To use carbon nanotubes (CNTs) as anode material for the solid‐state thin‐film Li‐ion rechargeable battery, the tubes are preferred to be aligned perpendicular to a substrate and the CNT thin film to have a smooth surface. Using an Ar‐ion sputtering technique, we carried out the surface modifications of the CNT thin film prepared by the SiC surface decomposition method. In order to evaluate the surface modification, the surface and cross section of the modified CNT film were investigated by field‐emission scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy. © 2012 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. Trypsins from the pyloric ceca of jacopever (Sebastes schlegelii), TR-J, and elkhorn sculpin (Alcichthys alcicornis), TR-E, were purified by gel filtration on Sephacryl S-200 and Sephadex G-50. The molecular weights of TR-J and TR-E were estimated to be 24,000 Da by sodium dodecyl sulfate–polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. TR-J and TR-E revealed optimum temperatures of 60 and 50 °C, respectively, and showed the same optimum pH (pH 8.0) for hydrolysis of N-p-tosyl-l-arginine methyl ester. TR-J and TR-E were unstable at above 50 and 40 °C, respectively, and were more stable at alkaline pH than at acidic pH. Thermal stabilities of TR-J and TR-E were highly calcium dependent. These purified trypsin enzymes were inhibited by serine protease inhibitors, such as TLCK and soybean trypsin inhibitor. The N-terminal amino acid sequences of TR-J and TR-E were also investigated. The N-terminal amino acid sequences of TR-J, IVGGYECKPYSQPHQVSLNS, and TR-E, IVGGYECTPHSQAHQVSLNS, were found, and these sequences showed highly homology to other fish trypsins. 相似文献

Abstract The crystalline structure, dielectric relaxation and ferroelectric properties of the solid solution, Nd x Bi4-x Ti3O12 (NBIT) compound were measured. The Curie temperature of the NBIT ceramics was determined to be 490°C from dielectric measurements. The dielectric constant of the NBIT ceramics shows a small anisotropic property. Polarization switching was observed using a Sawyer-Tower circuit at 50 Hz. Remnant polarizations and coercive fields could not be confirmed since the hysteresis loops were not saturated. The large dielectric relaxation is observed in the frequency range between 100 kHz and 1 MHz. 相似文献

A novel approach for ultra‐deep desulfurization of diesel fuel was proposed, in which the original fuel was treated by light irradiation before adsorptive desulfurization (ADS) over the TiO2–CeO2/MCM‐48 adsorbent under ambient conditions. A superior capacity of 95 cm3‐fuel/g‐adsorbent (32 times higher than that of the original fuel) was achieved. The promoting effect of light irradiation was likely through in situ peroxides generation in fuel under visible light/sunlight, which may oxidize organosulfur to form strongly adsorbed sulfones over the adsorbent. 相似文献

A submillimeter (385–500 GHz) low-noise sideband-separating balanced SIS (Superconductor Insulator Superconductor) mixer (Balanced 2SB mixer) with high IRR (Image Rejection Ratio) has been successfully developed, whose SSB (Single SideBand) noise temperature is ~ 200 K (10hf/k) with an image rejection ratio of ≥?~10 dB. Balanced mixers have become a promising technology which would break through the limitation especially in terahertz receivers and heterodyne arrays. However, though there are examples in microwave with relatively worse noise performance, submillimeter and terahertz balanced mixers have rarely been developed in spite of their astronomical importance. The developed balanced 2SB mixer is not only the first one demonstrated at submillimeter frequency range, but also has very low noise, high IRR, wide detectable frequencies (385–500 GHz), and a flat IF output spectrum. The balanced 2SB mixer is composed of three RF hybrids, four DSB (Double SideBand) mixers, two 180° IF hybrids, and an IF quadrature hybrid. Several important performance indicators such as noise temperature, IRR, required LO (Local Oscillator) power, and IF spectra were measured. Disturbance waves play an important role in interfacial transfer of mass, momentum and energy in annular two-phase flow. In spite of their importance, majority of the experimental data available in literature on disturbance wave properties such as velocity, frequency, wavelength and amplitude are limited to near atmospheric conditions (Azzopardi, B.J., 1997. Drops in annular two-phase flow. International Journal of Multiphase Flow, 23, 1-53). In view of this, air-water annular flow experiments have been conducted at three pressure conditions (1.2, 4.0 and 5.8 bar) in a tubular test section having an inside diameter 9.4 mm. At each pressure condition liquid and gas phase flow rates are varied over a large range so that the effects of density ratio, liquid flow rate and gas flow rate on disturbance wave properties can be studied systematically. A liquid film thickness is measured by two flush mounted ring shaped conductance probes located 38.1 mm apart. Disturbance wave velocity, frequency, amplitude and wavelength are estimated from the liquid film thickness measurements by following the statistical analysis methods. Parametric trends in variations of disturbance wave properties are analyzed using the non-dimensional numbers; liquid phase Reynolds number (Ref), gas phase Reynolds number (Reg), Weber number (We) and Strouhal number (Sr). Finally, the existing correlations available for the prediction of disturbance wave velocity and frequency are analyzed and a new, improved correlation is proposed for the prediction of disturbance wave frequency.
