ZnO nanowire arrays have been grown on the ZnO film-coated silicon (100) substrates by hydrothermal method, and the deposited
nanowires are found to have a uniform size distribution with sharp hexagonal-shaped tips. The structural and optical properties
of the nanowires were investigated using atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy
(SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and cathodoluminescence (CL) techniques. The XRD and SEM results demonstrate
that the well-aligned ZnO nanowires are single crystalline structure formed along the c-axis orientation. TEM analysis further
confirms that the ZnO nanowires are highly preferred grown along the (002) crystal plane. The spacing between adjacent (002)
lattice planes is estimated as 0.52 nm. The optical properties of the nanowires were measured using CL after annealing in
oxygen and nitrogen atmospheres at 550 °C for various times. The CL spectra in the visible spectrum exhibit two weak deep-level
emission bands that may be attributed to the intrinsic or extrinsic defects. It can be observed that the ZnO nanowires show
different optical behaviors after various annealing times. The dependence of the optical properties on the annealing conditions

One major problem that arises in the design of plastic parts, especially those that are fiber reinforced, is the change of shape and dimension as a result of shrinkage and warpage. These material inhomogeneities are caused by flowinduced fiber orientation, curing, poor thermal mold lay-out, and other processing conditions. This paper presents a simulation that predicts shirnkage and warpage of 3-D compression molded fiber reinforced composite parts. The simulation represents the structure with the 3-noded shell elements used in mold filling simulations. The calculated results indicate that fiber orientation strongly affect the final properties, which vary with different chage locations, have a significant effect on warpage. Unsymmetric curing, caused by uneven mold temperatures, could lead to a thermal moment that could possibly help reduce warpage. 相似文献

TaN-Ag nanocomposite films were deposited by reactive co-sputtering on tool steel substrates. The films were then annealed using RTA (Rapid Thermal Annealing) at 350 °C for 2, 4, 8 min respectively to induce the nucleation and growth of Ag particles in TaN matrix and on film surface. C-AFM (Conductive Atomic force Microscopy) and FESEM (Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy) were applied to examine the Ag nano-particles emerged on the surface of these thin films. A nano-indenter and a pin-on-disk tribometer were used to study the effect of annealing on the films' mechanical properties. The results reveal that annealing by RTA can cause Ag nano-particles to emerge on the TaN surface. Although many brands develop mobile applications (apps) to build relationships with consumers, most branded apps fail to retain consumers’ loyalty. This study examines the facilitation of consumer loyalty toward branded apps (continuance intention, in-app purchase intention, and word-of-mouth intention) from the dual-route perspective. One route is the affective (relationship) route, where brand benefits (functional benefits, experiential benefits, symbolic benefits, and monetary benefits) drive parasocial interactions between consumers and the brand, which, in turn, influences branded app loyalty. The other route is the utility route, where system characteristics (system quality and information quality) affect perceived usefulness, which, in turn, facilitates branded app loyalty. An online survey was conducted, and the research model was empirically tested using partial least squares structural equation modeling. The findings support the dual-route perspective according to which both affective and utilitarian paths facilitate branded app loyalty. The key theoretical contribution of this study is that it moves beyond the utilitarian path and finds the affective (relationship) path to give a more complete picture of the facilitation of consumer loyalty in the branded app context. Activated carbon was prepared from plum kernels by NaOH activation at six different NaOH/char ratios. The physical properties including the BET surface area, the total pore volume, the micropore ratio, the pore diameter, the burn-off, and the scanning electron microscope (SEM) observation as well as the chemical properties, namely elemental analysis and temperature programmed desorption (TPD), were measured. The results revealed a two-stage activation process: stage 1 activated carbons were obtained at NaOH/char ratios of 0-1, surface pyrolysis being the main reaction; stage 2 activated carbons were obtained at NaOH/char ratios of 2-4, etching and swelling being the main reactions. The physical properties of stage 2 activated carbons were similar, and specific area was from 1478 to 1887m(2)g(-1). The results of reaction mechanism of NaOH activation revealed that it was apparently because of the loss ratio of elements C, H, and O in the activated carbon, and the variations in the surface functional groups and the physical properties. The adsorption of the above activated carbons on phenol and three kinds of dyes (MB, BB1, and AB74) were used for an isotherm equilibrium adsorption study. The data fitted the Langmuir isotherm equation. Various kinds of adsorbents showed different adsorption types; separation factor (R(L)) was used to determine the level of favorability of the adsorption type. In this work, activated carbons prepared by NaOH activation were evaluated in terms of their physical properties, chemical properties, and adsorption type; and activated carbon PKN2 was found to have most application potential. 相似文献

Hidden Markov models (HMMs) with bounded state durations (HMM/BSD) are proposed to explicitly model the state durations of HMMs and more accurately consider the temporal structures existing in speech signals in a simple, direct, but effective way. A series of experiments have been conducted for speaker dependent applications using 408 highly confusing first-tone Mandarin syllables as the example vocabulary. It was found that in the discrete case the recognition rate of HMM/BSD (78.5%) is 9.0%, 6.3%, and 1.9% higher than the conventional HMMs and HMMs with Poisson and gamma distribution state durations, respectively. In the continuous case (partitioned Gaussian mixture modeling), the recognition rates of HMM/BSD (88.3% with 1 mixture, 88.8% with 3 mixtures, and 89.4% with 5 mixtures) are 6.3%, 5.0%, and 5.5% higher than those of the conventional HMMs, and 5.9% (with 1 mixture), 3.9% (with 3 mixtures) and 3.1% (with 1 mixture), 1.8% (with 3 mixtures) higher than HMMs with Poisson and gamma distributed state durations, respectively 相似文献
