The strength of alumina green samples prepared by uniaxial pressing of powders spray-dried with two binders such as poly(ethylene glycol) or poly(vinyl alcohol) is discussed in terms of (i) the adhesive properties of the polymer-rich external layer of spray-dried granules and (ii) the mechanical properties of this layer. A transition from intra- to intergranular fracture is observed when the glass transition temperature of the binder increases. The influence of the binder on the defect size distribution in the green products is investigated using the classical Weibull statistics.  相似文献

The packet scheduling in router plays an important role in the sense to achieve QoS differentiation and to optimize the queuing delay, in particular when this optimization is accomplished on all routers of a path between source and destination. In a dynamically changing environment a good scheduling discipline should be also adaptive to the new traffic conditions. We model this problem as a multi-agent system in which each agent learns through continual interaction with the environment in order to optimize its own behaviour. So, we adopt the framework of Markov decision processes applied to multi-agent system and present a pheromone-Q learning approach which combines the Q-multi-learning technique with a synthetic pheromone that acts as a communication medium speeding up the learning process of cooperating agents.  相似文献

Tin oxide nanophases or nanoparticles were synthesized under conventional- and microwave-hydrothermal conditions and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, BET surface area determination as well as transmission electron microscopy. The use of microwave-hydrothermal (M-H) process led to higher yields in shorter time compared to the conventional-hydrothermal (C-H) process because of increased reaction rates in the former.  相似文献

The synthesis and anti-HIV evaluation of hitherto unknown 3′-fluoro-5′-norcarbocyclic nucleoside phosphonates bearing adenine with modifications at the 4′ position (ethynyl, vinyl, ethyl, hydroxymethyl) is described. One of the synthesized compounds was found to be an inhibitor of HIV-1 replication, but with moderate efficiency relative to (R)-9-(2-phosphonylmethoxypropyl)adenine ((R)-PMPA, tenofovir), with no concomitant cytotoxicity.  相似文献

This paper presents the results of a study which has been carried out to investigate the crevice corrosion behavior of high-alloy stainless steel in a SWRO pilot plant. The study evaluated the corrosion performance of some austenitic and duplex steels in a crevice-forming environment created in a RO plant, especially in high-pressure feed and brine lines. The study of the effect of chemical dosing on crevice corrosion in the RO plant and electrochemical testing of crevice corrosion in the laboratory were the main objectives of this test program. High-alloy stainless steels, namely AL 6XN® and 254 SMO (superaustenitic), 2205, 2507 and DP3W (Duplex) were used in the test program. The tests were carried out in natural seawater and RO concentrate (conductivity: 75,000 to 80,000 μS/cm) at ambient temperature by operating the test plant at normal SWRO operating feed pressure of 54 bar. FeCl3 was added as coagulant to maintain a silt density index of ∼3, and H2SO4 was added to feed in order to maintain the feed pH of ∼ 6.5. Chlorination and subsequent dechlorination agents were not added to the feed. For crevice corrosion tests in RO unit, the exposure periods were 6 and 12 months, respectively. The results of the tests showed that alloy DP3W has the best pitting resistance in crevice forming environment of seawater. In RO concentrate, alloys 2507 and 254 SMO showed lowest “maximum pit depth”. The results of potentiodynamic cyclic polarization (PCP) indicate that all the alloys have high pitting potential and small hysteresis loop. The results of critical crevice solution pH (CCSpH) indicated excellent resistance of alloys 254 SMO and DP3W against crevice corrosion attack and 2205 had least resistance in most aggressive sodium chloride solution.  相似文献

Regioregular polythiophene-based conductive copolymers with highly crystalline nanostructures are shown to hold considerable promise as the active layer in volatile organic compound (VOC) chemresistor sensors. While the regioregular polythiophene polymer chain provides a charge conduction path, its chemical sensing selectivity and sensitivity can be altered either by incorporating a second polymer to form a block copolymer or by making a random copolymer of polythiophene with different alkyl side chains. The copolymers were exposed to a variety of VOC vapors, and the electrical conductivity of these copolymers increased or decreased depending upon the polymer composition and the specific analytes. Measurements were made at room temperature, and the responses were found to be fast and appeared to be completely reversible. Using various copolymers of polythiophene in a sensor array can provide much better discrimination to various analytes than existing solid state sensors. Our data strongly indicate that several sensing mechanisms are at play simultaneously, and we briefly discuss some of them.  相似文献

This contribution focused on the solubility improvement of the poorly water-soluble steroid hormone progesterone which, in its natural state, presents a reduced oral bioavailability. In the first part of this study, two simple, reproducible methods that were candidates for use in the preparation of inclusion complexes with cyclodextrins were investigated. Solubility capacities of the progesterone complex with hydroxypropyl-β-CD (HPβ-CD), hydoxypropyl-γ-CD (HPγ-CD), permethyl-β-CD (PMβ-CD), and sulfobutylether-β-CD (SBEβ-CD), prepared by the freeze-drying and precipitation methods, were evaluated by Higuchi phase solubility studies. The results showed that HPβ-CD and PMβ-CD were the most efficient among the four cyclodextrins for the solubilization of progesterone, with the highest apparent stability constants. Therefore, dissolution studies were conducted on these latest progesterone/cyclodextrin complexes and physical mixtures. Two additional natural cyclodextrins, β-CD and γ-CD, were taken as references. Hence, the influence of more highly soluble derivatives of β-CD (HPβ-CD, PMβ-CD) on the progesterone dissolution rate, in comparison to pristine β-CD, alongside an increase in the cavity width for γ-CD versus β-CD, were investigated. The dissolution kinetics of progesterone dissolved from HPβ-CD, PMβ-CD, and γ-CD revealed higher constant rates in comparison to β-CD. Therefore, the aim of the second part of this study was to investigate the possibility of improving the dissolution rate of progesterone/β-CD binary systems upon formation of ternary complexes with the hydrophilic polymer, PEG 6000, as β-CD had the smallest progesterone solubility and dissolution capacity among the four cyclodextrins studied (β-CD, HPβ-CD, HPγ-CD and PMβ-CD). The results indicated that dissolution constant rates were considerably enhanced for the 5% and 10% progesterone/β-CD complexes in PEG 6000.

The interaction of progesterone with the cyclodextrins of interest on the form of the binary physical mixtures, complexes, or ternary complexes were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Fourier transformed-infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). The results proved that progesterone was diffused into the cyclodextrin cavity, replacing the water molecules and, in case of ternary systems, that the progesterone β-cyclodextrin was well dispersed into PEG, thus improving progesterone bioavailability for subsequent oral delivery in the same way as derivatized cyclodextrins. The present work proves that ternary complexes are promising systems for drug encapsulation.  相似文献

In this article, we present a systematic study of precipitation kinetics in a Fe-Si-Ti alloy in the temperature range 723?K to 853?K (450?°C to 580?°C), combining complementary tools (transmission electron microscopy (TEM), atom probe tomography (APT), and small-angle neutron scattering (SANS)). We show that the Heusler phase Fe2SiTi dominates the precipitation process in the investigated time and temperature range, regardless of the details of the initial temperature history. A numerical model based on the evolution of precipitate size classes gives very good agreement with the experimental results, and its application to different alloy compositions provides directions for future alloy optimization.  相似文献

Brass alloy is widely used because of some attractive properties such as high electrical and thermal conductivity. But its fatigue performance after surface treatment is not very well explored in literature. Thus, in the present work, particular emphasis was given to the influence of surface treatment by shot peening on the fatigue life of brass alloy, throughout surface roughness and microstructural evolution. Fatigue tests were performed on unpeened, peened and peened then polished specimens. Various times of surface hardening treatment as 30, 60 and 120 min were considered. Experimental results reveal that the fatigue life of peened brass alloy decrease for all studied hardening treatment conditions. Surface roughness and microstructural properties showed large sensitivity to the shot peening process of brass alloy.  相似文献
