Rotational transformation based on coordinate rotation in Fourier space is a useful technique for simulating wave field propagation between nonparallel planes. This technique is characterized by fast computation because the transformation only requires executing a fast Fourier transform twice and a single interpolation. It is proved that the formula of the rotational transformation mathematically satisfies the Helmholtz equation. Moreover, to verify the formulation and its usefulness in wave optics, it is also demonstrated that the transformation makes it possible to reconstruct an image on arbitrarily tilted planes from a wave field captured experimentally by using digital holography. 相似文献

We have investigated solid electrolyte switches that utilize electrochemical reactions (deposition and dissolution) of metallic ions. The switch turns off or on when a metallic bridge electrochemically forms or dissolves in the solid electrolyte. Each state is nonvolatile and the switching is repeatable up to 105 cycles. The promising application is a programmable switch in a field programmable logic because of its small size (<30 nm) and low ON resistance (<100Ω). A carbon film was produced from polyphenylene (PP) film prepared by electrochemical polymerization of benzene to obtain a uniform and thin film. The PP film (~10μm thick) was transformed into the carbon or graphite film without drastic changes of shape or size. The electrical conductivity of the film was remarkably enhanced by heat-treatment between 600 and 800° C, but further increase in the conductivity was not observed by treating at higher temperatures. This behaviour is considered to correlate with a poor degree of graphitization of the PP film. The carbonization and graphitization mechanisms of the film are discussed in connection with the structure of polyphenylene in the film. 相似文献

The shearing behavior of saturated silty soils has been examined extensively by performing undrained and partially drained (the upper drainage valve of the shear box was open during shearing) ring-shear tests on mixtures of a sandy silt with different loess contents. By performing tests at different initial void ratios, the shear behavior of these silty soils at different initial void ratios is presented and discussed. Undrained-shear-test results showed that the liquefaction phenomena in ring-shear tests were limited within the shear zone; for a given void ratio or interfine void ratio, both the peak and steady-state shear strengths decreased with increase of loess content. The partially drained shear tests revealed that a great reduction in the shear strength could result after the shear failure, due to the buildup of excess pore-water pressure within the shear zone; the magnitude of reduction in shear strength after failure was affected by the initial void ratio, the shear speed after failure, as well as the loess content in the sample. For a given void ratio or interfine void ratio, with increase of loess content, the drained peak shear strength became smaller, while the brittleness index became greater. It was also found that due to localized shearing, the permeability of the soil within the shear box after drained shearing could be three orders of magnitude smaller than before shearing. 相似文献

This paper presents an approach to the problem of estimating the number of exponential functions and the pertinent parameters in the output of a radioactive tracer kinetic process. In particular, application of a criterion called an information theoretical criterion (AIC) for the estimation of the number of exponential functions is proposed; AIC was introduced by Akaike for the estimation of the order of linear dynamical systems and has been successfully applied for statistical model identification in a wide range of fields. Recent developments in computer algorithms, image sensors, and microfabrication technologies make it possible to digitize the whole process of classical holography. This technique, referred to as digitized holography, allows us to create fine spatial three-dimensional (3D) images composed of virtual and real objects. In the technique, the wave field of real objects is captured in a wide area and at very high resolution using the technique of synthetic aperture digital holography. The captured field is incorporated in virtual 3D scenes including two-dimensional digital images and 3D polygon mesh objects. The synthetic field is optically reconstructed using the technique of computer-generated holograms. The reconstructed 3D images present all depth cues like classical holograms but are digitally editable, archivable, and transmittable unlike classical holograms. The synthetic hologram printed by a laser lithography system has a wide viewing zone in full-parallax and give viewers a strong sensation of depth, which has never been achieved by conventional 3D systems. A real hologram as well as the details of the technique is presented to verify the proposed technique. 相似文献

Antioxidant effects of soy-derived isoflavones are predicted to be mediated by the Keap1-Nrf2 pathway. Recently, we constructed an assay system to evaluate the antioxidant effects of dietary phytochemicals in zebrafish and revealed a relationship between these effects and the Keap1-Nrf2 pathway. In this study, we used this system to examine the antioxidant effects of seven isoflavones. Among those seven, equol showed strong antioxidant effects when arsenite was used as an oxidative stressor. The antioxidant effect of equol was also shown in Nrf2-mutant zebrafish nfe2l2afh318, suggesting that this effect was not mediated by the Keap1-Nrf2 pathway. To elucidate this unidentified mechanism, the gene expression profiles of equol-treated larvae were analyzed using RNA-seq and qRT-PCR, while no noticeable changes were detected in the expression of genes related to antioxidant effects, except weak induction of Nrf2 target genes. Because nfe2l2afh318 is an amino acid-substitution mutant (Arg485Lue), we considered that the antioxidant effect of equol in this mutant might be due to residual Nrf2 activity. To examine this possibility, we generated an Nrf2-knockout zebrafish nfe2l2ait321 using CRISPR-Cas9 and analyzed the antioxidant effect of equol. As a result, equol showed strong antioxidant effects even in Nrf2-knockout larvae, suggesting that equol indeed upregulates antioxidant activity in zebrafish in an Nrf2-independent manner. 相似文献
