Myocardial infarction is one of the major causes of mortality worldwide and is a main cause of heart failure. This disease appears as a final point of atherosclerotic plaque progression, destabilization, and rupture. As a consequence of cardiomyocytes death during the infarction, the heart undergoes unfavorable cardiac remodeling, which results in its failure. Therefore, therapies aimed to limit the processes of atherosclerotic plaque progression, cardiac damage during the infarction, and subsequent remodeling are urgently warranted. A hopeful therapeutic option for the future medicine is targeting and regulating non-coding RNA (ncRNA), like microRNA, circular RNA (circRNA), or long non-coding RNA (lncRNA). In this review, the approaches targeted at ncRNAs participating in the aforementioned pathophysiological processes involved in myocardial infarction and their outcomes in preclinical studies have been concisely presented.  相似文献

The authors determined conditions for manufacturing PAN precursor fibers containing a system of two nanoadditives, montmorillonite (MMT), and hydroxyapatite (HAp) in their structure. The PAN precursor fibers thus obtained are characterized by a tenacity of more than 30 cN/tex and a total volume of pores at the level of 0.29 cm3/g. Furthermore, it was found that the use of nanoadditives entails the remodeling of the paracrystalline structure of PAN fibers into a strictly crystalline one. This is accompanied by a decrease in spacing between MMT layers combined with their partial exfoliation. Properties of capacitors working with the same carbon electrodes (activated carbon cloth) and three types of electrolytes: aqueous, organic and ionic liquids were compared. Capacitors filled with ionic liquids worked at a potential difference of 3.5 V, their solutions in AN and PC were charged up to the potential difference of 3 V, classical organic systems to 2.5 V and aqueous to 1 V. Cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charging/discharging and impedance spectroscopy were used to characterize these capacitors. The highest specific energy was recorded for the device working with ionic liquids, while the highest power is characteristic for the device filled with aqueous H2SO4 electrolyte. Aqueous electrolytes led to energy density an order of magnitude lower in comparison to that characteristic of ionic liquids.  相似文献

Sphingolipid metabolites, such as ceramide and sphingosine-1-phosphate (SPP), are emerging as a new class of second messengers involved in cellular proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Nerve growth factor (NGF), a neurotrophic factor for pheochromocytoma PC12 cells, induced a biphasic increase in the activity of sphingosine kinase, the enzyme that catalyzes the formation of SPP. This activation was blocked by K252a, an inhibitor of tyrosine kinase A (trkA). A rapid 1.7-fold increase was followed by a marked prolonged increase reaching a maximum of fourfold to fivefold stimulation with a concomitant increase in SPP levels and a corresponding decrease in endogenous sphingosine levels. Levels of ceramide, the precursor of sphingosine, were only slightly decreased by NGF in serum-containing medium. However, NGF decreased the elevation of ceramide induced by serum withdrawal. Treatment of PC12 cells with SPP did not induce neurite outgrowth or neurofilament expression, yet it enhanced neurofilament expression elicited by suboptimal doses of NGF. Moreover, SPP also protected PC12 cells from apoptosis induced by serum withdrawal. To further substantiate a role for SPP in the cytoprotective actions of NGF, we found that N, N-dimethylsphingosine, a competitive inhibitor of sphingosine kinase, also induced apoptosis and interfered with the survival effect of NGF. These effects were counteracted by exogenous SPP. Moreover, other structurally related compounds, such as dihydrosphingosine 1-phosphate and lysophosphatidic acid, had no significant protective effects. Our results suggest that activation of sphingosine kinase and subsequent formation of SPP may play an important role in the differentiation and survival effects induced by NGF.  相似文献

The corrosion behavior of eight low and high alloy steels was investigated under simulating the conditions at the cathode of a molten carbonate fuel cell at 650°C. Different Li-containing iron oxides (LiFeO2 and LiFe5O8) were formed in contact with the eutectic (Li, K)-carbonate melt depending on the Cr-content of the steel. These oxides show low solubility in the melt and protect the metallic material against further corrosive attack last growing scales of Fe3O4 and LiFe5O8 were observed on the low alloy ferritic steel 10 CrMo 9 10. Higher alloy steels form LiFeO2 in contact with the melt and mixed Fe-Cr-spinels underneath. Steels with Cr-contents over 20 wt.% Cr form a mixed LiCr1-xFexO2 and LiCrO2 layer in contact with the metal. Marker experiments on the commercial steel 1.4404 (X2 CrNiMo 17 13 2) show that the outer LiFeO2 layer grows mainly by outward diffusion of iron ions (Fe3+), whereas the inner (Fe,Ni)Cr2O4 spinel layer grows inward. After 500 hours, LiFe5O8 was formed between the spinel and the LiFeO2 layer, but it had disappeared after several thousand hours of exposure as it was fully transformed to LiFeO2. Co-containing LiFeO2 was found after 500 hours on the high Co-containing steel 1.4971 (X12 CrCoNi 21 20), but is not stable after several thousand hours exposure. Co diffuses outward to form a protective LiCoO2 layer of a few microns in thickness. Protective Cr2O3 layers were not observed on steels with high Cr-content (≥ 25 wt.% Cr) due to peroxide ions in the melt, which cause oxidation Cr2O3 and flux to chromate, which is highly soluble in the melt. Further quantitative investigations on total corrosion considering the chromate formation have shown that high alloy steels with high amounts of Cr form mainly K2CrO4.  相似文献

Distributions of the specific absorption rate (SAR) were measured in a full-scale heterogeneous model of man. The model contained a skeleton, brain, lungs, and muscle. All these tissues had dielectric properties close to those of the respective in vivo properties of actual tissues at the test frequencies. SAR's were measured for exposures in the far field at 160, 350, and 915 MHz for the E and H polarizations. A computer-controlled scanning system and an implantable, minimally perturbing electric field probe were used. The results are also compared with the SAR distributions previously measured in a homogeneous model.  相似文献

Studied whether the amplitude of the visual EP is reduced during hypnotic hallucination in which the S is instructed to perceive visual stimuli as diminished in brightness or obstructed from view. The visual EP responses of 6 high- and 6 low-hypnotizable Ss (aged 18–33 yrs) and of 6 undergraduate controls were compared in 3 hypnotic conditions: stimulus enhancement, stimulus diminution, and stimulus elimination (obstructive hallucination). ANOVA revealed that high-hypnotizable Ss demonstrated significant suppression of the later components of the EP response (N? and P?) while experiencing obstructive hallucinations, indicating a change in information processing.
