The effect of esterification with rapeseed oil fatty acids on the oxidation reactions of sitosterol, campesterol and sitostanol was investigated, as well as the interactions between phytosterol/stanol compounds and the saturated lipid matrix at 100 °C and 180 °C. Free and esterified phytosterols differed in their reactivity in terms of the formation and profile of secondary oxidation products. Phytosteryl esters were more reactive than free phytosterols during prolonged heating at 100 °C. In contrast, free phytosterols were slightly more reactive than phytosteryl esters at 180 °C. The oxidation reactions of phytostanol compounds were low under all conditions studied. Changes in the phytosterol compounds during heating were also studied via the losses in the original phytosterol contents. This study revealed that the formation of secondary oxides did not account for all the phytosterol losses; this indicates the presence of other oxidation products, especially at 180 °C, and during the heating of free sitosterol. Thus, in order to understand the overall deterioration of phytosterol and phytostanol compounds, both the secondary oxide formation and the sterol loss need to be studied. The deterioration of the saturated lipid matrix used in this study was rather low and was mainly associated with the heating temperature and time. 相似文献

The aim of this study was to compare materials transfer at a construction site, either by carrying manually or by using an elevator. Data were collected at a construction site by using two methods: continuous automatic collection of data on the use of the elevator, and measuring and observing the transportation of some products when different delivery systems were used. Health and safety risks were at their highest when transporting products manually at construction sites. Risks decrease when vertical (an elevator) and horizontal (a wheeled device) transportation tools are used. A similar improvement as in health and safety risks can be seen in efficiency results: The working time needed with the elevator was 41% of the purely manual handling time. When wheeled devices were used, the transportation time was decreased to 16%. The early use of a permanent elevator succeeded well and its capacity was large enough. Airborne discrete-return LIDAR data in the estimation of vertical canopy cover, angular canopy closure and leaf area index 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
Remote sensing of forest canopy cover has been widely studied recently, but little attention has been paid to the quality of field validation data. Ecological literature has two different coverage metrics. Vertical canopy cover (VCC) is the vertical projection of tree crowns ignoring within-crown gaps. Angular canopy closure (ACC) is the proportion of covered sky at some angular range around the zenith, and can be measured with a field-of-view instrument, such as a camera. We compared field-measured VCC and ACC at 15° and 75° from the zenith to different LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) metrics, using several LiDAR data sets and comprehensive field data. The VCC was estimated to a high precision using a simple proportion of canopy points in first-return data. Confining to a maximum 15° scan zenith angle, the absolute root mean squared error (RMSE) was 3.7-7.0%, with an overestimation of 3.1-4.6%. We showed that grid-based methods are capable of reducing the inherent overestimation of VCC. The low scan angles and low power settings that are typically applied in topographic LiDARs are not suitable for ACC estimation as they measure in wrong geometry and cannot easily detect small within-crown gaps. However, ACC at 0-15° zenith angles could be estimated from LiDAR data with sufficient precision, using also the last returns (RMSE 8.1-11.3%, bias -6.1-+4.6%). The dependency of LiDAR metrics and ACC at 0-75° zenith angles was nonlinear and was modeled from laser pulse proportions with nonlinear regression with a best-case standard error of 4.1%. We also estimated leaf area index from the LiDAR metrics with linear regression with a standard error of 0.38. The results show that correlations between airborne laser metrics and different canopy field characteristics are very high if the field measurements are done with equivalent accuracy. 相似文献

Obtaining more structural information of human dopamine D(2) receptor may help in the design of better therapeutic agents against diseases such as Parkinson. In this study attempts have been made to develop a functional model for the catechol binding site of the human dopamine D(2) receptor, with two primary models being postulated based on the presence of a disulfide bridge in the second extracellular loop. The models have been subjected to subsequent molecular dynamics simulation and receptor based virtual screening of catechol structures. During steady state of the simulations, representative models with the reduced disulfide bridge were more capable of discriminating between active and inactive catechol structures. It is postulated that similar conformational changes of the second extracellular loop observed in 5-HT4 and β-adrenergic receptors, might also take place in the human D(2) receptor during its interaction with agonist ligands. 相似文献
