The effects of beef tallow-, soya and sunflower olein- and soya bean oil-enriched (3%) diets on the chemical and fatty acid composition of total, a polar and polar lipids of rabbit meat have been studied. No significant differences (P > 0.05) in the meat chemical composition were observed between groups. However, a large effect of the diet on the total and apolar lipid fatty acids was found, with C18:1 and C18:2 the most affected fatty acids. The influence of the diets on the fatty acids of the polar fraction was less marked. It is concluded that the enrichment of the rabbit diet with either soya and sunflower oleins or soya bean oil allows the production of rabbit meat with a higher unsaturation degree than is obtained by using conventional diets, which constitutes an important nutritional benefit to the human being. 相似文献

The purpose of this work was to study the possibility of determination of fermentative volatile compounds in aged red wines using NIR spectroscopy. To achieve this, 240 wines belonging to different geographic zones and elaborated with one or two varieties were analyzed. The volatile compounds were quantified by SBSE-GC–MS. Spectra obtained by NIR were co-related with these values using partial least square (PLS) regression. Calibration and validation statistics showed the quality of the model, after all when is done separately for each of the four geographic zones, and in the case of wines elaborated with two varieties. Consequently, near infrared spectroscopy can be used as an easy and rapid tool to determine fermentative volatile compounds in aged red wines. 相似文献

Poly(l ‐lactic acid) (PLLA) is a biodegradable and biocompatible thermoplastic polyester produced from renewable sources, widely used for biomedical devices, in food packaging and in agriculture. It is a semicrystalline polymer, and as such its properties are strongly affected by the developed semicrystalline morphology. As a function of the crystallization temperature, PLLA can form different crystal modifications, namely α′‐crystals below about 120 °C and α‐crystals at higher temperatures. The α′ modification is therefore of special importance as it may be the preferred polymorph developing at processing‐relevant conditions. It is a metastable modification which typically transforms into the more stable α‐crystals on annealing at elevated temperature. The structure, kinetics of formation and thermodynamics of α′‐ and α‐crystals of PLLA are reviewed in this contribution, together with the effect of α′‐/α‐crystal polymorphism on the properties of PLLA. © 2018 Society of Chemical Industry 相似文献

The advantages and open questions of the combination of modulation excitation spectroscopy and phase sensitive detection (PSD) with X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) for the analysis of heterogeneous catalysts at work are reviewed. The characteristic spectral signatures of two different edges (Pd K and Pt L3) are described in relation to the red-ox chemistry of Pd/Al2O3 and Pt/Al2O3 with respect to NO reduction by CO and CO oxidation, respectively. A hit optimization protocol applied to the first nonnucleoside inhibitor of the ATPase activity of human DEAD-box RNA helicase DDX3 led to the design and synthesis of second-generation rhodanine derivatives with better inhibitory activity toward cellular DDX3 and HIV-1 replication. Additional DDX3 inhibitors were identified among triazine compounds. Biological data were rationalized in terms of structure-activity relationships and docking simulations. Antiviral activity and cytotoxicity of selected DDX3 inhibitors are reported and discussed. A thorough analysis confirmed human DDX3 as a valid anti-HIV target. The compounds described herein represent a significant advance in the pursuit of novel drugs that target HIV-1 host cofactors. 相似文献

Casein kinase 2 (CK2) is a ubiquitous, essential, and highly pleiotropic protein kinase; its abnormally high constitutive activity is suspected to underlie its pathogenic potential in neoplasia and other relevant diseases. Previously, using different in silico screening approaches, two potent and selective CK2 inhibitors were identified by our group: ellagic acid, a naturally occurring tannic acid derivative (K(i)=20 nM) and 3,8-dibromo-7-hydroxy-4-methylchromen-2-one (DBC, K(i)=60 nM). Comparing the crystallographic binding modes of both ellagic acid and DBC, an X-ray structure-driven merging approach was taken to design novel CK2 inhibitors with improved target affinity. A urolithin moiety is proposed as a possible bridging scaffold between the two known CK2 inhibitors, ellagic acid and DBC. Optimization of urolithin A as the bridging moiety led to the identification of 4-bromo-3,8-dihydroxy-benzo[c]chromen-6-one as a novel, potent and selective CK2 inhibitor, which shows a K(i) value of 7 nM against the protein kinase, representing a significant improvement in affinity for the target compared with the two parent fragments. 相似文献

Isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) was used to identify the optimal timolol:functional monomer ratio for preparing soft contact lenses (SCLs) able to sustain drug release. ITC profiles revealed that each timolol molecule required six to eight acrylic acid (AAc) monomers to saturate the binding and that these ratios could be the most suitable for creating imprinted cavities. Various poly(hydroxyethyl methacrylate‐co‐AAc) hydrogels 0.2 and 0.9 mm thick were prepared with timolol:AAc molar ratios ranging from 1 : 6 to 1 : 32 and also in the absence of timolol. The hydrogels were reloaded with timolol by immersion in 0.04, 0.06, 0.08, and 0.10 mM drug solutions. Both imprinted and nonimprinted hydrogels showed a high affinity for the drug because of the presence of AAc. Nevertheless, the 1 : 6 and 1 : 8 imprinted hydrogels loaded less timolol but sustained the release better than the other hydrogels. These differences were explained in terms of the different arrangement of the functional monomers along the network. The imprinting effect was more noticeable in the case of the thinnest hydrogels, where the contribution of the diffusion path to the release rate was smaller. The biosynthesis of the phenolic fraction of olive fruits during ripening and the transformations occurring in this moiety during virgin olive oil (VOO) extraction are discussed in this paper. The influence of agronomical factors that can significantly affect the phenolic profile of VOO is also discussed. Particularly, it is worth emphasizing the role of genetic factors, cultivation and climatic conditions such as water availability, atmospheric temperature, altitude, health status of the fruits, alternate bearing in the olive, and some processing factors such as crushing, malaxation time and temperature or volume of water added during milling. Among these parameters, special attention has been paid to genetic factors due to the high variability observed among Olea europaea genotypes for all recorded traits. In this context, interesting experimental results have been obtained with cultivated and wild olive trees, and also with segregating populations resulting from olive breeding programs. To the authors' knowledge, reviews evaluating the influence of the main factors that contribute to the profile of hydrophilic phenols have not been previously published. The discussion concerning olive breeding programs is a major and novel aspect to be emphasized considering recent trends to obtain new olive cultivars that confer better organoleptic properties and better quality to VOO. 相似文献

The polymorphic structure in specimens of a metallocenic isotactic polypropylene, processed under different conditions, has been studied by means of wide‐angle X‐ray scattering (WAXS), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The proportions of the different polymorphs have been evaluated, and the influence of the processing parameters (nucleating agents, cooling rate, and nature of the surface of the molds) has been analyzed. The combination of WAXS, DSC, and FTIR results confirms the adequacy of this last technique to obtain quantitative information about the competition between the crystalline phases of polypropylene.
