To develop insoluble Sn2+ complexes for the preparation of 99mTc radiopharmaceuticals, the adsorption of Sn2+ to macroreticular chelating ion exchange resins having various functional groups was investigated. Among them, a resin containing aminophosphonic acid groups showed a high adsorption capacity for Sn2+, which was bound strongly to the resin by chelation. This macromolecular Sn2+ complex was very stable against hydrolysis and oxidation, and could be applied satisfactorily for the reduction of 99mTc.  相似文献

The role of boric acid in the formation of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)-iodine complexes in undrawn films has been investigated by using wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD) and high-resolution solid-state 13C NMR spectroscopy. From UV-vis absorption spectroscopy, it is confirmed that boric acid is necessary for the formation of the complexes in films that are treated with I2/KI aqueous solutions at relatively low I2 concentrations. The WAXD profiles indicate that, irrespective of the presence of iodine, crystallite sizes perpendicular to the chain axis become smaller by the addition of boric acid in the swelling media. Moreover, small crystallites and surficial parts of larger crystallites may be partially dissolved in the swelling process with water and boric acid suppresses the re-crystallization in the drying process with or without iodine. The 13C spin-lattice relaxation time analysis reveals that there exist two components called the mobile and the less mobile components in the films and the latter component, which contains the complexes and the crystalline component, is increased in the fraction by the presence of boric acid. The evaluation of the CH resonance line shows that some of the intermolecular hydrogen bonds are broken by boric acid, which increases the intramolecular hydrogen bonds. The CH2 lineshape analysis also reveals that the gauche fraction is appreciably increased in the less mobile component by the addition of boric acid. These facts suggest that boric acid may promote the formation of PVA-iodine complexes particularly in the surficial areas of the crystallites probably by reducing the molecular mobility of the PVA chains by causing cross-linking among them.  相似文献

In this study, we analyzed the concentrations of mercury and dioxins in tuna with various fat contents (akami; the leaner meat, Chutoro; the belly area of the tuna along the side of the fish between the akami and the otoro. Otoro; the fattiest portion of the tuna) in wild and farmed bluefin tuna and farmed southern bluefin tuna. In the three kinds of tuna, average dioxins concentrations in Akami, chutoro and otoro were 1.7, 4.7 and 9.6 pg TEQ/g, respectively. The dioxins concentration in all three regions of tuna was in direct proportion to the fat content. In the farmed bluefin tuna, the dioxins concentration was almost the same as that of the wild tuna, but differed from that of the farmed southern bluefin tuna. Average total mercury concentration based on wet weight in akami was 0.42 μg/g, being higher than the values of 0.36 μg/g of chutoro and 0.31 μg/g of otoro, and in inverse proportion to the fat content. In all three regions, the total mercury concentration of the wild bluefin tuna was equal to that of the farmed tuna. The total mercury concentration in the latter was two to three times higher than that of the farmed southern bluefin tuna. If the Japanese intake is one fin of tuna (80 g) a day, the daily intake levels of dioxins and methyl mercury can be estimated as 0.48-37 pg TEQ/kg bw and 0.21-0.90 μg/kg bw, respectively.  相似文献

UV irradiation could be an alternative growth inhibition treatment against toxic Microcystis blooms in lakes. This study examined the effect of UV irradiation on the release of toxic intracellular microcystin. Conventional algicidal treatment (e.g. copper sulfate) was known to cause rapid release of intracellular microcystin and additional problems, but no studies have examined the case of UV treatment. A pure culture of Microcystis aeruginosa PCC 7806 was exposed to monochromatic low-pressure or polychromatic medium-pressure UV lamps. Irradiated pure culture suspension was subsequently incubated for 14 days under white light fluorescent lamps. During incubation, profiles of the number of cells, intracellular and extracellular microcystin concentration were determined. After the UV exposure, the number of cells gradually diminished; the net log cell reduction after 6 days of incubation was 1.6 log or 2.0 log for 600 mJ/cm2 of LP or MP UV irradiation, respectively. There were three findings for UV irradiation effects on the release of intracellular microcystin. First, because UV exposure can inhibit increases in the number of cells for about 6 days, it inhibited the increase of microcystin concentrations in water. Second, intracellular microcystin was gradually released into the surrounding water through a gradual reduction in the number of cells, preventing a rapid increase of microcystin concentration in water. Microcystin concentration in water was not significantly higher in UV-irradiated samples than non-UV-irradiated sample. Third, UV irradiation was able to degrade intracellular microcystin; it was reduced from 24.6 to 7.06 or 7.16 fg/cell by 600 mJ/cm2 of LP or MP UV irradiation, respectively. This contributed to reduce increases in microcystin concentrations in water. UV treatment can inhibit Microcystis growth and reduce intracellular microcystin content without rapid release of intracellular microcystin.  相似文献

We evaluated the microbiological safety of bottled mineral water products commercially available in Japan. Of 10 bottled mineral water products manufactured in Japan, no bacteria or fungi were detected in 9 (90%), but 1 (10%) contained 1.8x10(3) colony-forming units (cfu)/mL. Of 12 bottled mineral water products manufactured in the EU, 11 (91.7%) contained 23-3.5x10(4) cfu/mL. On the other hand, of 5 bottled mineral water products manufactured in North America, 2 (40%) contained 2.3x10(2)-2.5x10(3) cfu/mL. The detected microorganisms were glucose-nonfermentative Gram-negative bacilli such as Brevundimonas vesicularis, Moraxella spp., and Burkholderia cepacia, but Pseudomonas aeruginosa was not detected in any product. For immunocompromised host patients being managed in ultra-clean rooms, the examined bottled mineral water products manufactured in Japan, except 1, were microbiologically safe.  相似文献

In order to perform precise evaluation of MANET applications in the real world, realistic mobility models are needed in wireless network simulation. In this paper, we propose a new method to create urban pedestrian flows (UPF) mobility scenarios, which reproduce the walking behavior of pedestrians in urban areas. From given densities of pedestrians observed at several points, our method derives a UPF mobility scenario that reproduces the walking behavior of pedestrians consistent with the observed densities, using linear programming techniques. We have developed a network simulator MobiREAL to design and evaluate MANET protocols and applications with this realistic mobility model. MobiREAL provides various functions and tools including a mobility model to describe the behavior of individual nodes, a GUI to assist with automatic generation of UPF mobility scenarios and a visualization tool. We have conducted some experiments using the MobiREAL simulator. Through the experiments, we have investigated the influence of node mobility on the performance of MANET protocols and have shown the usefulness of our method and the MobiREAL simulator.  相似文献

Plastic microchips are very promising analytical devices because they are less fragile and are suitable for mass production. However, due to their hydrophobicity, the surface strongly interacts with nonpolar analytes or species containing hydrophobic domains, resulting in significant uncontrolled adsorption on channel walls. This paper describes the poly(methyl methacrylate) surface treatment by dynamic coating additives that considerably decreases adsorption of analytes to channel walls. Among the additives studied, quaternary ammonium starch derivatives suppressed the adsorption of fluorescently labeled amino acids and peptides most effectively. The effect was valid over the wide pH range from 2.5 to 8.0. Using a 10 mM phosphate buffer (pH 7.0) with 3% (w/v) quaternary ammonium starch as the running buffer, Asp and Glu, respectively, migrated at 54.6 and 57.6 s with efficiencies of 380 000 and 370 000 plates/m. In addition, this cationic starch derivative was found to possess good solubility and low viscosity.  相似文献

This article describes a method for simultaneously displaying several images on a screen during an online multimedia presentation. Users with 'REALPLAYER' software and Web browsers can view images with synchronous audio on their personal computers via the Internet. Medical researchers and physicians often find it useful to compare images after treatment with those before treatment, by displaying several arranged images simultaneously. Medical care providers can browse this type of multimedia content in their offices and universities at their convenience. There presently exist two methods for creating multimedia content with voice and images using RealSystem technology. Electronic lectures of otorhinolaryngology explaining new surgical procedures for patients with chronic otitis media were created with this method and made available to otorhinolaryngologists through the Internet.  相似文献

Isophorone (ISP) is used widely as a solvent of natural and synthetic resins, wax, printing ink, pesticides and paints. In this study, the level of ISP in various foods (93 samples) was analyzed. ISP was collected from samples by steam distillation after the addition of an internal standard, deuterium-labeled ISP, then extracted with dichloromethane, cleaned up on a silica gel column, and determined by GC/MS. ISP was barely detected in fish, meat and vegetable samples, but it was detected in rice, wheat, beans and their processed products, miso, soy sauce and fermented soybeans (natto). The maximum level was 8.9 ng/g in miso. The packaging materials of the foods contained little ISP, and so the source of ISP in the foods could not be clarified.  相似文献
