure time were carried out on a diagnostic X-ray unit in the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority in Helsinki. The measurement performance was judged by calculating deviation E(n) normalised with respect to the stated uncertainties. In this paper we revisited the effect of dither signal in servo-drives with dynamic friction. In opposition to existing results based on memoryless friction models, the average effect of friction can be qualified in terms of amplitude and frequency of the dither signal. This result is obtained by a new proposed modification of singular perturbation theory that, in particular, allows the stabilizing effect of the dither to be rigorously proved. This paper describes the use of new amphiphilic polyelectrolytes for protein immobilization. Monomolecular films of glucose oxidase (GO) and monoamine oxidase (MAO) stabilized by amphiphilic polyelectrolytes (polyethyleneimine and poly-4-vinylpyridine derivatives modified by lauryl chains) were formed on a water surface in a Langmuir-Blodgett trough. The compressed films containing the enzymes were transferred onto the surface of a polypropylene membrane of a Clark electrode according to the Langmuir-Schaefer method. The analytical responses of the resulting biosensors were linear over the range 1–10 mM of glucose and 8–100 μM of tyramine. Furthermore, direct functional coupling of GO and ferrocenecarboxylic acid in multilayer films stabilized by amphiphilic polyelectrolytes was demonstrated. The amperometric response of such a sensor was linear over the range 1–20 mM of glucose. The dependence of the kinetic parameters of the enzymes on the amphiphilic polyelectrolyte structures is discussed. 相似文献
