The concentrations of myricetin in medicinal plants such as Rosa canina L. (rosa hip), Terebinthina chica L. (terebinth), Urtica dioica L. (nettle), and Portuca oleracea L. (purslane) were determined by high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS). The aglycones of myricetin were extracted using methanol–ascorbic acid– hydrochloric acid, methanol–hydrochloric acid, and methanol, separated within 5 min, and individually quantitated in the positive ionization mode using optimized conditions for HPLC-MS. Methanol–ascorbic acid–hydrochloric acid was the optimum extraction solvent. The myricetin concentration in the plants were between 3 and 58 mg kg?1, with a limit of quantification equal to 0.1 mg L?1. 相似文献

The wave energy potential is directly proportional to the wave period and second power of wave height averaged over a suitable time period. The wave height and period have temporal and spatial stochastic variations. It is the main purpose of this paper to derive the most general wave energy formulation by considering simultaneously the temporal variations both in the wave height and period. The correction factor is derived explicitly in terms of cross-correlation and the coefficients of variation. Consumption of the fossil fuels causes greenhouse gas effect and environmental pollution, which are two basic problems of our age. As a result of this problem, clean and renewable alternative energy sources are beginning to replace fossil fuels. Nowadays, the use of hydrogen energy, which is one of the clean energy, is increasing in transportation and industrial areas. Increasing of hydrogen energy usage, scientists are attempting to solve the many safety problems (such as fire, burst, impact and hydrogen embrittlement) that can occur during the storage and consumption of hydrogen energy. In this study, during the event of fire, the safety of metallic Type I pressure hydrogen storage tanks is investigated by using a novel approach. In this new approach, the mechanical strength drops of the tank materials that is related with temperature rising are added to the safety calculations. In the study, 6061 T6 aluminum and SS 316L stainless steel alloys were used as hydrogen tank material. The safety of hydrogen tanks modelled using these alloys was investigated under different temperature conditions (22, 100, 200 and 300 °C) and internal pressure (15, 20 and 25 MPa). 相似文献

The Internet not only facilitates our daily activities, such as communication, entertainment and shopping but also serves as the enabling technology for many critical services, including finance, manufacturing, healthcare and transportation. On the other hand, a wide spectrum of attacks targets its communication infrastructure to disable or disrupt the network connectivity and traffic flow until recovery processes take place. Attacking all autonomous systems (ASes) in the Internet is typically beyond the capability of an adversary. Therefore, targeting a small number of ASes which results in the highest impact is the best strategy for attackers. Similarly, it is important for network practitioners to identify, fortify and secure those critical ASes to mitigate the impact of the attacks. In this study we introduce an intuitive and effective measure, IP address spatial path stress centrality, to assess and identify the critical ASes in the Internet. We compare IP address spatial path stress centrality to the three well-known and widely used centrality measures, namely customer-cone size, node degree and betweenness. We demonstrate that the proposed measure incorporates business relations and IP address spaces to achieve a better measure for identifying the critical ASes in the Internet. 相似文献

In this study, experimental neutron-emission spectra produced by (n, xn) reactions on nuclei 232Th have been compared with experimental 238U(n, xn) neutron-emission spectra from 2 to 18 MeV. Angle-integrated cross-sections in neutron induced reactions on targets 238U have been calculated at the bombarding energies from 2 to 18 MeV. In the calculations, the geometry dependent hybrid model and the cascade exciton model including the effects of pre-equilibrium have been used. In addition, we have described how multiple pre-equilibrium emissions can be included in the Feshbach–Kerman-Koonin (FKK) fully quantum-mechanical theory. By analyzing (n, xn) reaction on 238U with the incident energy from 2 to 18 MeV, the importance of multiple pre-equilibrium emission can be seen clearly. In this study, (hydroxypropylmethacrylate-co-ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate-co-glycidylmetharylate) terpolymer resin functionalized with sulfonic acid groups was prepared and used as cation exchange resin for removal of two different disperse dyes (i.e., Direct Red R [DR-R] and Disperse Violet 28 [DV-28]) from aqueous solution. The properties of the adsorbent were determined using Fourier transform infrared, dynamic light scattering, scanning electron microscopy, and Brunauer, Emmett, and Teller methods. The maximum adsorption capacity of the resin for the DR-R and DV-28 was found to be 86.1 and 179.6 mg/g, respectively. Desorption study was realized to evaluate the reusability of the resin and the percent desorption from the resin for DR-R and DV-28 dyes was found to be approximately 89.4% and 91.7%, respectively. The experimental data were evaluated using different kinetics and isotherm models. These results show that the experimental data could be designated with the second-order kinetic model and both Langmuir and Temkin isotherm models. Finally, the presented resin was able to remove large amounts of organic pollutants in a short process time with a low amount of adsorbent. Thus, it was shown that the prepared resin has high potential for use as an effective and sustainable adsorbent for the treatment of industrial wastewater. POLYM. ENG. The aim of this article is to improve the interfacial adhesion between silicone rubber (SR) and Rayon fiber by the help of functional hybrid POSS nanoparticles. Two POSS types were compared, octavinyl-POSS (O-POSS) and methacryl-POSS (M-POSS), having reactive CC double bonds that can impart in peroxide crosslinking. O-POSS is nonpolar, whereas M-POSS is polar and is able to make H-bond with Rayon fibers. POSS type and their concentrations were examined as the experimental parameters. H-adhesion tests indicated that both POSS types enhanced the adhesion of SR composites to Rayon fibers compared with control recipe. Specifically, slightly higher values were obtained with the use of M-POSS. It was observed that both O-POSS and M-POSS slowed down the curing rate but increased the degree of crosslinking. The cure extent of O-POSS containing composites was found to be higher than that of M-POSS containing ones. Thermal gravimetric analyses revealed that thermal stability of SR composites was significantly improved by the addition of POSS particles. Higher char yield and degradation temperatures were obtained with O-POSS at higher loadings with respect to M-POSS. The POSS distribution at lower loading levels was found to be homogenous for both POSS types as observed from scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope. 相似文献

Monitoring the release and activation of prodrug formulations provides essential information about the outcome of a therapy. While the prodrug delivery can be confirmed by using different imaging techniques, confirming the release of active payload by using imaging is a challenge. Here, we have discovered that the switchable fluorescence of doxorubicin can validate drug release upon its uncaging reaction with a highly specific chemical partner. We have observed that the conjugation of doxorubicin with a trans-cyclooctene (TCO) diminishes its fluorescence at 595 nm. This quenched fluorescence of the doxorubicin prodrug is recovered upon its bond-cleaving reaction with tetrazine. Clinically assessed iron oxide nanoparticles were used to formulate a doxorubicin nanodrug. The release of doxorubicin from the nanodrug was studied under various experimental conditions. A fivefold increase in doxorubicin fluorescence is observed after complete release. The studies were carried out in vitro in MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells. An increase in Dox signal was observed upon tetrazine administration. This switchable fluorescence mechanism of Dox could be employed for fundamental studies, that is, the reactivity of various tetrazine and TCO linker types under different experimental conditions. In addition, the system could be instrumental for translational research where the release and activation of doxorubicin prodrug payloads can be monitored by using optical imaging systems. 相似文献
