The complexation of piroxicam and 2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin by means of supercritical CO2 has been investigated. The experiments were carried out by varying the temperature, pressure and contact time and introducing two different auxiliary agents: polyvinyl pyrrolidone or l-lysine.Cyclodextrins, which are widely used to solubilize a large variety of poorly soluble drugs, are often used in combination with some auxiliary agents to enhance the complexation efficiency of the conventional techniques. While many recent literature works report that supercritical carbon dioxide is a clean, non-toxic alternative to organic solvents, the use of auxiliary agents in the supercritical complexation process has been scarcely examined and still needs to be investigated.The inclusion complexes obtained in this work were analysed by means of the ‘differential solubility method’, differential scanning calorimetry and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The results showed that the supercritical treatment could be successfully employed below 140-150 °C without incurring thermal degradation of the samples. While 66% inclusion efficiency could be obtained at 140 °C and 30 MPa for a mixture of piroxicam/2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (1:2 molar ratio), higher percentages of complexation (95% in the ternary samples with polyvinyl pyrrolidone and 89-91% in those with l-lysine) could be obtained at a lower temperature (130 °C) when auxiliary agents were employed.  相似文献

Novel optically active methacrylic copolymers, bearing carbazole and azoaromatic moieties linked to the main chain with a rigid (S)-hydroxysuccinimide residue of one prevailing absolute configuration, have been prepared and characterized with the aim to establish the effects of the chiral group and of the dipolar interactions between the two side-chain chromophores on their properties.In particular, the observed chiroptical properties suggest the presence of ordered chiral conformations at least for chain segments of the macromolecules. Spectroscopic, thermal and chiroptical characterizations of these copolymers demonstrate the occurrence of significant electronic interactions between carbazole chromophores and azobenzene moieties. These interactions are related to the unusual partially alternating structure of the investigated copolymers and the relevant chiroptical and thermal properties. In fact, the polymeric derivates show high glass transition temperatures and good thermal stability, thus opening the way to a variety of potential applications based on photoconductive and optoelectronic properties.  相似文献

Magnetic magnesium alloys can be utilized as a load sensitive material, in which the inverse magnetostrictive effect is used in order to measure the actual loads in structural components manufactured from such lightweight sensor alloys. To achieve a material which exhibits magnetic properties, Mg is alloyed with ferromagnetic materials like cobalt or samarium-cobalt. Alloying elements commonly used with Mg are utilized to improve the mechanical properties of these alloys, which however may have a slight negative impact on the magnetic sensitivity. In this work, two separate magnetic Mg alloys are compared, each with properties matched to the opposing requirements: (a) high load sensitivity and (b) satisfactory mechanical properties, respectively. The precipitation behavior of the ferromagnetic constituent Co in Mg together with other alloying elements is shown on the basis of SEM images. In addition, the dissolving behavior of the Co powder during the casting process of a binary Mg–Co alloy is investigated. Cyclic loading tests employing harmonic analyses of eddy current signals are utilized in order to verify the alloys’ sensory properties. The mechanical properties are investigated using tensile tests.  相似文献

The input of a waveguide probe for shell eggs was connected to a sinewave sweeper oscillator and the signal at the output was captured by a spectrum analyser. A first analysis was carried out in the range from 3 to 20 GHz with a span of 1 GHz to investigate which 1 GHz frequency range contains most information for predicting the main quality indices of eggs during 15 days of storage. Simple linear regression models were therefore set up and the coefficient of determination was calculated. The absorbance spectra in the range thus identified (from 10.5 to 11.5 GHz) were used to predict the quality indices by means of an artificial neural network (ANN). The R2 values of the obtained ANN in validation mode were 0.918, 0.854 and 0.912 for the air cell, the thick albumen height and the yolk index, respectively. The correlations between the quality parameters and tests carried out on albumen, yolk and plastic eggs for simulating the air cell showed how one index can be indirectly predicted through another one.  相似文献

The device used in the present study consists of a conveyer belt that throws the fruit onto a flat horizontal plate connected to a load cell. The vertical distance between plate and conveyer belt (drop height) as well as the speed of the belt can be continuously adjusted. Tests were carried out by selecting three different values of drop height and speed. The Magness-Taylor (MTf) index was used as reference, destructive parameter, to describe the flesh firmness and to set-up predictive models. The digitalized time history of the force was analysed to extract some mechanical indices (peak force, impact duration and impulse) used to predict MTf by simple or multiple regression analyses. Moreover, each point of the entire time history was processed by artificial neural network (ANN) software to predict MTf. The goodness of fit, expressed as R2, was up to 0.823 with the regression models. On the whole, the peak force was the best predictor. The ANNs did not involve a substantial increase in goodness of fit with respect to the best regression models: +8.3%, as mean, 37% as maximum. The speed or position at which the fruit impacts the plate can represent an important parameter influencing the MTf prediction. Free dropping of the fruit instead of throwing onto the plate by the conveyer did not provide a better prediction. The impact device did not cause mechanical damage to the kiwifruits.  相似文献

Hybrid materials obtained through a Microwave-assisted grafting of organic functional groups on mesoporous silica (MCM-41 type) have been characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, TG-DSC, N2 adsorption, solid state 13C- and 29Si-NMR, TEM and SEM. The studied grafting procedure is effective in the preparation of hybrid organosilicas under solvent-free conditions. Microwaves allows an ultra-fast and clean functionalization of the mesoporous materials and the method has been applied to produce a wide series of functional materials. The hybrid materials maintain the original mesoporous structure when the loading of linked organic groups does not exceed 10 %. In this cases, the slight pore volume reduction is linearly correlated to the organic amount in the product. If functional groups able to interact among them through hydrogen bond are used, hybrid materials exhibit high Organic/SiO2 ratios and low pore volumes due to the formation of a network occluding the pores, where functional groups of free organosilane molecules interacts with the functional groups of molecules linked to the matrix. NMR data confirm that the network is composed by organosilane molecules linked or not to the framework. Acid washing is able to labilize hydrogen bond and open the network. In the case of bulky but chemically inert functionalising agents the network is not produced.  相似文献

The antibiotic feglymycin is a linear 13‐mer peptide synthesized by the bacterium Streptomyces sp. DSM 11171. It mainly consists of the nonproteinogenic amino acids 4‐hydroxyphenylglycine and 3,5‐dihydroxyphenylglycine. An alanine scan of feglymycin was performed by solution‐phase peptide synthesis in order to assess the significance of individual amino acid side chains for biological activity. Hence, 13 peptides were synthesized from di‐ and tripeptide building blocks, and subsequently tested for antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus strains. Furthermore we tested the inhibition of peptidoglycan biosynthesis enzymes MurA and MurC, which are inhibited by feglymycin. Whereas the antibacterial activity is significantly based on the three amino acids D ‐Hpg1, L ‐Hpg5, and L ‐Phe12, the inhibitory activity against MurA and MurC depends mainly on L ‐Asp13. The difference in the position dependence for antibacterial activity and enzyme inhibition suggests multiple molecular targets in the modes of action of feglymycin.  相似文献

The introduction of high‐efficiency desiccant rotors with the possibility of being regenerated by low‐temperature heat offers new opportunities to the desiccant technique in the field of air conditioning. The use of energy recovered from the condensers of the chillers or from CHP units to obtain humidity control in buildings involves a remarkable fall in the energy and operating costs for air conditioning especially in a mild climate. The reduction of installed cooling capacity is also important. The performance of air handling units that include these drying wheels are here compared with those of traditional solutions, both in energy and economic terms. The results are very promising. We report how dodecanethiol (DT) surfactant can be used as a good dispersant to solubilize octadecylamine functionalized single-walled carbon nanotubes (ODA-SWCNTs) in order to confine them in the polystyrene phase of the polystyrene-b-polyisoprene-b-polystyrene (SIS) block copolymer matrix. It has been also demonstrated how the block copolymer matrix is not able to self-assemble in ordered morphology when the ODA-SWCNTs are not modified with the surfactant. DT assisted confinement of carbon nanotubes into the PS phase causes not only the nanostructuration of the host polymer matrix but also switches the self-assembled nanostructure from ordered cylinders in the case of neat SIS to a self-assembled lamellar nanostructure.  相似文献
