Recently, a biologically inspired, bipedal, dynamic, humanoid robot was developed at the Artificial Life and Robotics Laboratory of Oita University. This bipedal humanoid robot is able to walk dynamically and to go up and down stairs. The central pattern generator developed produces various types of walking pattern. This robot has a pair of small CMOS color CCD cameras, a speaker, and a microphone in the head part, and will have a GPS, a portable telephone, and other sensors in the body part, so that the integration of locomotion and behavior to achieve specific demonstrations will be realized. This project develops dynamic mobility and the ability for autonomous recognition and navigation using the biological central nervous system, the brain system, and the real-time control system. Also, the design principles that demonstrate the dynamic interaction between neural and mechanical controls will be clarified. In Phase I, the platform of a small, bipedal, humanoid robot is used to develop autonomous locomotion and autonomous sensing and navigation. In Phase II of the project, an iteration on the platform design for human-size, bipedal, humanoid robots will be performed for operational testing. Three-dimensional (3-D) nanostructures of gold catalysts supported on TiO2 were analysed by electron holography and high-resolution electron microscopy. The contact angle of the gold particle on TiO2 tended to be >90 degrees in the case of gold particles with a size (height) of >4 nm and it tended to be <90 degrees for gold particles with a height of <2 nm. The change in morphology increases the perimeter at the Au/TiO2 interface as the particle size decreases. This change in 3-D structure should be attributed to a change in electronic structure at the interface. It was found that electron holography enabled 3-D analysis at the atomic level and was effective for analysing nanostructured particles. 相似文献

In previous studies, various stabilizing control methods for humanoids during the stance phase while hopping and running were proposed. Although these methods contribute to stability while hopping and running, it is possibility that the control during the flight phase could also affect the stability. In this study, we investigated whether the control during the flight phase can affect the stability of a humanoid while running. To achieve stable hopping, we developed a control system that accounts for the angular momentum of the whole body during the flight phase. In this system, the angular momentum generated by the motion of the lower body in each time interval is calculated during the flight phase, and the trunk joints are controlled to generate the angular momentum necessary to compensate for the deviation of the waist posture, which is used as the reference point for the motion coordinate system of the robot. Once the proposed control system was developed and simulated, we found that the hopping duration in the unconstrained state was extended. 相似文献

Niobium- or vanadium-doped anatase sols were prepared by hydrothermal treatment of 0.1 mol/dm3 peroxotitanium complex aqueous solutions dissolving 0–10 mol% niobium or vanadium at 100°C for 8 h. Niobium-doping caused the increase of lattice constants of anatase and the shape change of anatase crystal from spindle-like to cubic-like structure, but no change of the optical absorbance. Vanadium-doping caused the decrease of lattice constant of c -axis, the miniaturization of anatase crystal and the increase of optical absorbance at the wavelength from 350–700 nm. 相似文献

Schottky barrier heights (SBHs) of a variety of metals (In, Cd, Nb, Ti, W, Cu, Ag, Au, Ni, Pt, and Se) contacting to p-ZnSe
grown by a molecular beam epitaxy method were determined by analyzing capacitance-voltage (C-V) and/or current density-voltage
(J-V) curves. The SBH values of the Au and Ni contacts were determined from intersections of straight lines of the C−2-V curves to be 1.23 and 1.13 eV, respectively. The J-V calculations provided a large SBH value of 1.2 ± 0.1 eV for a variety
of metals, indicating that the Fermi-level could be pinned at the contact interface. Reduction of the SBH values to a level
lower than 0.4 eV and/or increase of doping concentrations to a level higher than 1020 cm−3 are essential to obtain an ohmic contact with contact resistivity of around 10−3 Ω·cm2. 相似文献

Cu nanoparticle ink was prepared from Cu nanoparticles that were coated with a gelatin layer at an average diameter of 46 nm. The Cu nanoparticle ink was applied on the polyimide substrate. Conductive films were fabricated using the Cu nanoparticle ink with a two-step annealing process consisting of oxidative pre-heating at 200 °C under 10 ppm O2-N2 mixed gas flow and reductive calcination at 250 °C under 3 vol.% H2-N2 mixed gas flow showed a low resistivity of 5 μΩ cm. The hydrolysis of the remaining gelatin layer by H2O vapor, which was formed during the reduction of the Cu oxide by 3 vol.% H2-N2 mixed gas, was suggested. The results suggest the possibility of the removal of the gelatin layer without oxidative pre-heating and simultaneous sintering of Cu nanoparticles in reductive calcination. 相似文献

The diffusion coefficient (D) values of tert‐butyloxycarbonyl‐glycine, tert‐butyloxycarbonyl‐L ‐tryptophan, tert‐butyloxycarbonyl‐L ‐phenylalanine (Boc‐Phe), and 9‐fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl‐L ‐phenylalanine in Merrifield polystyrene (MPS) gels, poly(ethylene glycol)‐grafted polystyrene (PEG–PS) gels, and crosslinked ethoxylate acrylate (CLEAR) gels, as used in solid‐phase peptide synthesis, were determined by the pulsed‐field‐gradient spin‐echo 1H‐NMR method. From these experimental results, it was found that the amino acids in MPS gels, PEG–PS gels, and CLEAR gels with N,N‐dimethylformamide‐d7 (DMF‐d7) as a solvent had multidiffusion components within a measurement timescale of 10 ms. The D value of Boc‐Phe in polystyrene gels (1% divinylbenzene crosslinked) with tetrahydrofuran‐d8 was much larger than that in the same gels with DMF‐d7. Furthermore, the required time in which an amino acid transferred from a reactive site to a reactive site was estimated, within which the solvents and amino acids in the polymer supports diffused in the swollen beads.© 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
