The purpose of this study is to develop measuring methods for the thermal diffusivity, the specific heat capacity, and the density of molten salts, as well as to measure these properties of mixtures of alkaline carbonate salts. The thermal diffusivity is measured by the stepwise heating method. The sample salt is poured into a thin container, and as a result, a three-layered cell is formed. The thermal diffusivity is obtained from the ratio of temperature rises at different times measured at the rear surface of the cell when the front surface is heated by the stepwise energy from an iodine lamp. The specific heat capacity is measured using an adiabatic scanning calorimeter. The density is measured by Archimedes' principle. Thermal conductivity is determined from the above properties. In sub-100-nm generation, gate-tunneling leakage current increases and dominates the total standby leakage current of LSIs based on decreasing gate-oxide thickness. Showing that the gate leakage current is effectively reduced by lowering the gate voltage, we propose a local dc level control (LDLC) for SRAM cell arrays and an automatic gate leakage suppression driver (AGLSD) for peripheral circuits. We designed and fabricated a 32-kB 1-port SRAM using 90-nm CMOS technology. The six-transistor SRAM cell size is 1.25 /spl mu/m/sup 2/. Evaluation shows that the standby current of 32-kB SRAM is 1.2 /spl mu/A at 1.2 V and room temperature. It is reduced to 7.5% of conventional SRAM. 相似文献

A GaAs MESFET with a partially depleted p layer that has a specific application to SRAMs has been developed. The short-channel effect is well suppressed for gate lengths down to 0.5 μm by a rather dense p layer buried under the channel. Its acceptor ion dose is as high as 2×1012 cm-2, which corresponds to a partially depleted condition. As for applications for SRAMs, it is possible to attain fully functional 7-ns 4-kb SRAMs that are operative at 75°C by using the FET with a 1-μm gate. The first reported case of small hepatic angiomyolipoma to be diagnosed by fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) is described. A 53 year old man presented with a tumour in segment VI of the liver measuring 0.9 x 0.8 cm. The tumour was hyperechoic on ultrasound examination, showed relatively low density (+ 33 Hounsfield units) on computed tomography (CT), and was hypervascular on angiography. Computed tomography during arterial portography demonstrated a perfusion defect. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed high intensity by both T1- and T2-weighted imaging. Diagnosis could not be obtained by these imaging modalities, but it was established successfully by FNAB under ultrasound guidance. Histologically, the tumour was an angiomyolipoma made up of three components: blood vessels, smooth muscle and fatty tissue. Surgery is unnecessary for this benign condition, and the patient has been followed up. Ten months later, the patient is currently doing well without growth of the hepatic angiomyolipoma. 相似文献

The configurational sequences of 1,2-unit in a series of hydrogenated syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadienes were investigated in relation to the sequence distribution of 1,2- and 1,4-units. The signals at 10.20–10.94 ppm were assigned to the methyl carbons in the isolated 1,2-unit, the 1,2-1,2 dyad sequence flanked by 1,4-unit, and the 1,2-1,2-1,2 triad sequence, in order of increasing magnetic field. The splittings due to the configurational sequences were observed in the signals, reflecting the dyad and triad sequences of the 1,2-unit, which were assigned by considering the relative intensity of the signals and also the chemical shifts of model polymers. 相似文献

Thirty-seven joints in 36 patients with a fractured carpal scaphoid were evaluated by three-phase bone scintigraphy. They were classified into two groups according to their progress. Some were in good clinical condition and some in a non-union condition. Increased blood flow in the radial arteries and ample perfusion on and around the scaphoid bones on blood flow images suggested a good clinical course. The activity and the effectiveness of remodeling correlated well with the degree of scaphoid uptake on blood pool images taken more than seven days after the injury. Scaphoid uptake was more localized or there was almost none on blood pool images in cases with nearly complete recovery while it was amply visualized on static images. Blood pool images were indispensable for analyzing lesions and evaluating the clinical course. Two typical findings of scaphoid fractures were found on both blood pool and static images. One was diffusely increased scaphoid uptake seen in cases with a good clinical course, and the other was decreased uptake at proximal fragments seen in cases with non-union. It is concluded that three-phase bone scintigraphy provides useful information for evaluating the process of scaphoid fractures which cannot be obtained by means of conventional bone scintigraphy. 相似文献

Construction of 275-kV and 500-kV substations in densely populated areas is thought to be necessary in the future to maintain a stable supply of electricity. The use of gas-insulated transformers is now considered for substations because such transformers are non-flammable and nonexplosive. Since the completion of the 77-kV gas-insulated transformer in 1979, we have continued research to develop gas-insulated transformers applicable to a higher voltage level up to 500 kV. Interaction of sodium dodecyl sulfate and of non-ionic detergents with S-carboxyamidomethyl-k-casein
Sodium dodecyl sulfate binds to S-carboxyamidomethyl-k-casein in a highly cooperative manner at a concentration near the critical micelle concentration, showing a strong dependence on ionic strength. The maximum number of sodium dodecyl sulfate molecules bound is attained above the critical micelle concentration, and is very close to the micelle aggregation number in the absence of protein. The binding sites on the protein for sodium dodecyl sulfate are localized mainly on para-k-casein part, which is a hydrophobic fragment of k-casein produced by rennin attack. The mode of the action of sodium dodecyl sulfate on S-carboxyamidomethyl-k-casein resembles that of several integral membrane proteins, rather than of water soluble proteins. On considering possible situations, it is suggested that the unusual interaction of S-carboxyamidomethyl-k-casein with sodium dodecyl sulfate is responsible for an anomalous migration of reduced k-casein observed in sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Further, the suggestion was made by the binding studies of sodium dodecyl sulfate and non-ionic detergents that the sites which were involved in self-association of S-carboxyamidomethyl-k-casein participated in the binding sites of detergents. 相似文献

Since June 6, 2002, psilocin and psilocybin-containing fungi (commonly called "magic mushrooms") have been regulated by the Narcotics and Psychotropics Control Law in Japan. However, various fly agaric-related products are now entering the Japanese market via the internet. In this study, fly agaric-related products available in this way were investigated for raw materials by DNA analysis and for additives by chemical analysis. Nucleotide sequence analysis of the mitochondrial 12S rDNA region suggested that these fly agaric-related products originate from A. muscaria or A. muscaria var. persicina. Furthermore, they were classified into three strains based on the ITS2-LSU nucleotide sequence. Harmine derivatives and/or tryptamine derivatives were detected in some of these products by LC/MS analysis. In accordance with this, the matK gene of Peganum harmala was found in all of the harmine derivative-containing samples. 相似文献
