This paper will present the characteristics of flow behavior and thermal field of both free and
impingement jet issued from a circular orifice nozzle at Re=8900.The flow behavior of a single round
jet and impingement jet was observed by smoke flow visualization recorded by a high speed camera
using 5000 frame per second.Heat transfer coefficient on the impingement surface was measured by
means of infrared camera (TVS-8500,Avio) with a two-dimensional array of Indeum-Antimony (In Sb)
sensors varying in the separation distance between the nozzle and the target plate.The heat transfer
coefficient changes in time and spatial.Therefore,the root mean square distribution of the heat
transfer was obtained from the data.As a result,it was confirmed that the longitudinal vortex was
observed outside of the ring vortex,and then the longitudinal vortex was penetrated in the jet
flow.Moreover,the high value of root mean square of the heat transfer coefficient has spread radially
in stripy manner,which is caused as the results of the longitudinal vortexes flowing in the radial

Silica-modified titanium oxide (S-TiO2) powders that have an anatase structure were synthesized via the thermal decomposition of mixtures of titanium(IV) isopropoxide (TIP) and tetramethyl orthosilicate (TMOS) in toluene at 300°C. These S-TiO2 materials had high rutile-transformation temperatures and maintained large surface areas at elevated temperatures (550°–1000°C). For example, the product that was prepared from a 9:1 TIP:TMOS mixture transformed to rutile at ∼1100°C and possessed a surface area of 160 m2/g, even after calcination at 800°C for 1 h.  相似文献

The effects of operation conditions on the flow behaviour in gas–liquid countercurrent trickle bed biofilter were experimentally examined. In order to prevent gas channelling in the biofilter, packings with a relatively large void fraction, which have a role to maintain a high void fraction in the bed, were added. The gas and liquid velocities of the packed structure and the packings were changed, and the residence time distributions (RTDs) of the gas and liquid were measured. It was found that the addition of void supporters was very effective in the suppression of gas channelling.  相似文献

A NOx aftertreatment system, using nonthermal plasma (NTP) reduction and exhaust gas components' recirculation, is investigated. A pilot-scale system is applied to a stationary diesel engine. In this system, NOx is first removed by adsorption, and subsequently, the adsorbent is regenerated by thermal desorption. NOx desorbed is reduced by using nitrogen NTP. Moreover, NOx, CO2, and water vapor recirculated into the engine intake reduce NOx. In this study, approximately 57% of the NOx of the exhaust (NOx: 240-325 ppm, flow rate = 300 NL/min) can be continuously treated for 58 h. A system energy efficiency of 120 g (NO2)/kWh is obtained.  相似文献

Abstract— The synthesis of carbon‐nanotube (CNT) field emitters for FEDs by thermal chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and their structural and emission characterization are described. Multi‐walled nanotubes (MWNTs) were grown on patterned metal‐base electrodes by thermal CVD, and the grown CNTs formed a network structured layer covering the surfaces of the metal electrode uniformly, which realized uniform distribution of electron emission. A technique for growing narrow MWNTs was also developed in order to reduce the driving voltage. The diameter of MWNT depends on the growth temperature, and it has changed from 40 nm at the low temperature (675°C) to 10–15 nm at the high temperature (900–1000°C). Moreover, narrower MWNTs were grown by using the metal‐base electrode covered with a thin alumina layer and a metal catalyst layer. Double‐walled nanotubes (DWNTs) were also observed among narrow MWNTs. The emission from the narrow CNTs showed a low turn‐on electric field of 1.5 V/μm at the as‐grown layer.  相似文献

The effect of isothermal annealing of amorphous PbTiO3 at a temperature below the crystallization temperature, Tcrys, has been investigated. Time dependent dielectric constant in the annealing process has been observed. From the experimental results, both the existence of the glass transition temperature, Tg, and the steadiness of dielectric constant at room temperature have been established.  相似文献

Three-dimensional morphological variations in the human face were analysed using digital models of the human face, and the usefulness of such analysis in designing industrial products was demonstrated by validating spectacle frame designs based on an original sizing system developed based on the analysis. A normalized model of the three-dimensional face form was made for each of 56 young adult Japanese males. The morphological distances between subjects were defined, and subjects were divided into four groups based on analysis of the distance matrix. A prototype spectacle frame was designed for the average form of each of the four groups. Tightening force of the prototype frames was adjusted using the materialized average forms with soft material placed at the nasal bridge and side of the head. Four prototype frames as well as a conventional frame were evaluated using sensory evaluation and physical measurement of the pressure and slip in 38 young adult male subjects. For each of the 38 subjects, prototype frames were ranked according to the morphological similarity of the subjects and the average form of the four groups: the frame designed for the average form of the group most similar to the subject was #1, the frame designed for the average form of the next most similar group was #2, and so on. For the groups with smaller or narrower faces, new frame #1 was most preferred and had the best overall fit, smallest slip sensation and largest pressure sensation. The groups with larger or wider faces preferred tighter frames than new frame #1, because they were concerned that the frames might slip, although the frames did not. Most of the subjects habitually wore spectacles, and the reason that groups with larger or wider faces preferred tighter frames was thought to be that they were accustomed to tighter fitting frames.  相似文献

In this study, the experiment of the extrusion lamination process using high‐pressure process low‐density polyethylene (LDPE) was performed. The nonisothermal viscoelastic simulation of the extrusion lamination experiment was also carried out. The simulation results were in good agreement with the experimental data within wide range of take up velocity and air gap length. We developed the theoretical model based on force balance and deformation type of a film to predict the neck‐in behavior in the extrusion lamination or cast film process. It was suggested from the neck‐in model that the neck‐in correlates with the ratio of planar to uniaxial elongational viscosity. It was confirmed that the neck‐in model could predict the film edge shape and neck‐in properly for conventional LDPE. POLYM. ENG. SCI., 2010. © 2009 Society of Plastics Engineers  相似文献

Cholesterol oxidase (CHO) with high stability in detergents was found from an isolated strain, Y-134, belonging to the gamma-subclass of Proteobacteria. CHO production reached its maximum by incubation at 30 degrees C for 12 d. It was purified from cell-free extract prepared by mixing the cells with 0.4% Triton X-100. The absorption spectrum of the purified enzyme exhibited maxima at 274 and 410 nm, and a shoulder at 330 nm. The molecular mass was 115 kDa with two identical subunits of 58 kDa. The enzyme oxidized cholest-5-en-3beta-ol (cholesterol) and 5alpha-cholestan-3beta-ol (dihydrocholesterol) at a high reaction rate, and the K(m) value for cholesterol was 65 microM. The stability of the enzyme was higher than other CHOs in nonionic detergents with high values of hydrophilelipophile balance (HLB) such as Triton X-450 and sodium cholate. NH2-terminal sequence analysis showed a high similarity to CHO from Burkholderia cepacia, but not to CHOs from Streptomyces or Brevibacterium.  相似文献
