The current status of lithographic superconducting LC filters for use in the Athena-X-IFU instrument is described. We present the fabrication process and characterization results at room temperature, 4 K and 50 mK. We also present an optimization study of the quality topics, where finite element modeling is used together with experimental validation structures. For the a-Si:H-based capacitors and Nb-based coils, presently the component fabrication yield is about 99% and the effective series resistance at 50 mK is lower than 1.5 mΩ.  相似文献

Electrophoretic separations comprise a group of analytical techniques such as capillary zone electrophoresis, isoelectric focusing, isotachophoresis, and free flow electrophoresis. These techniques have been miniaturized in the last years and now represent one of the most important applications of the lab-on-a-chip technology. A 3D and time-dependent numerical model of electrophoresis on microfluidic devices is presented. The model is based on the set of equations that governs electrical phenomena, fluid dynamics, mass transport, and chemical reactions. The relationship between the buffer characteristics (ionic strength and pH) and surface potential of channel walls is taken into consideration. Numerical calculations were performed by using PETSc-FEM, in a Python environment, employing high performance parallel computing. The method includes a set of last generation preconditioners and solvers, especially addressed to 3D microfluidic problems, which significantly improve the numerical efficiency in comparison with typical commercial software for multiphysics. In this work, after discussing two validation examples, the numerical prototyping of a microfluidic chip for two-dimensional electrophoresis is presented.  相似文献

Biodegradable magnesium alloy stents (MAS) can provide a great benefit for diseased vessels and avoid the long-term incompatible interactions between vessels and permanent stent platforms. However, the existing MAS showed insufficient scaffolding to the target vessels due to short degradation time. In this study, a three dimensional finite element model combined with a degradable material model of AZ31 (Al 0.03, Zn 0.01, Mn 0.002 and Mg balance, mass percentage) was applied to three different MAS designs including an already implanted stent (Stent A), an optimized design (Stent B) and a patented stent design (Stent C). One ring of each design was implanted through a simulation in a vessel model then degraded with the changing interaction between outer stent surface and the vessel. Results showed that a proper stent design (Stent B) can lead to an increase of nearly 120% in half normalized recoil time of the vessel compared to the Stent A; moreover, the expectation that the MAS design, with more mass and optimized mechanical properties, can increase scaffolding time was verified numerically. The Stent C has more materials than Stent B; however, it only increased the half normalized recoil time of the vessel by nearly 50% compared to the Stent A because of much higher stress concentration than that of Stent B. The 3D model can provide a convenient design and testing tool for novel magnesium alloy stents.  相似文献

In this paper, a new adaptive spline activation function neural network (ASNN) is presented. Due to the ASNN's high representation capabilities, networks with a small number of interconnections can be trained to solve both pattern recognition and data processing real-time problems. The main idea is to use a Catmull-Rom cubic spline as the neuron's activation function, which ensures a simple structure suitable for both software and hardware implementation. Experimental results demonstrate improvements in terms of generalization capability and of learning speed in both pattern recognition and data processing tasks.  相似文献

A simple idea of using transformers as impedance adapters between TES and conventional JFET amplifiers, allowing to built an electronic readout system that does not degenerate the signal, will be presented. The theoretical modelling and systematic experimental results of such devices, indicate that there is a frequency range were the amplifier noise is negligible with respect to the TES noise.  相似文献

We present a revisited Ho-163 electron capture decay method as a possible candidate for the neutrino mass determination, proposed in MANU-Genoa in 1997. The present detector performances open new opportunities for self-calibrated, high statistics and eV energy resolution experiments within the context of MARE-1, Genoa. The study, even if at an early stage, indicates that we can take advantage of using detectors with current performances that have been developed for astrophysics applications.  相似文献

This work presents the realization of a Si-based miniaturised device for liquid chromatography (LC), targeted for agrofood applications and in particular for wine quality monitoring. The main modules of the system are: (1) a Si-based separation column, functionalized by n-octyltriethoxysilane (C8-TEOS), with inlet/outlet for fluidic connections; (2) a three-microelectrode voltammetric sensor. The system has been properly packaged and the capability of the sensing module to detect acetic acid concentration changes has been verified.  相似文献

We introduce an innovative algorithm that is capable of suppression of strong azimuth ambiguities in single-look complex (SLC) synthetic aperture radar images, to be used both for detected products and for interferometric surveys. The algorithm exploits a band-pass filter to select that portion of the azimuth spectrum that is less influenced by aliasing, the one that corresponds to the s in the replicated azimuth antenna pattern. The selectivity of this filter adapts locally depending on the estimated ambiguity intensity: the filter is more selective in the presence of strong ambiguities and becomes all-pass in absence of ambiguities. The design of such filter frames in the Wiener approach with two different normalization options, depending on the use of the SLC image, either for getting multilook averaged detected products or for interferometric applications. Preliminary results achieved by processing ENVISAT Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar sensor data are provided.  相似文献

Injectable composite colloidal gels are developed for regeneration of osteoporotic bone defects through a bottom‐up assembly from bisphosphonate‐functionalized gelatin and bioactive glass particles. Upon bisphosphonate functionalization, gelatin nanoparticles show superior adhesion toward bioactive glass particles, resulting in elastic composite gels. By tuning their composition, these composite colloidal gels combine mechanical robustness with self‐healing ability. The composite colloidal gels support cell proliferation and differentiation in vitro without requiring any osteogenic supplement. In vivo evaluation of the composite colloidal gels reveals their capacity to support the regeneration of osteoporotic bone defects. Furthermore, the bisphosphonate modification of gelatin induces a therapeutic effect on the peri‐implantation region by enhancing the bone density of the osteoporotic bone tissue. Consequently, these composite colloidal gels offer new therapeutic opportunities for treatment of osteoporotic bone defects.  相似文献
