In this study, a new Schiff base (H4TSTE) was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, NMR and MS spectral data. Liquid–liquid extraction process was performed for removal of Cu(II), Mn(II), Ni(II), Pb(II) and Zn(II) from aqueous solutions by means of H4TSTE. The extractions were investigated depending on the concentration of picric acid, metal ion and H4TSTE ligand. Response surface methodology (RSM) was first applied to optimize metal ion-binding properties of H4TSTE. The extraction efficiency was estimated to be >98% for all metals by models. Under the same conditions, the extraction efficiency was experimentally found to be >97% with a relative standard deviation within ±0.10 (N = 4), indicating the suitability of the models.  相似文献

Hydrogenation of phenylacetylene (PA) and 3-phenylpropyne (PP) was carried out using [Rh(diene)Cl]2 complexes (diene is hexadiene (HD), cycloocta-1,5-diene (COD), norborna-2,5-diene (NBD)) in their immobilized forms and compared with hydrogenation in homogeneous arrangement. Immobilization brings significant increase of the catalytic activity and product selectivity in the step-wise hydrogenation to corresponding vinyl-resp. allyl-benzenes. Diene-ligand effect was apparent in PA hydrogenation; the product selectivity decreased in order Rh(HD) > Rh(NBD) > Rh(COD) and catalytic activity decreased in order Rh(HD) > Rh(COD) > Rh(NBD).  相似文献

The aim of this study was to design polymeric nanospheres containing magnetic nanoparticle which could display superparamagnetic behavior and thus find application in allied fields. First magnetite nanoparticles were synthesized with coprecipitation method and then their stable acidic dispersion was prepared without surfactant and dropped into the polymerization system during a certain time interval after the polymerization started. The effects of time at which the magnetic sol was added into polymerization system on latex size and stability, average molecular weight of polymer were examined in the case of two different monomer concentrations. Extensive characterization by transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, thermal gravimetric analysis and magnetic measurements shows that when the magnetic sol was dropped during earlier time of polymerization at stage 1, the latex size, average molecular weight of polymer, thermal stability of polymeric composite, and saturation magnetization reduced, whereas polydispersity of size and molecular weight increased because of the reaction between persulfate and naked surface of magnetite at the aqueous phase. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Perovskite type La0.8Sr0.2Ga0.83Mg0.17O3 powders were prepared via simple polyol method for the first time in literature. Obtained material was characterized by using XRD, SEM, Impedance Spectroscopy and density measurements. Pure LSGM powders were achieved after heat treatment at 1100 °C for 12 h. 87% relative density was obtained after pressing of these powders under 1 MPa and sintering at 1250 °C for 12 h. Average particle size was calculated as 1.77–2.4 μm from SEM micrographs. Overall conductivity of the LSGM pellet was found to be 0.0014 S/cm at 850 °C with impedance analysis and showed that the preparation process needs improvements.  相似文献

Studies of the influence of specimen geometry and size–effect on the K R –curves and the related fracture parameters were carried out by the authors (Kumar and Barai 2008b). The present paper is a supplementary contribution and reports interesting results related to the effect of the loading condition and size–effect studies on the K R –curves associated with the cohesive stress distribution for complete fracture process, the double–K fracture parameters, the CTOD–curves and the process zone length using two different loading conditions (i.e., three–point bending test and four–point bending test). The laboratory size specimen with initial–notch length/depth ratios 0.3 and 0.5 are considered in the work. The load–crack opening displacement curves for these loading conditions are obtained using well known version of fictitious crack model.  相似文献
