A detailed review of selected drop size measurement techniques capable of application to practical combustion systems is presented. Attention is restricted to those methods producing quantitative drop size frequency distributions and methods yielding mean spray characteristics are ignored. Comment on the relative merits and restrictions of each method, together with its applicability to particular situations, is made. Some of the techniques described can be applied to measurement of angle of flight and velocity of drops, in addition to their size, in both burning and isothermal sprays. This paper presents a formal behavioural specification framework for specifying and verifying the correct behaviour of distributed Fractal components. The first contribution is a parameterised and hierarchical behavioural model called pNets that serves as a low-level semantic framework for expressing the behaviour of various classes of distributed languages and as a common internal format for our tools. Then, we use this model to define the generation of behavioural models for applications ranging from sequential Fractal components, to distributed objects, and finally to distributed components. Our models are able to characterise both functional and non-functional behaviours and the interaction between the two concerns. Finally, this work has resulted in the development of tools allowing the non-expert programmer to specify the behaviour of his components and (semi)automatically verify properties of his application. 相似文献

通过具体的实例说明目前的静电放电(Electrostatic Discharge,ESD)人体模型测试标准EIA/JEDEC尚存在一些需要完善的问题。目前的标准EIA/JEDEC中缺少对起始测试电压的规定,导致有些测试直接从千伏(kV)量级的高压开始进行,造成一些设计不良的ESD防护器件在低压发生失效的状况可能被漏检的后果。本文研究对象为一个漏端带N阱镇流电阻(Nwell-ballast)的GGNMOS(Gate-Grounded NMOS)型ESD防护结构。用Zapmaster对它做人体模型(Human Body Model,HBM)测试,发现从1Kv起测时,能够通过8Kv的高压测试;而从50V起测时,却无法通过350V。TLP测试分析的结果显示此现象确实存在。本文详细剖析了该现象产生的机理,并采用OBIRCH失效分析技术对其进行了佐证。因该问题具有潜在的普遍性,因此提出了对目前业界广泛采用的EIA/JEDEC测试标准进行补充完善的建议。 相似文献

Analysis and design phases, described in previous papers, have been extended with an additional deployment phase. Protein existence in wastewater is an important issue in wastewater management because proteins are generally present as contaminants and foulants. Hence, in this study, we focused on designing a polysulfone (PSf) hollow-fiber membrane embedded with hydrophilic iron oxide nanoparticles (IONPs) for protein purification by means of ultrafiltration. Before membrane fabrication, the dispersion stability of the IONPs was enhanced by the addition of a stabilizer, namely, citric acid (CA). Next, PSf–IONP–CA nanocomposite hollow-fiber membranes were prepared via a dry–wet spinning process and then characterized in terms of their hydrophilicity and morphology. Ultrafiltration and adsorption experiments were then conducted with bovine serum albumin as a model protein. The results that an IONP/CA weight ratio of 1:20 contributed to the most stable IONP dispersion. It was also revealed that the membrane incorporated with IONP–CA at a weight ratio of 1:20 exhibited the highest pure water permeability (58.6 L m−2 h−1 bar−1) and protein rejection (98.5%) while maintaining a low protein adsorption (3.3 μg/cm2).
