After the break-up of Czechoslovakia in 1993 the primary metrological standards authority almost fully remained in Slovakia. So we had to build our primary vacuum metrology anew. But we could do it using uptodate techniques that are more effective and they enable us to fulfil our task more effectively and in a shorter time.The steady demand to widen the lower pressure range and a steady demand for maximal accuracy collide with the financial possibilities open to a small country. So it is impossible to follow the classical pattern for the vacuum standards: liquid columns, static expansion system and dynamic expansion system. But it is possible to utilize contemporary progress in construction of piston manometers. This enables us to discard liquid column and static expansion techniques in favour of piston technique [Tesar J, Prazak D. Vacuum 2002; 67: 311, Tesar J, Prazak D, Krajicek Z. In:Proceedings of international symposium on Pressure and Vacuum, 2003. p. 169, Tesar J, Repa P, Prazak D, Krajicek Z, Peksa L. Vacuum 2004; 76: 491.]. Modification of the surfaces of polycarbonate (PC) with the use of a solution of tin (II) chloride renders them hydrophilic. The surface draping is stable against exposure to water and to alcohols. Exposure to alkanes reduces but does not diminish the effect. The method is compatible—in using the same solvent and temperature—with the hydrophobic modification of PC Jankowski et al. ( Lab Chip 11:748–752, 2011). The combination of these methods makes it possible to generate single and multiple monodisperse emulsions with the use of flow-focusing junctions in systems made in PC—material that is suitable for fabrication of multilayer, high throughput microfluidic devices.  相似文献

Glasses of the ternary system ZnO–Bi2O3–P2O5 were prepared and studied in two compositional series 50ZnO–xBi2O3–(50 − x)P2O5 and (50 − y)ZnO–yBi2O3–50P2O5. Two distinct glass-forming regions were found in the 50ZnO–xBi2O3–(50 − x)P2O5 glass series with x = 0–10 and 20–35 mol.% Bi2O3. All prepared Bi2O3-containing glasses reveal a high chemical durability. Small additions of Bi2O3 (∼5 mol.%) improve thermal stability of glasses. All glasses crystallize on heating within the temperature range of 505–583 °C. Structural studies by Raman and 31P MAS NMR spectroscopies showed the rapid depolymerisation of phosphate chains within the first region with x = 0–15 and the presence of isolated Q0 phosphate units within the second region with x = 20–35. Raman studies showed that bismuth is incorporated in the glass structure in BiO6 units and their vibrational bands were observed within the spectral region of 350–700 cm−1. The evolution of properties and the spectroscopic data are both in accordance with a network former effect of Bi2O3.  相似文献

We present several enhancements to model‐reduced fluid simulation that allow improved simulation bases and two‐way solid–fluid coupling. Specifically, we present a basis enrichment scheme that allows us to combine data‐driven or artistically derived bases with more general analytic bases derived from Laplacian eigenfunctions. We handle two‐way solid–fluid coupling in a time‐splitting fashion—we alternately timestep the fluid and rigid body simulators, while taking into account the effects of the fluid on the rigid bodies and vice versa. We employ the vortex panel method to handle solid–fluid coupling and use dynamic pressure to compute the effect of the fluid on rigid bodies. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Zinc sulphide (ZnS) nanoparticles were prepared by an aerosol method from zinc acetate and sodium sulphide (Na2S) aqueous solutions. Aqueous solution of zinc acetate was dispersed into the form of microdroplets, which were introduced by airflow to vigorously stirred aqueous solution of Na2S, which was in excess. Microdroplets served as microreactors, so the reaction took place only in limited volume. Particle size distribution was studied by transmission electron microscopy and by dynamic light scattering measurements. In this work, the equation that allows us to predict the final size distribution of ZnS nanoparticles using exact concentration of zinc acetate was derived and ZnS nanoparticles with predicted mean particle diameter around 50 and 70?nm were successfully synthetised.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Isoflavones and coumestrol from dietary legumes are plant constituents showing multiple beneficial effects on humans. Owing to their ability to bind with mammalian estrogenic receptors and thereby intervention in several kinds of hormone‐related cancers, they have received much attention. Soybean (Glycine max) is currently the major source of isoflavonoids in human diet. However, dozens of tropical and subtropical leguminous species remain unexplored for their isoflavonoids content. RESULTS: We have analyzed 55 extracts from 41 tropical and subtropical legume species used either in human or animal diet by high‐performance liquid chromatography for the content of soy isoflavones, biochanin A, daidzein, daidzin, formononetin, genistein, genistin, sissotrin, ononin and the coumestan coumestrol. Genistein and biochanin A were the most abundant compounds. The highest content of genistein was found in aerial parts of Andira macrothyrsa, seeds of Pachyrhizus tuberosus and aerial parts of Calopogonium mucunoides (598, 250 and 184 µg g?1, respectively) and biochanin A in aerial parts of Cratylia argentea, C. mucunoides and flowers of A. macrothyrsa (76, 53 and 40 µg g?1, respectively). CONCLUSION: None of the samples tested was richer overall source of soy isoflavones and coumestrol than soybean; nevertheless several species (C. mucunoides or A. macrothyrsa) may serve as a promising source of individual compounds. © 2012 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

The aim of the study was to determine if aberrant expression profile of cardiovascular disease associated microRNAs would be able to predict within 10 to 13 weeks of gestation preterm delivery such as spontaneous preterm birth (PTB) or preterm prelabor rupture of membranes (PPROM) in the absence of other pregnancy-related complications (gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, fetal growth restriction, or small for gestational age). In addition, we assessed if aberrant expression profile of cardiovascular disease associated microRNAs would be able to predict preterm delivery before and after 34 weeks of gestation. The retrospective study was performed within the period November 2012 to March 2020. Whole peripheral blood samples were collected from 6440 Caucasian individuals involving 41 PTB and 65 PPROM singleton pregnancies. A control group, 80 singleton term pregnancies, was selected on the base of equal sample storage time. Gene expression of 29 selected cardiovascular disease associated microRNAs was studied using real-time RT-PCR. Downregulation of miR-16-5p, miR-20b-5p, miR-21-5p, miR-24-3p, miR-26a-5p, miR-92a-3p, miR-126-3p, miR-133a-3p, miR-145-5p, miR-146a-5p, miR-155-5p, miR-210-3p, miR-221-3p and miR-342-3p was observed in pregnancies with preterm delivery before 37 (≤36 + 6/7) weeks of gestation. Majority of downregulated microRNAs (miR-16-5p, miR-24-3p, miR-26a-5p, miR-92a-3p, miR-133a-3p, miR-145-5p, miR-146a-5p, miR-155-5p, miR-210-3p, and miR-342-3p) was associated with preterm delivery occurring before 37 (≤36 + 6/7) weeks of gestation. The only miR-210-3p was downregulated in pregnancies with preterm delivery before 34 (≤33 + 6/7) weeks of gestation. The type of preterm delivery also had impact on microRNA gene expression profile. Downregulation of miR-24-3p, miR-92a-3p, miR-155-5p, and miR-210-3p was a common feature of PTB and PPROM pregnancies. Downregulation of miR-16-5p, miR-20b-5p, miR-26a-5p, miR-126-3p, miR-133a-3p, miR-146a-5p, miR-221-3p, and miR-342-3p appeared just in PTB pregnancies. No microRNA was uniquely dysregulated in PPROM pregnancies. The combination of 12 microRNAs (miR-16-5p, miR-20b-5p, miR-21-5p, miR-24-3p, miR-26a-5p, miR-92a-3p, miR-133a-3p, miR-145-5p, miR-146a-5p, miR-155-5p, miR-210-3p, and miR-342-3p, AUC 0.818, p < 0.001, 74.53% sensitivity, 75.00% specificity, cut off > 0.634) equally as the combination of 6 microRNAs (miR-16-5p, miR-21-5p, miR-24-3p, miR-133a-3p, miR-155-5p, and miR-210-3p, AUC 0.812, p < 0.001, 70.75% sensitivity, 78.75% specificity, cut off > 0.652) can predict preterm delivery before 37 weeks of gestation in early stages of gestation in 52.83% pregnancies at 10.0% FPR. Cardiovascular disease associated microRNAs represent promising biomarkers with very good diagnostical potential to be implemented into the current routine first trimester screening programme to predict preterm delivery.  相似文献

CI Acid Black 210 was microencapsulated into liposomic systems, and the effects of the microencapsulation on dyebath exhaustion, depth of shade, colour fastness properties and through‐dyeing of chrome‐tanned leather were studied. In comparison with the original dyestuff form, the microencapsulated dye showed a deeper shade and a greater depth of through‐dyeing. Exhaustion and colour fastness values were the same.  相似文献
